Complete Family Wellness has changed my life! After seeing 9 doctors and specialists within 12…read moremonths, I was ready to give up on the idea that there were any medical professionals left who would care to help me, let alone just listen to me before making medical decisions. Prior to my first appointment, I made the decision that Complete Family Wellness would be my last attempt at finding a medical professional to help me. The owner, and my provider Helen Muchow FNP-BC, FPA, APRN, MSN, changed my quality of life from 5% to 80% in my FIRST visit. We are currently working on the other 20% (mostly due to medical insurance roadblocks). Helen was not only professional, but actually LISTENED to every word I was saying, then took that information and developed a care plan WITH me, instead of just telling me what to do and sending me on my way with a prescription. I've been seeing Helen for over a year now, and her quality of care has not changed, even as she has taken over her staff's caseload as she is on maternity leave. I was a medical provider myself, so I understand the back-end (billing, insurance, etc). She does not rush through my appointment, like every other doctor/specialist I've seen, just to be able to see more patients in a day= more $$= $$ above "doing no harm." Most insurance companies will pay a higher rate for the first 15 minutes of an appointment, and a lower rate is paid for any time over 15 minutes. Helen takes the time to get her job done- above and beyond! Complete Family Wellness also has an on-site lab, so most standard blood work, and other labs can be done right away, during your appointment. Did I mention? Complete Family Wellness also has MOBILE services! They will come to you, in the comfort of your own home. Additionally, Helen is a veteran and accepts military insurance (Tricare West), which many providers do not accept due to Tricare's very low rates- yet another way she demonstrates how dedicated she is in helping people, and not treating us like cogs. On top of all this, Complete Family Wellness's staff are professional, very prompt in responding to any problems that come up between appointments, and make you feel like you matter!

Office manager Anne W. is a piece of work. She lied to and about me, called police to my house…read more(huh???) and blocked me on the patient portal for many hours. Even my insurance company says they've never dealt with anyone like her. Sadly, I fear my FPN Jamie Basten also did not have my wellbeing in mind judging from her unresponsiveness to my medication needs. Helen is a no go, too. I would strongly urge you to look elsewhere for a committed provider.

Dr. Belter works at the same practice as our daughters doctor. Our doctor, who we adore was on…read morevacation and this was the second time we have met with Belter. Our baby girl, has had a very long and rough medical history. She had a cold and he said right away it was a virus she had caught from her older brother. He went on to say infections usually start mid cold so we should look out for those. Then, he said being she was a girl and a toddler he wanted to test her for a Urinary tract infection. I asked how this procedure would be done and he said catheter. I asked if this procedure was really needed mostly because this was the first 24 hours she was sick and if the infections start mid cold, "When the immune system is compromised" that this would be premature. He said it was something he wanted done, walked out and sent the nurses in. My husband and I discussed while he was out and decided we were going to say no to the catheter and come back in 24 hours if her fever didn't go away on it's own, as her big brothers did. ( Like the doctor himself said, she had what her brother had). Dr, Belter came back in, with his arms across his chest and was obviously offended we were going against his "orders". We said we would come back in 24 hours if the fever didn't go away. He then told us and I quote," You can choose to leave without having this done but if you do we have the right to ask you to leave this practice as you are going against what I am recommending." I was furious! He was not our daughters doctor! He could not possibly make this call and put our baby girl in this position. But he did =/ We couldn't just leave the practice my daughter has a long list of medical issues and her main doctor has been with her every step of the way. That being said, we were given no choice but to have the procedure because we couldn't just leave their practice. On another note, all tests came back negative....which I knew=/ We went on to talk to the manger the next day to have them send us in writing where it says a doctor can trump the parents say?! She told us there was NOTHING in writing. So we are left to feel it was not only an empty threat...but our daughter had to be pinned down and had a catheter used on her. I would strongly suggest you stay away from this doctor. Not just based on the doctors skills, but based on the fact I never want another parent to be put in a place they feel like they have NO choice, but to go against what they feel is best for their child.

This is the absolute worst doctor I have ever experienced in my life. I have given him 2 chances…read morewith my son. And as far as I'm concerned, it was a complete waste of my time, energy and copay. I guarantee that Children and Teens are losing patients/business due to this doctor.
