Tried to straighten it but the socket came loose and I could not reattach it. Did want to further damage it because I am not the most cleaver D-I-Y repairman so on Monday, Susan started researching local Lamp Shops who also did Lamp repair. She found Lamp and Home Outlet in Lincolnton and we made arrangement to drop the Lamp Off. First a bit about the Lamps, the Lamp was one of a pair that my wife had purchased on out Honeymoon in Myrtle Beach in what would be 28 years next month. About as touristy as you can get. Large Glass Body in the shape of a shell in turn filled with colored seashells. The value was not in the lamp but rather in the memories. On Monday, had a Dr's appointment in the am but missed the fact that their hours are 10am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday. I was working on Tuesday so drove over on Wednesday Morning. Kind of hard to miss in that it's a rather in descript build painted blue and grey with a Marine Motif. The gentleman took one look at it and exclaimed, "I haven't seen one of these in years" and explained that the company who made the glass shell had been out of business for well over 10 years. Gave us two estimates depending on what needed to be done and both were reasonable. Susan followed up on Monday and it was ready and the total repair cost was $30.00. Note that only take cash or checks. No Credit or Debit Cards. Picked it up this morning and they did a beautiful job. The have been in this building for 47 years and they were the original owners. Looking over the showroom, great selections of lamps and accessories at very reasonable prices. Good craftsmanship on all. Will be back when we have more time to explore and pickup a lamp or two. Very punctual and very honest in their dealing. Those are traits I appreciate.

The MAN that answered the phone made me feel like i wasn't worth the time or day and my money wasn't good enough. Talk about ($$) amount of money. But I won't to Thank this MAN or person who decided today i will Lose the company or his company business bc it's the right thing to do. After sales process and signed contracts everything seemed unprofessional and disorganized. I…read moredon't see how this is a professional business focused on sheds. The sales process was easy and Joe was very nice and understanding. We scoped out the project in April and let him know that we wanted to get everything on the property in order and would reach back out once we were ready to order. He kept us informed of promotions, but was not overly pushy about ordering right now or contacting us often like other sales companies tend to be. We didn't have any issues with this process. However we did originally overlook the high pricing for the anchoring package ($299) as we thought it was a much more in-depth process with higher end items than it turned out to be (also later they would almost forget to even install them despite it being on the contract). Also, it seems that they changed contracts at some point recently as I paid for a leveling package but later found that the contract we were given the leveling blocks were included for free (they would later indicate we were given an old contract to sign). As far as everything post signed contracts was anything but professional. There was no line of sight to the progress of the shed in building and then after being told it was being worked on when I followed up with them directly the next day all of a sudden it was done and they wanted to deliver less than 24 hours later. I compromised by being ready within 36 hours of the shed supposedly being done just to find out that the appointment had to be cancelled because the paint wasn't finished. Then cancelled the next business day because it still wasn't painted even though I was assured that day would work. And then cancelled again for staff conflict and then delivered later than promised on the fourth scheduled date. Upon delivery of the shed from a company that specializes in sheds we were shocked to find that there was only one worker with a small forklift suitable for moving pallets in a warehouse but not capable of lifting a 120 sq ft shed. Thus it dragged the shed down the road leaving wood markings the whole way and was incapable of placing the shed in the center of a gravel pad that was only one foot wider on all sides then the shed. In the process of delivery with inappropriate tools multiple spots on all sides of the shed were damaged. Also after all of that during the delivery the person was ready to receive payment on the contract he had in his hands without even finishing what was paid for. I had to call out that the anchors were never paced ($299 anchor package). I was back and forth between working and checking on his progress and had originally planned to had the check to my boyfriend without going outside to check the finished project. We decided to go with a professional shed company to ensure that we had a great product instead of the big box store sheds. I expected a more professional experience with the skills and specialization that a company that focuses on sheds should provide and I didn't experience that at all. At no point did I feel as if the customer was a priority in this transaction and I felt that as the customer I had to reach out at every turn to get information and to be told they couldn't follow through on their commitments and that I as the customer made all of the accommodations in this transaction which seems backwards in a business transaction. This was an extremely large purchase for us. We took the time and attention to ensure that our property was in perfect shape, leveled, gravel base, prior to signing the order knowing that we didn't want to be the hold up on delivery or make issues for your company by being unprepared. We expected the same level of attention to detail and commitment to us that we didn't experience. We have had several contacts with the company from the day of delivery and several weeks after hoping to find a resolution, but the company still has not followed through on any of their attempts to rectify the situation. We are extremely disappointed and feel that we have not received the level of quality we paid for and it's disheartening given this is such a large purchase for us.
