I dropped in on this MMA gym a few blocks from a friends house in Copenhagen. I took Hamuza's 5pm…read morekickboxing class. Hamuza immediately recognized me as a new-comer he make me feel welcome, partnered me with a terrific partner to work out with and instantly upon realizing I didn't speak Danish, switched all instruction to English! Thx thx! These guys, Tue, and Hamuza run a quality gym! Hamuza is quick to access your punches and kicks and offer constructive feedback so you're not just out there using crummy form over and over getting simply a cardio workout -you're improving your skill set as well. When back in CPH, I'll definitely train here again!! Also not to worry if your don't have pads, gloves, etc. there is loads of gear here to use....until of course you fall hard for the sport, (and your new fitness level) and buy your own gear. :) I'm a fan.

Good stay Positives:…read moreshort walk from Central Station, restaurants, grocery & Tivoli. Loved that our room had 2 full bathrooms. Good breakfast & cocktail hour. Very good customer service. Negatives: lift not operational for part of our stay (but they did haul our luggage up to the 4th floor and offered free drinks to all until it was repaired), some wear in our room and our fridge door wouldn't shut fully, our room lock stopped working (didn't realize it was unlocked all day while away -although afterwards they did leave an employee outside our room so we could leave AND left us some gifts for the trouble). Overall a pleasant stay for us. The staff was helpful and accommodating and the location was quiet and good for transport.

The location of the hotel is very close to central station and is a short walk to the meatpacking…read moredistrict and Tivoli. The staff are friendly and helpful with guests. The wine offered during happy hour is a nice offering, and the lobby can get quite busy during this time. The breakfast is nice and offers a good assortment of items, but can become repetitive if you're staying for longer duration as the items are the same each day. The rooms are small and cozy, however the bathrooms are even smaller. The shower is directly adjacent to the toilet and is separated only by a shower curtain which will get the floors of the bathroom wet. A nice hotel option close to the train station.
