Go to ups the DHL delivery service is not worth it ... the delivers don't even try to see if your home. yesterday i been waiting all day Thursday for my package. only for the deliver to leave all of a sudden when i was about to get my package he didn't even try to give me the package he just drove off then i talked to costumer service and they said it will be deliver the next day so i waited all day Friday and no one showed up i called customer service and they still said it was in "process" worst delivery service ever so I would recommend going to UPS it's better service and they can leave your package at the door. This delivery service is putting a bad impression on Amazon. Also you have to go to a difficult experience just to get your package read more

My package arrived in Barbados on October 6th 2019. 34 days later it is still in DHL 'clearance process'. On Wednesday 6th November I called their branch office here in Barbados and asked when they intended to deliver my package. I was told that "all that is needed now is to work out the charges". Really? What had they been working on the previous 31 days? Discharges? The receptionist claimed I would receive a call during the day supplying a quote of said charges. No such call was forthcoming. I posted the following email to Ramon Montoya - Ramon.Montoya@dhl.com: Dear Mr. Montoya, I truly never thought I'd have to write you again much less lodge another complaint. But this is beyond complaint and way beyond a customer's gripe over one single package. One needn't delve into the throes of the Asycuda upgrade, the alleged confusion and delays caused. I'm sure you know more about it than most. But there is a reality here that cannot be erased by excuses. Short of an Act of God (devastating hurricane or earthquake), civil unrest, or widespread industrial action, there is no excuse why a package available for DHL's clearance process from October 6th 2019 - remains undelivered as of 4:PM on 6th of November 2019. If a Customs and Excise software upgrade has led to this, an upgrade that pending its introduction was widely publicized, then the management of the Barbados branch of DHL is in need of a severe personnel cleansing. Please do not accept excuses. All stakeholders were pleaded with to literally get their houses in order. But don't take my word. Review the BGIS website and literature it released. Look up what was published in the Nation Newspaper. Or simply call your equivalent colleague at FedEx and asked how they fared. My humble package is not a 40' container of assorted goods shipped from AliExpress. This morning around 9:00 AM I called the local head office after reviewing the trail of updates re. waybill ######## on dhl.com . I was told that all that was needed at this point was for the 'charges' to be determined and that I would receive a call during the course of the day. The call never came. However, the receptionist lingered unnecessarily after my response was a polite 'OK'. She seemed to anticipate a rant. I disappointed her. Perhaps I've disappointed you also. In that event, at least I cannot be faulted for being inconsistent. (Struck from this e-mail to avoid confusion, was a paragraph which mentioned a legal expression strictly for the value of its literal meaning). Kind Regards. No response was forthcoming from Mr. Montoya. If DHL had functioned like this in the USA or Canada, what percentage of the courier market would they be left with? read more

Find another courrier. People at the local office were rude and kept arguing my package was delivered to an apartment number that did not exist. 5418 which was clearly on the label is not the same as # 5. Finally they told me the driver will call me back and attempt to retrieve the package wherever they dropped it and not never happened. When you call, the call goes unanswered , sometimes they hang up on you and will say anything to get you off the phone when you're finally able to talk to someone. These people had my blood pressure off the roof. I finally called the 800#. They weren't rude and pretended to care. But they give you the run around too. For two days I called and they always scheduled a call back in two hours and that never happened. DHL sure knows how to screw you up. Never again!!! Not a company that I will do business with ever. read more

This Company is expensive and very unreliable Their customer service sucks . Not sure how they manage to remain in business if If i had a choice would never use them again read more

Please DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES unless you want get in trouble! It's the worst company I have ever saw in my life. Their services, their location, their customer service rep, all stuff at South Boston location including manager - ARE AWFUL!!! What else do you need to stay away from this kind of company which for some reason called "delivery services"??? Looks like this company is stuck between 19th and 20th centuries. My suggestions is just use FEDEX or UPS, even USPS is much better then DHL. It's my first and last time I have ever use NOT "DELIVERY" BUT THEIR GARBAGE SERVICES!! read more

Always delivered to a wrong place, the worse customer service I've ever had before. Don't want to waste time with them. They are the worst!!! read more

