Terrible return policy. bought a 20V dewalt drill trying to help them out instead of buying from Lowes or Home depot. When returned the product that was evidently never used they would not give me a refund without owners approval because they do not accept returns on tools. Something that was not made clear upon purchase. Owner was not in store and not answering the calls. Told me to come back the next day and owner would be there. Returned and owner again not present and will not give a full refund. They want to give me a gift card for their store. Understand if I didn't have the receipt. Recommend any buyer of items at stores owned by Chandler choose this ace hardware only after you have checked lowe's and Home Depot. They are Not customer friendly. read more

I've been very happy with this store. I'm always greeted when I walk in and asked if I need help with anything. They've always found the product I needed and cleared up any confusions I have. There has only been one time I was little disappointed, but I will not use that service again. It's SO much nicer not to have to walk a mile just to get in a store, let alone traverse the rest of the building. And big box store employees generally scatter like cockroaches. If you ARE able to corner one, they don't know their stock. Ace takes me to the aisle and finds the item for me. read more

Had a 9$ refund. Stood in line at checkout - When it was my turn told I had to go back to key counter to process refund. (No signage) Stood in line at key Counter - had to wait for 2 keys. Clerk filled out a hand written card, when done told me I had to go back to checkout. Stood in line again at checkout (4 deep) Come on - it is 2021 - NEVER make a customer jump though hoops for a refund. It is your time to shine as a business ... instead you inflict pain because of stupid store procedures. ACE should investigate this franchise owner. I will go to Lowes 2 minutes down the road from now on. read more

We always want to support local business but this store doesn't care if they get or keep your business. They incorrectly order our barbecue, told us it would be delivered in a week. We had to follow up with three phone calls when we were informed it would be an additional week. Again no follow up calls... we called them again and they said it was ready and would deliver that day. They did deliver, but brought the wrong barbecue, which they took back. We were then told the item we were supposed to get was going to be an additional $100 and another week for delivery. Poor communication and very poor service. I would not recommend shopping here. read more

Terrible customer service. Most items over priced. Example: dryer cord at Ace 22.00. Price for "same" dryer plug at Lowes just down the street is 17.98. Shame because Ace is not getting the local customers they could be getting if positive change was made. read more

They tell their employees just wait until season, tell them not to call to check scheduling until Wed. Put people on the schedule only to call them and tell them NOT to come in but then tell them 2 days later they were suppose to be at work, though they were NEVER on the schedule then fire them for being a no call no show! Sounds like a sneaky set-up to me! I will keep shopping at Lowe's and Home Depot thank you!!! read more

We went in for a few items and both gentlemen were so professional and polite it felt like I was transported to the old days when customer service really meant something.Second I was quite surprised to read other reviews that were negative. Let me preface this review with saying I am a huge advocate for small businesses, and always try to shop at them when possible. Previously, I had 5 of my window screens rescreened here with minimal issues. When it came time to get a few other screens done, I thought there would be no problem. Boy, was I wrong! Here's the scoop: May 2017 I dropped off 2 screens and asked for them to be rescreened. They told me they would call when they were done. September 2017 I called inquiring if my screens were done yet. The man I spoke to said they were not done, the "screen guy" was on vacation, but he apologized and told me they would be the first ones done upon his return. October 8, 2017 I called again wanting my screens. The very snippy man told me he was working on screens that afternoon and they would be done and ready for pick up the next day. I had just wanted my frames to take somewhere else. The "Look, lady..." comment had me through the roof. October 14, 2017 I went to the store to pick up my screens, sick of the lack of service. They tried to give me 2 screens (one wasn't even mine. It was a matching claim slip, but not the correct size of screen. One was the right one, and the other was twice the size.) After waiting 45 minutes and with much attitude from the assistant manager, I said, "Please give me the frame and I will take it elsewhere." They said, that my screen was on the workbench and was going to be rescreened the next day. I asked the assistant manager for my screen to take with me home (unfinished) and he brought a similar sized, but incorrect screen plus, the frame was all bent up. I knew right away it wasn't right, because of the clips on the corners. Then, I can hear the employees talking about me over their radio system! Are you kidding me?! After all of this, I took my claim tag, and asked them to find my screen and call me to pick it up. No call yet. This is the worst customer service I have had and will never bring my business there again. read more

This store has the most helpful associates, They will do what ever it takes to get your job done right! Will never shop at Home Depot again.

i would rate my experience at this ACE Hardware with 0 stars if i could. Here's what happened. I took four screens in to be re-screened with the tighter woven "no see-em" mesh screen. First of all, neither of the two attendants greeted me although they clearly saw me enter carrying four screens. Finally, i got their attention and explained what i wanted. The male worked measured my screens and quoted me a price. I asked again to ensure i would get the tighter small weave screen. He then showed me a sample of the screen which was exactly the same size mesh screen i had! Here's the kicker...my four screens were perfectly in-tact since they essentially are new. He must have realized this yet he was willing to re-screen them with identical screen and then charge me over $100.00. Extremely disappointing as i have always been a fan of ACE and True Value's independent stores. read more

If you want help and are younger then 70 and female good luck. I was waiting to get a key made. The worker saw me and was helping someone else. I waited, he went and showed the other customer something away from the counter and then proceeded to check out every other customer and never came back to help me. Walked out and went somewhere else to get my key made and won't be back. read more
