For my last in-person appointment, it's a 45 minute drive for me to reach the office and when I arrived, the entire office was closed and empty, even though I had continued to receive appointment reminders up until that point. I've been calling the office for days trying to make an appointment and refill my prescriptions, with no answer or option to leave a message. I'm aware that they had a large staff turnover, but it's been months now of frustration.

My Medical Negligence lawsuit was dismissed in 2017 because of an error in my bankruptcy paperwork. I was in the ER on a Friday night and had to be squeezed unexpectedly into her Monday morning schedule. Unfortunately for me, I am permanently injured and declared disabled because of HER BAD DAY. I've had multiple surgeries on different areas of my body, in pain every day because of HER BAD DAY. This Doctor had to do the per-surgical clearances and she didn't even look me in the eye and apologize. She did show up at my deposition, though. My livelihood, my career of nearly 30 years is over because of HER BAD DAY. I have endured financial devastation, I lost my home and I am STILL spending $$ on medicinal/physical therapies because of HER BAD DAY. My life span is shortened. In retrospect, I wish I'd gotten a clue when on one of my personal appointments with this Doctor, she spent the majority of time telling me she was not going to refer anymore to the Non-For-Profit company I worked for, also in healthcare. Dr Emily schen is my primary care physician and she is fantastic. She is always friendly and has a smile and has great memory of her patients. My whole family sees her. Her appts are straight forward, sometimes slightly rushed (what dr isn't) but she always takes the time to answer any and all questions I may have. That said, if I have a question for dr shen, she usually calls me herself to discuss, great quality in a dr!! Nurses aren't always typically friendly, but always nice.
