I sent ten emails confirming the menu and timeline, and never got a reply. Now I know why. The Schedule: She arrived two hours late. My guests were standing on the terrace in the heat with no water and no food while she was still unloading her truck. The Decor: I paid for gold chargers and navy napkins to match the ocean view. She set the tables with some clam looking chargers and silver napkins. When I asked her about it, she rolled her eyes and said, "It's what I had." The Food: The dinner was embarrassing. We ordered steak, but it was served ice cold and tough as leather. Half my guests didn't even eat. The Staff: The service was chaotic. My aunt started talking to one of the servers, and the poor girl admitted she had never worked a wedding before and didn't know what she was doing. The Bartender: This is the worst part. While I understand that I placed the order last minute the day before, no one contacted me to say it was going to be late, nor answered my email or phone call. 4) The most important issue - the balloons look nothing like the picture i ordered from.
