This is written to commend an employee I interacted with a couple of weeks ago at the Mather DHL office for whom I only have a first name: Maurice. When it comes to service, excellence can be a rare commodity these days. When I come across true excellence, I believe it is important to take the time to acknowledge it. When I first arrived, Maurice greeted me professionally but warmly, then proceeded to explain very clearly and patiently some of the intricacies of international shipping of hazardous materials. He was so well informed I had no doubts about the accuracy or completeness of what he was explaining to me. He went over various options, the associated costs, and suggested ways I could reduce cost if necessary. All in all, not only did he provide everything I needed in terms of information, but his clear commitment to providing true full service was apparent from when I walked in the door to when I left. read more

I recently went to this location to send a package overseas. The office was clean and the service was quick very efficient. The gentleman that helped me was respectful and professional. read more

They always help super quickly and very friendly . They even help me carry my packages to the car!

My experience was great fast and simple. Friendly service and clean location. Easy to find, and a lot of parking. They are following COVID regulations and had decor for Christmas. All and all great experience read more

The one star reviews here are accurate. I was expecting a package on 4/24 and was following tracking. Said it was out for delivery, and I was home all day. Next thing I know is tracking is updated to say "Delivery attempted but no response at Consignee address". Again, I was home all day. I thought maybe the gate into our neighborhood was the issue, although it's never an issue for FedEx, Amazon, UPS, or USPS. So I call and I give them the gate code and request delivery Monday, 4/28. Next thing I know, tracking is updated on 4/25 to say "Delivery attempted but no response...". I again was home all day, and I had called in the morning to confirm they had my gate code, they did. So Monday 4/24 in the A.M. I call and ask what is going on. The CS rep lets it slip that they "really didn't try to deliver and I cant see on my end what they can see on their end with the tracking, and rest assured we have your gate code and delivery will be today (4/28)." So basically, they didnt really try to deliver, they just made it look like they did and it was my fault? It's got to the point where if I order anything online and shipping carrier is ID'd as DHL I will not place the order and I will look elsewhere. Companies like this will never learn until they are forced to and I am going to do my part by not using them. read more

Still sucks they keep trying to deliver my packages after business hours when we are closed. No one answers customer service. Just not a good company to deal with. read more

Trash service. Won't call your cell even after they confirm they'll have the driver call. They refuse to deliver through a gate that is open as they are incompetent. Never had this much trouble ever with package. read more

In reality and my recent experience I'd give them a big fat NEGATIVE 5 STARS! My package was to be delivered by end of day, someone was home all day and DHL never showed up. I then receive an email saying an attempt was made but no one was home. Our Ring device nor Xfinity cameras also confirmed no attempt was made. Gtfoh! Management needs to root out these unprofessional, unethical employees who does not perform their job duties and responsibilities. Customer satisfaction and feedback is how a company survives. With all these negative reviews I wonder if a CAPA has been discussed??? Or maybe they just don't give a f*@# about CS. read more

First time using this service for passport processing and mailing. Great, fast, affordable and reliable services and the gentleman at the front counter was super helpful. Thank you. read more

If you want your packages go with a different company. They will not deliver as promised and say they attempt but no one was home. I waited all day looking for my package. I was told it would come by the end of day 8:00pm. At 8:10 I received a message they attempt but no one was home. Well that was a lie. When they delivery staff want to make time that's what they say to avoid some stops. I contact the shipper who I get my products from to not ship through them again for me. read more

Unreliable. Tracking is unreliable. Will say that will attempt to deliver. How could you deliver to our office if we closed at 5pm. Tried to deliver at 8 pm!!! I called their customer service department. No explanation just sorry Like always. This has happened to our business numerous times for years. I'm doing this review so that maybe DHL can contact me because I have the solution to solve this issue. read more

Most delivery drivers are rude or don't know how to follow directions/instructions. The one star is for the fast delivery speed. otherwise, no star for service read more

Abdul, you rocked for delivering my important documents. You went beyond and provided me with an excellent customer service and you added the extra simile in face just made my day. Thanks again ! :) read more

I used to really like DHL, however, very frustrated because I recently needed to have my package delivered after 5 PM due to not being able to be at home sooner from work and after multiple contacts with the company and requests they still did not honor my requested time. read more

I've been here once and called another time and both times I was greeted with kindness and both ladies were so helpful. I just felt like I needed to write a review because it really makes me happy as a small business owner, to know I can ask questions and get help so quick and easy! Keep it up! It's appreciated read more

Great customer service. Was quickly helped with a drop off. Very nice and easy going staff. Great experience! :)

