I felt so guilty even riding the sleigh with how miserable the horses were, but another person in our group had purchased all the tickets in advance as a treat for everyone The "trail" was complete mud and rocks and the horses were working so hard they had to stop and rest every few minutes - Thankfully, they allowed them to rest, but they should not have even been operating in those conditions! The ride was painfully rough. Absolutely not worth the $50 per person! Everything was dirty slush by mid-March, but the trail is more of a track, no wooded area, not really any views. The horses were absolutely miserable - dragging a loaded sleigh thru icey, muddy riches. They have a small paddock - I wouldn't even call it a pasture. And no shelter - Yes, these horses are content to stay outdoors 99.9% of the time, but they should have an optional covered area available at least.

It's just upstairs from the Subway sandwich shop. Inside, there's all kinds of toys and things for kids to play with. From dress up and a stage, to a loft area with books and a small space-age room with black lights that makes everyone giggle when you smile. I spent probably a 1/2 hour just playing with a moveable marble track that attaches to a magnetic wall. Most of what's available in here is what you'd expect to see at a nice day care facility. This is not a kid's museum with telescopes and giant replicas of your body or animals. It's a great place for kids to meet other kids and have an impromptu playdate. There's an arts and crafts room where kids can color, cut, paint and glue. All supplies are provided. The staff is friendly and helpful but basically let you do your own thing. Expect a warm, cozy atmosphere with the smell of fresh baked bread because of the Subway downstairs.

An older woman working at the store approached my teenage daughters and condescendingly asked them if they knew not to open the toys they were looking at in order to take some of the small pieces out, inferring that they would steal them or switch them out for something more desirable. Her accusatory tone made us immediately put down our items and leave. Not a good way to do business or welcome people into your store. My kids were supervised by both parents and she should have spoken to me, or not at all. We will not be returning during our stay the rest of the week. I am sure there are toy stores in Vail and Frisco to visit where we can make a purchase and not be accused of stealing.
