He instead installed a bar across the back instead of the additional frame as quoted. When I expressed a concern about its longevity, he assured me that he would fix any problems that would arise. He also told me that the wood would probably swell after the first rains, which is exactly what happened. I contacted him to come fix the fence as promised, and at first he responded quickly and said he would come within two weeks. However, that date didn't work, and then the next didn't work, and then he stopped responding to texts altogether. In the meantime, the shiplap completely fell out on the side panel of the gate, and the buckling in the planks of the gate itself got worse and then started to fall out. I've attached pictures of what I was left with. Andy does not follow through with the project all the way to its completion.

So if you are looking for good, responsive, honest company this is the one to pick

I was fairly happy with the pavers except the concrete was a little rough along the edges Left too much in the planter box I had to chip it away. Also we had to purchase some extra gray bricks to mix in with the colors and he did not mix them in very well he put them in in a pattern. We had to stop him and ask him to mix them in a little better. We also paid him to redo the wall you see in the picture. The first time he did it it was crooked we had to have him redo it a second time. We also paid him to install sprinklers for the trees on one line and put in a series of bubblers to water adjacent plants. Instead of the bubblers he said he had a better idea: the gold drip line that you see in the picture. We told them that would be okay but with a condition it's connected to other planters and we would only be running it for 2 minutes at a time. Luis said this would work great. As it turns out the drip line would work great but you got to leave it on for 20 or 30 minutes. I spoke with Luis and he said he would replace the drip system with the series of bubblers I originally wanted. Also, Luis was paid to plant the avocado tree in the picture but did not tell us we needed to water it daily for first few weeks so we set the automatic timer to water it once every 3 days. We were gone for a few weeks and came back to a dead tree. Luis blamed the grower for not telling us how to water the plant that he planted. Luis offered to pick up a new tree that we were to pay for, and replant it for $100. Now that we are ready to have him warranty his sprinkler work and replant the tree he will not respond to our phone calls or text. We have paid him in full so I guess he has no incentive to come back and finish the job.

I'm not from the area, and knew I'd need a lot of assistance and education to convert to and maintain the landscape of my dreams. To say I'm pleased and blown away by the quality of work they completed would be a drastic understatement. Our result is far beyond what we hoped for & imagined and came in on budget (although when they see it people think we spent far more!) Even before the project was complete, neighbors were stopping by to get a closer look and comment on how nice it looks. Now that we're finished, several of my neighbors have already inquired with Arborscape to initiate their own landscape redesigns with them. On top of the high quality and tremendous value, the team of staff are genuinely great people, and now that our project is over we actually miss having them around. There are a lot of options for landscaping in the area, but Arborscape gets the job done, and brings quality and experience that won't let you down. - Very competitive pricing, significantly better value than all other quotes received - Team incredibly experienced, punctual, and friendly - Lonnie is truly an expert in drought-tolerant landscaping and California-native plants - In addition to being a technical expert, Lonnie is a true artist in his design innovation and implementation, and constructs plans that are not only functional, but unique and delightful to look at - Team allowed me to be as involved as I wanted/was able, frequently involving me in design decisions, explaining concepts behind their techniques, and even educating my young son about how plants grow, how irrigation works, etc. - Familiar with SoCal WaterSmart program & requirements, able to ensure our project stayed in compliance and exceeded the requirements
