DFW Premium Shutters customer service was professional from the first phone call made (spoke w/Linda). They were the second company called for an estimate. Had rough measurements for three windows, just in case they asked. They did, was able to get an estimate over the phone. This was very helpful; allowing us to assess their pricing without taking time off work to meet them. Note, was told it would be 6-8 weeks wait, so we did more research on this company and called other shutter companies. Then opted to continue next step with DFW Premium Shutters. In home measure/estimate. Candidly, the gal who came to measure, was not talkative, rather hard to pull information from her. We almost didn't proceed with the order. But the pricing was good and samples she had were good quality. Placed order, it took 6 weeks. Linda called to setup install date a week prior. The day of install, I called to make sure delivery time was still on track; thank goodness I checked, the installers were running late (1 hour - their first install that day was 19 shutters) . Be proactive, so you don't get frustrated. The Wood Shutters themselves are Good Quality; the pricing was Excellent. We are very Happy with the new look. Would definitely order from them again. read more

They deserve NO stars. This is the WORST customer experience ever. They initially committed to have a single bathroom shutter installed in 4-6 weeks; after 8 weeks and multiple follow-ups, my shutter was "ready". They missed 4 appointments in a matter of one week, each with an excuse more grand than the previous. The first excuse was they didn't have the right hinge, the second excuse was the installer got delayed at another appointment, the third excuse was the truck broke down, the fourth excuse was the installer go into an accident. On the 5th appointment, they called to apologize and offered to refund my money because the stain on the shutter was poor. Like the other reviewers have said, stay FAR, FAR, AWAY. I'm not sure if it's incompetence, a matter of they don't care, or a scam as others have said, but it was so bad I felt compelled to write my first Yelp review for the benefit of others. Don't fall victim to the attractive pricing, the old adage of "you get what you pay for" is applicable in this case. read more

They did great job! We used them for the shutters we had installed to all the windows across the front of our house. They look great! I received a quick response after I submitted an inquiry about pricing. After receiving a few other estimates, the price and customer service was better with DFW Premium Shutters. I was pleased by how diligent they were about responding to all of my questions by email. They had no problem with quoting my job a couple different ways. They came when they said they would be here, and were neat and professional. Our shutters were delivered and installed on the day they said they would be ready. I am very happy with how they turned out! We will use them again when we are ready to have shutters installed to the rest of our windows. read more

I had shutters installed at my house. We went ahead and paid them the full amount that day. We realized the following day that the colors did not match to the existing shutters. We called several times and they did not pick up the phone. Left several messages but no response. They apparently have a 'warranty' on the shutters, but if they won't even pick up the phone when you call, or won't return your call, I seriously doubt they will honor the 'warranty'. After over a month we were able to get an appointment for them to come by and take a look at the color. I had to take off work early to meet them because they said the latest they can do is 3 pm. The lady never showed up. I left 2 messages, did not get a call back. Stay away from these people. read more

DFW Premium Shutters did an amazing job on my plantation shutters! They have the best customer service of any company I have worked with in a very long time. They came out to measure my windows and give me an initial quote, came back again when I decided to add more windows to the order, let me purchase my own custom trim that they came to pick up, painted additional trim for me, and kept me up-to-date throughout the whole process! Their turnaround time was 3x faster than the turnaround time of any other company I met with! The shutters are very high quality and exactly what I was expecting. I highly recommend them!! read more

I called for an appointment to have them measure & they were on time and efficient. They had actually given me an estimated quote over the phone with my own measurements and it was within a few dollars of what was estimated over the phone when they actually came out & measured so I was happy with the consistency of the quote and felt like it was a fair price. Shutter installation went perfectly and they look beautiful, completely changing the look of my living room. I am planning on having them do more throughout my house in the future so I would definitely recommend them! read more

DFW Premium Shutters did a great job on my plantation shutters! They came out to measure my windows and give me an initial quote. I had another company give me a quote and their cost was more than twice what DFW Premium Shutters quoted me. In addition, the turnaround time on the shutters from DFW Premium Shutters was about half as long as the other company said it would take. The installation was quick and easy and the installers actually arrived early. The shutters are very high quality and exactly what I was expecting. I highly recommend them!! read more

Great Experience! On Time, Competitive Cost, Aided in selecting the right product for our home, and have a Great Installation Team! Visited their manufacturing facility in Krum, Texas prior to ordering and the entire team was very professional and focused on a quality product! We purchased their poly model and the shutters turned out beautiful and just what we wanted. Our home had many challenges; octagon windows, eyebrow windows, bay windows, and tall windows. All of the shutters for these turned out great! Derek and his team were great! read more

From the first appointment to final installation, everything was amazing! They are fast, efficient and professional. I'm not one that likes to drag out quotes, and I make fast decisions and move on. They honored this style and worked with me. I had a quote with exactly what I wanted for the whole house within 30 min. The install was professional, fast, and detailed. They were clean and other than the shutters you couldn't tell they had been here. I love this company and have referred to others. You won't be disappointed. read more

Outstanding operation all around. Derek was there right on time for the estimate, which was well below other estimates I received. The shutters took about a month to build, which they do just outside of Dallas. They then scheduled the installation. The installers were very professional and completed the installation in about 3 hours. The overall process was very simple and the shutters look outstanding. They completely changed the appearance of my house inside and out. Thank you for the professional service. read more

We are so delighted with our shutters from DFW Shutters! I called and they arrived promptly to measure and give a quote. We had 20 windows that we were considering. They quoted a very fair price and gave me a 4-6 week install time frame. They arrived within that time frame, installed the shutters, and they look marvelous!! I will be calling them right after the holidays to do the 6 windows that I had not originally planned on. Great customer service!!! read more

We recently had our new shutters installed. They are beautiful and all we hoped for! The scheduling for an appointment for measuring was successful, our order was completed in less that 6 weeks even with the addition of additional shutters added last minute. All of the staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. They are a home town operation located in Krum Texas, an American made product. We highly recommend this company! read more

Everything was just wonderful, they have great customer service, I'm very glad I went with this company. Thank you so much for my beautiful shutters. read more

We are very pleased with our new shutters. The shutters are well constructed. Derek asked us about the color match for the shutters. Luckily, we had the paint code for Sherwin Williams paint that was recently used in our house. He used the paint code and the shutters matched perfectly. We are very pleased to recommend DFW Premium Shutters for the project you may be considering. read more