The worst!! Order something on line and the don't give you a reason why no delivery. So I went out of my way to pick it up ! They are not popular for a reason ! read more

If I could give this company zero stars I would. Their customer service line is useless. The people that answer the phones are unreliable and not knowledgeable about their shipment processes. read more

YOUR DELIVERY PEOPLE SUCK. I made sure to use the online form that allows the option to have it left at the fucking door and they decide to leave a prewritten ass note on my doorknob saying to reschedule the delivery because I "wasn't home when it was delivered". No actually I was and y'all did not text me about it being delivered, WHICH IS WHAT I PUT MY NUMBER IN THERE FOR SO I CAN GET THE NOTIFICATION. I rather pick my shit up and never let y'all deliver my shit again. read more

Probably the most unprofessional delivery service out basically they saidmy package will be delivered on a Monday but they tried to come to my house on Friday didn't notify me and then didn't leave my package but left with it and now they're telling me I won't be able to get my package until the following Monday I've already been waiting and they've already been giving me the runaround I've called them no help at all I've called twice actually and no help at all I am beyond upset and will not ever ever ever get anything delivered through them just unprofessional and I paid my own money and they're telling me I can't get my things. Do not get anything shipped through them !!! One star even is TO generous! I believe the drivers are stealing the packages no one attempted to even knock someone's been home ALL DAY. read more

I don't think that I've ever had DHL deliver to the proper address. They keep mixing it up with my neighbor down the street. So they get ours and we get theirs. Your drivers need to slow down and READ the addresses properly. Myself and the neighbor have contacted this company and complained about it. It's still happening. It's the same driver. Looks like a russian guy in a sketchy van. Constantly pulls into driveways and rarely ever looks for neighbors pulling out of their driveways. Driver also throws packages at door. No im not exaggerating we have video of it. We have a doorbell camera that records everything. read more

Not sure why Popular UK sites used DHL for delivery. Purchased a package from ASOS and paid extra to get it delivered to me within 2 days. I was standing outside my house when I received notification that my package had been delivered on my porch at that time. Umm, they didn't deliver it to my porch because I was standing right outside. I called DHL and they stated it was delivered and asked if I had a pineapple mat with yellow vase on my porch. NOPE, not my porch. They then asked me if any of my neighbors had that mat and I told them I don't know and that I would not be walking around my neighborhood looking for a damn pineapple mat. They then said they would inform the delivery person and try to retrieve it... 4 days later, still no call and obviously they did not find my package. After day 3 though, i came home and DHL left me a note saying, "hi there, we delivered a package to you on accident, please call us at 916...." FIRST OFF, YOU DIDNT DELIVER ME A PACKAGE ON ACCIDENT. YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO DELIVER TO MY ADDRESS BUT YOU DELIVERED IT SOMEWHERE ELSE, DUMMY! Definitely going to let ASOS know about this. Updated 10/27/2018: Giving 2 stars now since the other delivery woman who delivered my package to me was very nice and made sure the address where she was delivering it to was correct( I saw her double check my home address outside my house). BUT, still upset about my lost package from my first review since their customer service didn't seem it was important enough for them to retrieve my package when they were the ones at fault. read more

If you ever have to go into this location to ship or pick up, you will be in good hands with Maurice. Wow, he went above and beyond to take care of my needs....he even called me to follow up with a shipment after I had left. He did not have to do that, and I was completely grateful that he did. He is a role model of customer service (and human kindness). Thank you, Maurice! read more

Ordered something from Germany and they used DHL. Was out for delivery yesterday. We were up until 10pm last night and no delivery. I checked tracking and it said delivery attempted but no one home!!!! There was no attempted delivery slip on my door either! And they are CLOSED on Saturdays!!! What a crappy company. They didnt attempt to deliver it. It got too late and they probably just went home. What a horrible company!!! read more

I've have products shipped to me through DHL several times,it always takes over 8 days to get the package. Right now I'm waiting on one and it's been 5 days and no tracking info has been updated since it shipped. With DHL you are in the dark. It's the worst shipping service. read more

If I could give 0 stars i would. there is a reason nobody ever thinks of DHL, because they truly could not suck worse. They said they tried to deliver an item and nobody was home, total BS. I have been here waiting for this delivery, they didn't leave it and they never showed up on my Ring or my driveway camera. Absolute liars. The worst, I cannot repeat that enough, truly the worst. I would pay double to use UPS or FedEx over this clown operation. F'ing lazy lying ass drivers. read more

Why just why!!! I specifically told the seller not to use DHL because the office is full of incompetent illiterate dimwits who have a combined IQ of 2! The seller said she was sorry but of course my package never made it to me! After 3 days of dealing with the fucktards in customer service I still have yet to receive my package! DHL literally can't do shit right! read more

Gentlemen in the front had Great customer service. He was very helpful and pleasant in helping me send out my documents to the Philippines.

