I let her know that I have a tendency to faint and needed to lie back. She put me in their version of a lounge chair. She even aimed a little fan at me and gave me a cold pack to put on my chest. Her blood draw was smooth and hardly hurt at all. She was excellent. I wish I remembered her name but it started with a T and she wore red scrubs. It was one of my best blood draw experiences! Tip: When I tried to book originally, it was three weeks out, but if you look in the morning, there'll be open appointments because people cancel. When I arrived there were a handful of people there, a few walk-ins (I heard them talking). Labcorp staff were moving folks through - fast, friendly, professional. For the actual act, they were supportive and positive (I'm hard to get blood from) and only had to poke me twice. A++ Here's what's making me get on for this review, though. The person checking folks in (Cy? Si?) asked me, "Did you bring a lab slip?" which I had walked out and forgotten on the printer. Instead of me bein' all sad and needing to go home and make another appointment (after fasting until 1:30pm) she said, "Is it in your email? You can just email it to me and I'll print it for you." Once we did, we still never saw a price as none was given on our submission form. My card was then charged $1,410 by them for 10 mold samples. These were only $40 each from other labs that we had used previously. I called and they said they didn't realize we weren't walk-ins so our rate should be around $46/ sample and they would make it right. They offered me a credit of $60 out of my $1,400 to make it right for the lack of transparency and us never seeing or agreeing to the exorbitant pricing. Do not use this company if you value your money and by all means do not give them your credit card number. They will wring out every penny they can from you and offer you a 5% credit to pretend like they tried to help when you point out that there was never anything signed agreeing to their secret prices.

So I'm sure people can imagine how traumatic that is when you go in for a scan and they dont find any movement of heartbeat. After getting a D&C and a few weeks later, my husband and I discover we are pregnant yet again! We are both elated and extremely anxious about this baby, so we want an early ultrasound. I call 3w and they are able to get me in within a few days, which is almost unheard of for a doctor's office. Anyone who has had an ultrasound, especially after a loss is very aware of how terrifying it can be to get another scan. Even though everything was going well, you still never know until you start feeling the baby moving. 3w, unlike any other clinic I've been to, puts in every effort to make your visit feel like you're at home. They keep the waiting area beautiful, with classical music playing and water if you're thirsty. Their bathrooms are spectacular and feel like you're at a spa, and the artwork on the walls are all handmade. In the ultrasound room they even put cloud coverings up on the lights! For someone who has heard bad news while looking up at a plain, sterile ceiling, its extremely comforting to have something calming to look at. The ultrasound went beautifully and everything was healthy and Dr. Sue answered all my questions during and after the scan. We were never in a rush and the ultrasound was free! Since we are now at the time where we lost our last baby, and I had no signs last time, I have been having some major anxiety lately. Since a lot of my morning sickness is starting to lessen, but before any consistent movements from the baby, there isnt much in the way of consoling yourself. So anyway, today I wake up in a panic and dont 'feel' pregnant. I call up 3w today and they were able to fit me in for a scan the same day!! Having the peace of mind that I have somewhere to go if I'm panicking already relieves most of my anxiety. Of course, we go in and we immediately see the baby is moving around and just fine! Nervous pregnant moms will understand the relief to see that baby jumping all around! Things are now much calmer and just having the clinic as a resource for non emergencies is the best thing a pregnant woman could ask for! Everyone at the clinic is extremely sweet and never made me feel stupid for being anxious. Just having them as a source makes pregnancy that much easier, especially if you've experienced a loss. This was not acceptable as their policy was not to give a refund after charging one month prior. Instead of a refund, I would pay $197 to not have to deal with Life Wise customer support again. The nurses are actually very good. However, they sold me an add-on for $99 that basically resulted in recommendations instead of data. They hold their annual screening sessions in various different public venues every year. This year, I went to Unity Church in Bellevue to do only the 4 tests promoted in this year's mailer for $149. They also have other tests that they will try to upsell you to, but they usually don't overdo this. The mailers give you a promo code and a phone number to call (or www.lifelinescreening.com) to set up your appointment. They also tell you when you last had certain tests and whether or not you need to have them done again this year. Their tests also include finger pricks to take blood samples, but mostly ultrasounds to test for "silent killers", blood clots, etc. Their mission is to do the kind of tests that Medicare or your health insurance will only cover once you show symptoms. By that time, it could be too late, if the first symptom is a stroke or a heart attack! GREEN = "GO", RED = "STOP", BUT YELLOW DOES NOT MEAN "GO VERY FAST." To have those same tests done at your doctor's office would cost a bit more. This is why LLS focuses only on preventative tests that could uncover potential silent killers. Only bummer is that they do not take insurance. They send you the ultrasound test results in 3 weeks, prepared in a professional pleasingly graphic format that can be easily understood by you and your doctor. Their graphic results show green if you have "no blockage"(OK), yellow if you are in the "mild blockage" (MEH) zone, and red if you are in the "severe blockage" (OMG!) zone. Oh, they will be sure to bring it to your immediate attention if you ever hit the red zone on any of their tests. INSTANT FINGERSTICK RESULTS GOT STUCK ON HOLD? Fingerstick test results have always been given to me right away in the past. But for some reason I did not get them this year.
