DO NOT USE AGB!!!!! They will steal your money and not fix the issue at hand. The lady who answers phones is incredibly rude and has hung up on me multiple times and now just doesn't answer my calls. I had a dryer tech come out to my house to fix my dryer. It was NOT fixed. I called back and they told me it didn't work because my dryer vent was too dusty. So I called a company out to come clean my dryer vents and they said the vents weren't even that dusty!! And in no way should that have been the cause of my dryer not working. Then I called back about getting a refund and they wouldn't issue one. I had to call my bank to get one instead. They still have yet to let me speak to a manager about this. I am so beyond frusterated and say this with my full chest, do not under any circumstances work with this company!!!! read more

The repairman, Andrei, did a fantastic job. He was efficient and quick in repairing my noisy dryer. He knew what parts to order on a Friday and was back on Monday (!) to do the repair. We didn't expect him to have the parts and come back so soon, and so there was a mixup on our part, but he was diligent and patient in trying to contact us. The cost of the repair was fair, too. I waited for days before calling for repair hoping something would happen and my dishwasher would suddenly work again. It's only a year old. So when I called I was ready for the repair right away and I found it was going to take several days to a week and last chance I called AGB and they could come out same day. My dishwasher isn't doing a good job if cleaning the top row of glasses. I called this company and they were able to send a "tech" the same day. Well he showed up in his family car, with an out of state license plate, no company uniform, and spoke with a thick accent. He had a small tool bag and turned on dishwasher. He opened the door and poured a cup of water into the washer. That was his diagnostic service. He said we need a new pump. I asked for an estimate and he started researching the web on his phone. Finding different ones he found one for $260. and another one for $400. He said with shipping charges, installation fees and tax about $500. He did not cary any company paperwork with him and was unable to give me a receipt or written estimate for replacing the pump. He said he would ask the company to email a receipt later. I had a ice maker fail on a 22 year old refrigerator. i called first thing in the morning, and expected to be told they would be there 2-3 days later. I was able to schedule a late day appointment, and was requested to send a picture of the model number. it was almost 7 when he showed up. He was polite, asked the needed questions and went to work, quickly confirming the issue. i was told the price before starting, and an hour later, everything was working again. Upon leaving, there was no mess. polite and friendly at all times. I didn't expect him to still work so late and do such a good job. Overall, very pleased with the work done, and for future appliance repair, this will be the first number i call. read more

We had an appointment for a Monday afternoon. The tech showed up on Saturday without any notice, he just showed up at my door. Since we had no advance notice we did not have a chance to clean off the ice around the door or remove any food from the freezer. We asked him to allow us time to remove the ice but he started to scrape off the ice with some metal tool. We had to stop him twice before he allowed us to melt the ice from the door. The tech was also rude to me and my wife. At one point the tech was hitting the door switch with a screwdriver, but I don't know why. He stopped when I went over to investigate. Two days later we opened the freezer for the first time since the seal was replaced and now there is more ice building up. This ice is now at a different location than before the door seal was replaced. I emailed AGB without any replies. I then called to have AGB send another technician to fix the seal. I was told that the tech who messed up the repair was the only one who serviced my area. The lady on the phone told me she would contact him to see when he would be able to come back, and she told me she would call me back. Four days later and still no return phone call. read more

When you need appliance repair, you typically do not know who to call because it is not something you normally deal with and you usually need service immediately. Our washer stopped working and we started to do some research on appliance repair companies that were within a 30 mile radius of our home. We mainly relied on reviews just like what I am providing now to narrow down our decision. Even though it was at 8 pm, we received a response back with a promise to be at our home the next day at 6 pm. We received a phone call when they were 30 minutes out and quickly diagnosed the issue, ordered the necessary replacement part, and set another appointment to complete the repairs. Again, when they were 30 minutes out, we received another call to let us know. We know many people are quick to provide a negative review, but not as quick to leave a positive review. We wanted to make sure we spent the time to leave this positive review so that anyone who needs appliance repair should consider using AGB appliance repair.
