Had a recommendation from Nextdoor so I gave them a call on a Monday for same-day service to replace a touchpad on a a Whirlpool kitchen range that had multiple keys not working. I provided the part I purchased on my own. They gave me a 7-9pm time range to accommodate me. I was hesitant but I accepted. Initially it was very hard to get a proper ETA but Richard finally confirm that he'd be there by 9. He made it to the house and was able to install the new touch pad in about 25 minutes. Everything worked great and range can be used again! Minus the communication hiccups, I'm very satisfied because they came through and fixed my appliance the same day, which is what I wanted. read more

On 4/26/21, a repairman from DFW Appliance Repair replaced a pump on our washing machine. After the repairman left my house, the machine went into drain mode. A hose was not installed on the pump, and water flooded my laundry room and two adjacent rooms. Repairman returned to correct issue with hose, and witnessed the water damage to baseboards and also witnessed the cleanup efforts of myself and my wife. Baseboards are made of MDF and immediately swelled and allowed water to make contact with wallboard behind the baseboards. The company would not send out water remediation experts to assist and offered no assistance with cleanup. Three days later Sarah Aragon dispatched Richard Aragon to my house with a contractor of their choice. There is documentation of water damage (photos taken on day of repair failure) and record of agreement to make repairs by Richard. On 4/30/21, owners Sarah and Richard Aragon alleged damage was prior and refused to repair damage caused wholly by their negligence. Both have poor business ethics. Their business address is a storage unit in Sanger and a P.O. Box in a UPS store in Denton. Their real address is: 612 Chisholm Trail, Denton TX 76209. Please be very careful when selecting vendors that come into your home. I strongly recommend that you do research and hire a more reputable company. I plan on filing a petition with the courts to seek relief for repairs. read more

Highly recommend! We had an oven issue where the circuit board was malfunctioning and the oven did not turn on at all. Richard was prompt and courteous and was able to fix the same day. He even took the time to further explain the tools he used to my husband and the circuit breaker in our garage. He saved us hundreds of dollars from having to buy a new oven. I called to schedule a diagnostic ($69) for my dryer and was told the technician would arrive between 9-11. They refused to give me a quote over the phone because they said they had to see what was wrong with it first. Fine. On Monday, my husband took the morning off work so he could be home for the technician to arrive. I also rearranged my schedule so I could be home as well. At 10:45, we had not gotten the promised call that that technician was on the way. So we called, Sarah said she would call the technician, and he called and said he was on his way (he was still in Sanger) and would be there in 45 minutes. 30 minutes later we called to see how far out he was, and he said he was still 45 minutes away. Background noise sounded like he was loading stuff up. He said something about a trailer and picking up parts. At 11:45, we called Sarah and asked her if she had a legit ETA for her technician. She very condescendingly said that she could not anticipate "issues" that came up when he was on previous calls. She said something about the previous service call having rat pee so he had to clean himself up before coming to us, even though he had told us that he had to get parts and was loading things onto a trailer (so someone isn't truthful). She said he was now "on his way" and the GPS says he was 30 minutes out. We called the technician again, and he said he is STILL 45 minutes away. And also he has to get lunch, so he doesn't know when he'll be here. It's now almost 1:00. It isn't worth it for my husband to drive into work. We cancelled the diagnostic and had another company fix our dryer. Between the lack of service, condescension, and dishonesty, I cannot imagine why anyone would ever use this company for any service. read more

This company stole my mother's antique stove. She asked them to restore it, and they told us it would take eight to ten months. That was four years ago. Since then, they've repeatedly lied to us about the stove's whereabouts, given us "delivery dates" that they've missed with no response. This is a dishonest, unethical company, and you're better off doing business with literally anyone else. read more

When I called over the Christmas holiday Sarah answered the phone and was really nice and fully explained the service charge and details. Rick called the next day and I described the problem and he went to pick up parts on his way. Withing a minute he diagnosed the problem and changed out the thermostats. I could have done it for a lot less but it would have taken me forever to figure out the problem so the price and lesson was worth it. Rick and Sarah are a great couple and I'll do business with them again. read more

STEER CLEAR from this absolute nightmare of a company. First they came out and misdiagnosed my fridge saying that the problem was some kind of controller and that they will back after they order the part, a week later they said they have the part and schedule me for service between 12 and 5, kept calling to say they will be late, until they called at midnight and cancelled. Scheduled me for the next day and did the exact same thing only this time I called them at 11:30 pm to cancel since I couldn't stay up any longer on a school night. Came the next day, and said it was actually the compressor not a controller and they now have to order that part. I waited for 2 weeks then called them, they said the part was on back order and they will wait 2 more weeks before contacting LG to check on the part, so I called LG only to find that they have had already received the part from them 4 days ago, so I called my warranty company that hired them and then magically found it and schedule me for service. Again failed to show up between 12 and 5 as promised and called me to cancel at 8:45pm. Came the next day, replaced the compressor and said everything is done and to leave the fridge a few hours and it will start cooling. Fridge still not cooling, so I let them know, again wait a few more hours, Richard then texted me next day to ask if fridge cooled, told him it wasn't. He the said it maybe because he tried to update the software on the control board as instructed by LG but he kept getting "failure notification" (relevant information that should've been disclosed and maybe he could've called LG while at my home to see how to update the main board since he was unfamiliar with it instead of saying everything is good and leave). He then contacted LG and called to say that they sent him the wrong compressor and he needs to have them send a new compressor and a new board because he could've damaged my board trying to update it. LG sent him a new compressor and board. He came to install them and the fridge still didn't work. It has been a month and a half since the fridge stopped working and still no hope of having it fixed. He then contacted my Warranty company to tell them that there is a lawsuit against LG compressors so it must be that any compressor that LG sends it bad and that's why he couldn't get the compressor to work. I decided that I will try a different technician from a more reputable company even if this is done outside of warranty and I will pay out of pocket, The technician found bad soldering in the compressor that caused leaking, loose wires in the main board, also that the first compressor I received and the second were fine and compatible with my fridge and was able within an hour and half to get the fridge working; something DFW appliance failed to do in their 4 visits. I WOULD NOT recommend this company to anyone who value their time (this company doesn't) or wants something to be fixed in a timely manner and receive honest communication. Also after a month and a half of them trying and failing to fix my fridge, I was understandably trying to get them out here as fast as possible, The wife Sarah who does the scheduling told me to not call them again, because I was calling them and the warranty. read more

Richard came out to check my girlfriend's refrigerator on April 28 and charged her the $69 service call and would come back for repairs. Numerous reason for not coming back and she had to make most of the contact. Told her he would get a sub. Never heard from the sub. After myself getting involved in it, Richard said he would get his best sub technician on it. David of BBR appliance. He sets up a schedule visit between 3-7 on Jun 20. She takes off work to do this. Around 6 he calls and has to reschedule which after all of this...she tells him to forget it. DFW Appliance Repair is undependable and then gets subs so not sure how much repair knowledge they actually have. Find another. read more
