After being referred to LabCorp by two specialists outside the Evergreen network, I had two frustrating experiences in a single day--one with a very rude phlebotomist and another where I arrived for a scheduled appointment only to find the door locked. Disappointed, I took my doctor's orders and returned to Evergreen Health, and I couldn't be happier with that decision. From my very first visit with Ildi, she has been nothing short of amazing--caring, thoughtful, and highly professional. Her kindness and expertise make every visit seamless and reassuring. I'm still fairly new to Dr. Curtis and every time I leave his office, I count my blessings for finding him. He never rushes our visits. Very thorough, very kind, very caring. He's also got a great personality and always offers a little humor. His assistant and the office staff are absolutely wonderful as well.

Dr. Theresa Platz works at Lakeshore Clinic and is a stand-out in every sense. Lakeshore Clinic is getting better, but may be worth 2-3 stars tops. Dr. Platz is hard to get into and the scheduler offers other doctors when they tell you she's not available. I wait, or go elsewhere if need be. Lakeshore has a blood-draw & specimen lab, and X-ray faicility. However they lose X-rays and tell you to come back the following week for a simple blood draw... etc. It's hit & miss whether this place is more convenient than if she had a private office.

She is ill trained and lacks medical experience, or has the mentality to "get 'em in, get 'em out" health insurance mentality we seniors often experience. My advice is to see a real doctor.