I just got screwed by DHL. A package sent to me using Next Day Delivery was supposed to arrive Thursday, i need it for Friday but now i will have to wait until Monday "between 10am to 8:30pm". Is there anything less than one star? read more

The review refers to the Boston office and not DHL in general. I had a hell of a time in having my parcel delivered. They came once and left no door tag. I meanwhile contacted the sender to have the shipment number, which I used to reschedule the delivery by phone. We agreed on day and time . However, despite I was at my place, they did not show up, did not leave either the parcel or a door tag. Upon my complaint, the customer service refused to schedule another delivery and asked me to pick up the parcel in person - a 30 minute drive in both directions. The situation was resolved by the intervention of a supervisor from Arizona, whose email I found online. read more

I wqs pretty disappointed that they would not let me change delivery location and insisted that my only option was to pick up my package at their E St location in Boston. Unfortunately, that location doesn't open until 10 am and is only open Monday through Friday. The service representative who spoke with me could not have been more rude. read more

As soon as the woman found out I am shipping to Iran, she said "we don't ship to eye-ran. It is an embargo country". I called DHL's customer service and was told that indeed I CAN send a document to a private individual in Iran, but that they have no control over their branches and that the branch might have a separate policy. What? The awful woman decides which countries to embargo on her own? Amazing! went back and confronted her. She remained defiant. The guy working there was useless. read more

DHL picked up my order much earlier than the timeframe that was given, and the guy who was supposed to pick up my package lied and said he was here during that timeframe. They rescheduled the pick up for the next day, and that morning they dropped off the labels, and an envelope. I specifically had asked for a box and gave the exact dimensions, so I called to make sure they brought it when they came to pick it up in the evening. When the pick up guy came, he denied that I had asked for a box, and refused to give me one. I told him to get the box after I called the office and made sure that was I asked for. After he went to get the box from his car, he still refused to let me use it, and made me use the box I had (which had a lot of other labels on it-- i didnt want to delay the delivery and have them send it somewhere else). What kind of a service is this?! Such rude employees who aren't doing their job right and arguing with the customers. Never using DHL again. Go for UPS. read more

I do not know why these guys have such terrible reviews. I use DHL regularly to receive my packages from Hong Kong and they have consistently delivered each package courteously and on time. No complaints here. read more

This company has to be the worst shipping company I have ever encounter, first they told me they couldnt find my address listing, Then when I offered to meet them at a location to pick my package up there was no one there. Also they are unreliable because no one return my numerous calls when they said the company would call me. How could the company not have contact with the drivers!!!! this DHL company is terrible read more

Most of my family lives outside of the US so I receive international packages quite often, and I have to say my experience with DHL has been the best by far. I haven't received a late shipment in over 18 months of using them, and the peace of mind I have knowing my packages wont be lost is worth everything to me--let alone getting here ON TIME. Also, I want to recommend the service I've received, since each time I go to pick up my package at the delivery center with either Karen or Tony I leave with a huge smile on my face! In short, I would highly recommend using DHL for anyone in a similar situation. read more

DHL service is not at all good. Schedule pick up was there yesterday, till today they didn'come.Even i have called 4 times. They are keep on resheduling but they are missing the pickup. They don't know how to reach pick up person. They should question themself for what purpose they are working. I am giving only 1star because its connecting service center without any problem. read more

Customer service is a nightmare, both at this location and at the main calling center I spoke with today. The delivery driver said my business wasn't marked, causing my package to not be delivered (there's a gigantic sign in plain view). The attendant at this Boston location said they would contact dispatch and have them get ahold of me, and they never did. When I got ahold of the company main number, the attendant told me it can take up to 24 hours for a message to get from dispatch to a delivery driver (what?!). However after driving 50 minutes to get to this DHL center, the front desk attendant (who was actually pretty nice, so this wasn't a total wash) spoke directly with the driver in front of me THREE TIMES! Spend the extra money for Fedex or UPS if you can swing it, they are a pleasure to deal with even when they lose your stuff. DHL, my disdain for your unremarkably bad service cannot be accurately depicted with words that I know. Do yourself a favor and close... Or maybe hire some folks with decent communication skills. Also being personable helps... But really, if the packages could be delivered in a reasonable manner you could just hide your ill tempered customer service. Basically I won't be using DHL ever again if I can help it. read more