I agree with all the negative reviews. My review is about Stockton DHL crew They will lose your package. And they don't care. Specially the Stockton carriers. They lost my package. When I called to ask they told me oh we will investigate. Hahah my &$$! They came down to my door took a pic and told me oh we have a pic of your door where we dropped off the package. Duhhh you came down 2 days later doing a fake "investigation" and took a photo of my porch. Show me the pic of the package placed on my porch not just my porch!!! Please just stay away from DHL. If you ever did release of signatures that means they got the permit to lose your mail. After calling for a week everyday they tell me case close cuz they have a pic of my porch!! read more

I ordered Christmas presents for my wife from a company in Britain. DHL delivered them to the wrong address. After two days of investigation they were unable to recover my parcel and told me apologetically that they were done with me. Luckily the company in Britain refunded my money, or DHL would have basically stolen $200 from me. I will say that the phone customer service reps were polite and professional. But that doesn't make up for the gross incompetence or lack of responsibility of the actual delivery service. read more

This man working here deserves a raise! Seriously employee of the month level. It was near closing and he was so genuinely nice to me. I have to drop off another package today and I honestly hope he's there because he brightened my day last time. I work in customer service too, and it's so hard to keep in good spirits like that these days! read more

Sorry, but your location gets to take the rating hit because of the incompetence of your VanNuys location. When I requested a delivery address change the Van Nuys office simply fouled up the entire order. They reported deliveries by the end of day for several locations but never actually released the package to those locations. Just stick it in a FedEx box so I have some confidence that it will actually be delivered. No one with DHL appears concerned what so ever with delivering a package. Yet, they claim that's their mission. read more

DHL is even worse than UPS in delivery time I can't understand why more people don't just use the United States Post Office to deliver anything that is not to big for them, I can order from anywhere in the USA and have it in CA in a few days I have a pack of vacuum cleaner bags coming from a seller in Minnesota and DHL is taking at least 13 Days, do yourself a favor and use the mail read more

I never knew that my shipping courier was DHL. I was scared from all the reviews that had complained about it. My experience was honestly the best. They rang the door and I got my package unlike some shipping couriers AHEM ontrac. The guy was fairly nice too. I'm glad I had a good experience with them. read more

Great customer service at this location. Very friendly staff. 5 stars all the way. Best shipping from Europe.

Have used DHL for a long time. From Asia or Europe they are the best. Mather office gives very good service and if you get Maurice the service goes to another level. Stellar. Thank you DHL read more

I don't usually leave reviews on anything, but wanted to recognize hands down, exceptional service with DHL. I've just ordered something overseas over the weekend, on Saturday and surprisingly, my package is already being delivered today, Tuesday. I am also very impressed with their package tracking system that's absolutely up to date in terms of where exactly my package is and very prompt that keeps notifying customers with any updates in their shipping activities. I had a very bad experience with another company not too long ago, with them it took more than a month to get the package delivered with no communications or status updates whatsoever. I am very happy with DHL and to know there is someone who actually values their customers and can provide an exceptional service. read more

Terribly disappointed with this company. They left me a tag that said they were going to return the following Monday and leave my package. They did not. When I called, they said they delivered the package. Then after almost a week of trying to retrieve it. DHL gave up and said no one was home where they left, and finally, gave up and said 'they' lost it. They were very diligent in calling me every day to tell me that nothing happened. No response from the driver, etc, etc. The big issue for me now is that I have to wait until I find out what was lost. DHL was not able to tell me anything about the shipper's information other than it came from Korea (?, really??) so that I could follow up. Never had such a problem getting my packages before. read more

Two supposed attempts to deliver to my home in Grass Valley. You can't miss us. They called and told us that the driver attempted to deliver but we were not home. We told them we were in the damn house and he never tried to deliver anything. We asked them to call him and we would meet him. They said they can't communicate with the driver! We will never use DHL again. read more

This is zero stars, but it wont let me give less than one. This company got two typos in my address and then held the package as undeliverable. Then before I could get the company to fix it, on their own they found my son's address in another state and sent the package there. The only way they could have even gotten that address was to search in a way that makes me feel very uncomfortable - my name happens to be on his deed - what the hell? So, he did get the package and now he has to ship it to me. read more
