From the front desk to the staff that administer the tests they're efficient and do their best to get folks on their way. Waiting room at this Clinical Labs is fairly large. What I enjoy is that the they've got two seats in this office leave you ample space to sit. You immediately walk in and head straight to the check in desk. Be sure to have your insurance and ID ready at hand and then you have a seat as you wait. When they're done with your information they'll return your cards to you. Don't be alarmed if staff ask about fasting, it's par for the course - so if you didn't need to fast for your tests it's okay. Clarifying what type of service you need is helpful too whether or not you're dropping off a sample or coming in for a test ordered by your care provider. They do have water available for the patients, which is cold - yay. While they do have restrooms they are for patient use only. Parking is shared on the lot but the parking lot area is large. However, during lunch hours I've noticed that it can be packed if you're trying to get a stall close to the front area.

Okay no problem I will wait a few minutes before being seen. This is where I got upset there were people behind me who came in after me, the lady from the back came to help the receptionist (the one who takes your blood) why is she helping her? I don't have all day I have an appt. Next door in 15 minutes. She starts to check 3 people in after me. Finally at 835 20 minutes after I walk in and nobody ahead of me I was seen. Wtheck? I know sometimes it can be a while but not when your the only one the at first. Well she was good because I didn't even feel a thing I can give her credit for that. But this clinical labs takes a while. Be prepared to wait. But I still give them a 4 outta 5 star.

Parking is adequate in their private lot or on-street as the area isn't fully developed. There are more staff working here than at their Kahului clinic on Hana Highway, so service has been a lot quicker, and online appointments more widely available. Reception and phlebotomists have been welcoming and professional. Lab results are quick, viewable online on the next business day. The only hiccup I've encountered are bills received that show no insurance application, forcing me to call in to relay the info regardless of reception making photo copies of my insurance card before going in. Other than that, it's been smooth sailing. OVERALL: Much less crowded than their other central locations by far.

I took advantage of the "Free Maui County Volunteer Transpacific 2nd Test Program & Visitors To The Island of Maui Testing" program that Mayor Victorino put in place to get tested for free and then receive a free Kamaaina card, mahalo Mike! It was so easy to set up the appointment. I just followed the instructions on the website and chose the traveler free Covid testing. Then I chose my location from either Kahului, Kihei, or Lahaina. All I had to do was fill out an easy form online and then take a picture of the front and back of my Driver's License. Then I was booked! ***Take a screen shot of your appointment time however because I had trouble going back to look at my booked time. *** The Kahului location is located just past Walmart if Walmart is on your left. Just input it in to your navigation and it is easy to find. They also have a large white 'Minute Medical' canopy up so you can see them. Everything is done while you are in the car. The nurse will do the swabbing and then if you are a visitor they will give you the Kamaaina card before you leave. I got my email test a little over an hour later by email! Best of all it was fast and free! The workers and nurse were really nice and they were all good about wearing masks, changing their gloves, and social distancing. What a great service!
