The Shower Shop - Steam Unit Frameless Shower Enclosure by The Shower Shop

The Shower Shop ROCKS!…read more Renovating can be a nerve-wracking and costly experience. We hire the professionals to make the magic happen, and we expect the outcome to be breathtaking. We subbed out our bathroom renovation to keep our costs down. The procedure of doing it this way can be extremely tedious, but in the end we (as customers) get to pick and choose who we want to make that magic happen.  The shower glass was the last thing needed to complete our bathroom renovation; it was like the final bling, the frosting on the cake, if you will. We reached out to several glass companies for estimates and received your typical responses (if any at all). Some companies returned our call for an estimate but only after the job had already been completed by someone else (The Shower Shop), and sadly, some never returned our call at all. Most companies that did respond quoted estimates without seeing our job or taking any measurements. From the very first (and only) call for an estimate from The Shower Shop, we spoke with the receptionist, who was only too happy to schedule our visit with a professional to measure and quote our job. She asked how thick of glass we wanted, and when we told her the approximate length of glass needed, we could hear somebody in the background telling her that glass of our size should be a minimum thickness of 1/2" as not to be flimsy. We had the warm fuzzies from that moment on that The Shower Shop was going to deliver not only a beautiful shower but a safe one too! Our appointment was scheduled for the very next week for someone to come out and take measurements. We were a little taken back when the general manager himself came to our home and did the actual measuring. He didn't just pull out a measuring tape; he carefully measured our bathroom wall, ceiling, and shower ledge with a laser level, explaining every step of the way. He shared with us that although our bathroom wasn't perfectly straight or level (which no home is), our glass would be level, sturdy, and a beautiful addition to our new shower. He made suggestions that were overlooked by us and our tile installer that were appreciated. After all, that's why we hire the professionals. Our installation date was scheduled two weeks out, which was perfect because we had other things to schedule and complete before our glass arrived. Our glass was actually ready for installation just shy of the two-week date given by the general manager. We were ahead of schedule and ready for the install. The receptionist was great with communicating our appointment as well as reminder calls throughout. I get it... they're a busy company who want every job to go as smoothly as ours did, and I respect that. The crew of two arrived to install our shower glass. They were as friendly and professional as the receptionist and Gary, the general manager of The Shower Shop. Our new shower glass was installed in just under 2 hours. The results? Our shower glass was not only level, but it was sturdy and beautiful, just as we were told it would be. One thing I would like to mention is the option of having your glass treated with a protective coating by Diamon-Fusion. This protective coating eliminates the hard water spots and soap scum that tend to build up in your shower, not to mention cuts down on heavy cleaning with harsh chemicals. I'm not sure if other glass companies are offering this as an option, but no other glass company mentioned it. Both the general manager and the installers shared a glass cleaner called Sprayway that's a couple of dollars cheaper than most glass cleaners, has no ammonia, smells pleasant, and can be purchased at most any store. This glass cleaner is awesome and leaves no streaks! Overall, we were very pleased with our decision to have The Shower Shop install our glass. They were friendly, professional, punctual, accommodating, and great with communicating. They offered suggestions that only added to the beauty and aesthetics of our bathroom.  I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing glass and plan to call on them again for our next bathroom shower project! I would rate this company 5 out of 5 stars for their stellar performance and the job delivered as promised!

Pricing was competitive and initial lead time was 1.5 weeks after measuring. Unfortunately, the…read moreshower door came from their supplier damaged and the incorrectly sized half wall panel was not checked for accuracy to the confirmed 2nd measurement prior to installation . This lead to a 3 week preventable delay. Also, the 'no or minimal silicone' that sold us on them turned into silicone throughout and 1/4" silicone on the half wall sadly. would look for a local supplier (one stop shop) in the future.

ONE is saying it mildly. My husband and I went to the location at 2931 S McCall Rd, Englewood, FL…read more34224 on 7-12-24. I had purchased our new Revvl 7 5g phones online and was going to turn in our old Revvl phones and set up my husband's phone. As soon as we walked in the gentlemen that was in the front was rude and he just had a bad attitude. Made us feel like we were bother him from looking at his phone. As soon as I said about setting up my husband's phone he immediately asked for $35.00 and said if you purchased your phones online you have to pay for set up. I did not have a problem giving him the money. I set up my own phone and had a few questions that he could not answer. ONE being how could I change the gesture line at the bottom of the screen for it was just too hard to maneuver the screens in and out, He said," I could not for that this is just the way the new phones are". NOT. Had to do my own research and found in Gestures the navigation mode is how you change from the one line across to the 3-button navigation. Avery unknowledgeable employee and very unhelpful employee. SECOND I had brought in our old phones and thought we could turn mine and my husbands in at the store. He told us "We could not that we had to mail them in, that they are just a franchise not the corporate office." According to the T-Mobile website you can bring in your old phones. Again, a very unhelpful and unknowledgeable employee. THIRD I had the T-Mobile protective glass for him to put on my husband's phone and once again he said," I am not allowed to do that for if it gets messed up, I can't fix it". WHAT?? That is part of your JOB to help customers. I have had T-Mobile phones since living in Boston, MA and three years ago when we moved to Englewood, FL we turned in our old phones at this location and at that time got the Revvl 5 5g and other things. The girls who were at this store at that time were helpful, very pleasant and exceptionally knowledgeable about the products. Set up our new phone put on the protective glass and went over the features. Should we have any problems with our new phones I will be sure not to go to that location. Certainly, it needs more professional staff who is knowledgeable about what the products are and is willing to help CUSTOMERS. Without GOOD COSTOMER SERVICE stores will close for no one wants to deal with someone like this gentleman.
