The chiropractor told me that he couldn't do work on me until he looked at X-ray of my back. They don't have one at the office so he asked me to go to a walk in clinic and get one there and come back on a different day for him to review my X-ray and do my first actual session. I was charged $60 for this 5 minute conversation and asked to probably spend another $120 at least before he would touch my back. I decided to take my business elsewhere. My current chiropractor charged me $40 for my first consultation (60 minutes) and a series of X-rays done at the office.
