The business cards are in English and Spanish, but I got the impression the owners may be from Europe. 3 stars principally covers the minimalism of the shop, lack of Saturday hours, and English proficiency of the lady who usually is working there. There are stuffed toys on display and a few other odds and ends like mineral water for sale. It's a small space - ceilings are low, the sewing equipment is immediately behind the front desk, the fitting area is a mirror in front of the desk. You'll be visible through the store's window while being fitted, but I presume you could dart into the bathroom to change, if you request. I'm a guy trying on a few shirts - so I didn't care, and there is not really any foot traffic in front of such a small shopping center for the lookie loos. I thought my fitting was a bit brief, using safety pins instead of straight pins, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt on experience. Total cost for my shirts, was the lowest of any of the local tailors I have tried so far. So if you need basic alterations on a budget, without precise dialog with your tailor, I could recommend this store. My shirts were returned to me on time. The stitching was professional, the fit was fair and balanced. (Maybe a bit conservative, a little more taken on the upper arms would have been OK with me.)

By all accounts this is a very nice looking store with an inviting store front. I went inside and…read moreexpected to see a full scale butcher shop. This isn't one of those places! All of the meat that I saw was frozen and prepackaged. More appropriately, the discount grocery label on their signage is more appropriate! Even that's a bit of deception. I viewed their groceries prices somewhat on the up side. As I stated, this is a very inviting place! Don't get let down by the inventory! Can't judge a book by its cover!

When I couldn't quite see something due to my wheelchair, one of the ladies who worked there was more than happy to help me get a better look. My daughter and I had a great deal of fun perusing the aisles and found some really nice additions to her collections of miscellaneous collectibles The prices are clearly marked on 99.9% of the items, when I found an item I wanted that didn't have a price, the gentleman at the front knew the item and the booth it came from, astonishingly enough! Their customer service can't be beat, everyone was so nice and helpful, and you know how it's so hard to find good customer service nowadays. We also love the collection of gourmet pantry items they have... chow chow and all the different jams and butters and other delicious stuff you can't find anywhere else! My daughter and I love this place and we look forward to going back again and again!

It is a store that you have to frequent on a regular basis but the "finds" are worth your time. Beautiful high-end furniture, vanities and rugs at amazing prices. I have also bought hats, gloves, flannels, socks etc as well and the prices beat all the discount stores. This store is awesome if you like a great deal!

What a wonderful place if you're looking for bulk material at a cut-rate price. My friend whom I…read morewas visiting for her birthday; fell head over heels for this place. She sews I do not, but it was fun to watch as she went from one bolt of fabric to another. We were ushered directly into the mill and told what was for sale to the public. Of course, my friend went exploring and saw so much more that she wanted, but the staff person was nice and explained, "only this ma'am". This place would be great for school children to see how material is actually made- having never really been in an operational mill, I was impressed. The machinery was whirling and material was being rolled on these giant rolls. There weren't very many workers - perhaps they were invisible, or maybe it's all robotic, but stuff was being made and all we saw was this one worker. They also sell monogramed items for a reasonable price. Overall, it was a chocolate factory type of experience - kind of magical.
