ZERO star preferred. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY for any of your projects…read more Please read about my experience over the last several years BEFORE you decide on this company. This is not "ranting", just real life experience. I've been a long time customer of John's, utilizing not only his mowing services, but also other projects totaling approximately $10,000. One project was a new wood fence with double open gates. His crew, when opening the gate in June 2024, split the wood picket with the hinges, rendering the gate useless. As of today, 9-18-24, the gate has still not been repaired. He will not respond to texts or phone calls. I also paid him to re-do my round pen, using new lumber on one side and existing (useable) boards on the other. Additional t-posts were needed, which I purchased and he committed to install. When he arrived to complete another project, he didn't have the correct "tool" to put the t-posts in. The round pen project began in March 2024 - and remains an open item today (t-posts). I want to stress that I paid for ALL of these projects and am still waiting for these two repairs to be done. I also used his company for mowing services; the agreement was for every other week. It's been 7 weeks since the last mow - with no communication from John, even though I've texted him repeatedly. The last year/two, mowers would just show up, without notice. John's company started slowly, and in the last year, boomed. Glad for him, but he's forgotten the smaller customers that helped build his business. Unfortunately, I can't recommend any of his services and suggest you find a MUCH BETTER alternative, such as Beast Mowed (in Krum).

Weeds in other spots were threatening to steal my car. It was, in short, not a good look, and not something I could deal with with a push-mower. Especially as I'm coming off a bout of the 'flu and not my usual Hulkian self. Himself got back to me in less than ten minutes, and within another ten, we had a time (some time after noon) and a price set up. At 12:20, The Knight arrived. It took him just over an hour to beat back the dragon that was my yard. It looks amazing. Even my vegan, marathon-running perfectionist neighbor with the solar-powered leaf blower will be impressed. And it cost $85, which was about half what the next cheapest estimate I got was. I don't know if he knew I was home (flat on the couch, see "flu," above) but he sent me "after" pics anyhow to let me know it was all done. 10/10, highly recommend.

I paid for a service that was not completed satisfactorily and ever since, I've been trying to get in touch with a manager at Chorbie, Chad - the Account Exec on my home, and anything to assist. I've sent multiple emails and left several messages and call backs over the last 4 weeks and I've received zero response. It's incredibly unprofessional to ignore a paying customer, especially when the work delivered didn't meet expectations. Also, Chorbie has a fake "referral program" where you can refer friends and receive $50. Well, a month ago, right before my issue began with Chorbie, I referred two family members, both of which signed up with Chorbie, and guess where the referral credit is...nowhere! I feel all Chorbie has done is take my money and disappeared, but I'll be sure to have my referrals leave with me. Save yourself the stress - look elsewhere for a company that stands behind its work and actually communicates with its clients when a mishap happens.

We admired and enjoyed the results at the beginning but our service lately has us wondering what will be wrong next time. We received our treatment on May 15th and I was not pleased with the service. I called once I was able to review the treatment and got an automated message that suggested I send a text to the number I called. I sent a text with photos and did not receive a response. I called again and got the automated message. To this day no one has contacted me. I saw no evidence of fungicide application. The fertilizer application was very spotty. I attached pictures to the text message showing large areas of the yard where no fertilizer or fungicide was visible. Someone must have received my messages because the technician came back and applied the fungicide but did not apply fertilizer to the areas he missed. I reviewed my security camera video, and it proves what I already knew. The technician did not cover the entire yard during the fertilizer application. His pattern was haphazard, lazy, and it is evident he does not know how to walk a yard using an effective pattern to broadcast fertilizer. When he came back to broadcast the fungicide he over applied on the sidewalks/walkway and didn't use a blower to clean up. I am certain the technician's actions in the video would cause any reasonable person to question if this is the right technician for the job whether they are a customer or an employee. We paid $66.89 for this shoddy treatment. We don't want a refund. The lack of response and declining quality of service says enough. There is nothing to value with this service. The previous convenience of Chorbie was wiped out due to lazy applications and terrible customer service.
