When I finally called, I was told, casually, that my order was on backorder. No update, no heads up, nothing. Then, unbelievably, they scheduled an installation without mentioning that only HALF of my order had even arrived. I didn't find that out until the installers were standing in my home, ready to install a partial order. How does a company think that's acceptable? It gets worse. When I called to address the situation, the customer service was shockingly unprofessional. The woman I spoke with, Karen, was rude, dismissive, and openly irritated that I was upset. She actually huffed at me while I was explaining the issue. When I pointed out they already had my full payment, she snapped back with a condescending response about only having "half our money" as if that somehow excuses their complete lack of communication and organization. This isn't a minor mistake, this is a pattern of incompetence: missed timelines, zero communication, disorganized scheduling, and outright disrespect toward customers. If you value your time, money, or sanity, avoid Budget Blinds. There are plenty of companies out there that can at least manage the basics, this clearly isn't one of them.

Joan knows the product line thoroughly and walked me through the pluses and minuses of of the large electric blinds I wanted to install. She's not just a sales person, Joan is really there to ensure you get exactly what you want, in the color and fabric that will really add to your rooms interior design. The pricing was quickly calculated onsite, and at this point you'll need to put down 50% of the final price to initiate the rest of the process. I was given an appointment time for the installer to come out and do final measurements, and a pretty firm back end for when I'd have my shades. My installer was Alex. He showed up exactly on time to do the measurements, and took his time to thoroughly measure and understand all the challenges of getting my custom size blinds right. Almost to the day promised, I was notified my blinds were done and had been shipped for installation. Initially I was put off that the final 50% was now due. I hate paying for stuff I haven't received yet, but Joan ensured me that Stoneside would do whatever needed to be done to make sure I was satisfied. My fears were unfounded. On the day promised, Alex showed up with my new electric custom blinds and spent about 5 hours meticulously installing them, asking me after each blind was installed whether I was happy with the way it looked. At the end, he helped me program the remote,e exactly the way I wanted it. He cleaned up everything and even moved all the furniture back for me. From the very beginning they rush you, make you sign something to only work with them (sketchy, red flag) and then they do mediocre work. They're going to take advantage of you and your home when you're in an emergency type situation. As immoral as they come. They messed up my bathroom tile, then made me feel bad when I asked them to do it right. As if I was asking too much when they didn't do it right in the first place? They also installed a random circular silver drain in the shower, when I asked for and ordered a square gold drain. Hello? The owner, Michael, simply chalked it up to "hiring workers that don't speak English." If that doesn't tell you all you need to know... The attention to detail and doing a decent, not even good, job is just not there. They didn't finish caulking behind the toilet or on top of the counter. They scratched the paint off of 3 doors, and refused to compensate or correct. They got dirt all over the walls and even got paint on my front door and hallway tile. They littered cigarette butts and a giant sponge (???) in my front yard. They left an entire garbage can of trash in my front yard. They even messed up my garage door, when that is an area of the house they were NOT authorized to do ANY work in. Who knows where else they were messing around while I wasn't home? When I asked them to remove the master toilet, I specifically and repeatedly asked them to cover the hole in the ground. When I arrived home two days later, I walked in to find the sewage hole completely gaping open, releasing toxic sewage fumes into my home and bedroom. Unbelievably thoughtless, careless, and downright hazardous/dangerous. They started trying to charge us hundreds of dollars at the end for things we already discussed, and then when we tried to talk to the owner, he basically said he'd just hand us over to his lawyer. He knows he is taking advantage of us, so he didn't want to discuss the money details with us. You can see in the attached videos/photos that they also threaten to take legal action against us, should we post an honest review. They don't have any basis to do so, but just want to scare customers into silence. That's why they don't have any other bad reviews on here. It's too late for me, but please, save yourself. Find another company.

Took less than 2 weeks for the new blinds to come in and he installed them in less than an hour. Can't go wrong with these guys! I will definitely use Him again if I ever need more faux wood blinds!
