They had some really gorgeous finished pieces. I was particularly drawn to a fireplace they had created using multiple glass sculptures. I had never seen anything like it before. They also had some fruit pieces and owls that my husband was fond of. They have lots of ornaments, vases and paperweights as well. We so appreciate the uniqueness and the craftsmanship of each piece. This is an actual working glass studio, so after a while we were able to see a young woman working with some glass. We have seen this many times before but it's always fun to watch someone creating. It ended up getting a little too hot for us and we had to leave, but we learned a lot before we did. They take great pains to recycle all of the glass here and use it in so many creative and imaginative ways. They also offer make your own experiences where visitors can participate in creating glass art. If you're passing through, I definitely recommend a stop here. Even if you only have a little bit of time, it's worth a quick browse of the gallery and a great way to support local artists.

I bought a nice piece of art while out of town and decided that it deserved to be custom framed. Let me start by clarifying the term "gallery" in the title; sure it has overly-high priced, tacky prints around the floor, but does that make it a "gallery?" I think not... either that or we have very different ideas of what a gallery is. Unfortunately many of the framing samples are located behind the counter, so a customer can't actually wander around and choose samples to tinker with. The matting options and colors were kept behind the desk as well, again making the decision process more difficult. The man working there wasn't rude, but wasn't exactly helpful either. They do have some unique options for frames though, which was nice. My other complaint is that there was a two week waiting period before I could pick up my order. Typically I don't mind waiting for a good product, but when the pick up date rolled around, I called the store and my order still wasn't ready. Ugh! I may end up taking other pieces here to get framed in the future, but not because I want to (more because of the lack of other options). Am I satisfied with the results? Sure, but I'm still going to search for something better.

Picked another since I paid him cash up front (my mistake). Called a couple weeks later to see if it was ready. Told it would be ready "next week". Went in a couple weeks after that and it was ready to pick up - NO PHONE CALL AGAIN from him. Obviously he has NO idea of how to run a business. I won't ever go back.

They completely judged Us by our appearance, and told our friend that we were not welcome to come back and that they had debated on calling the police on us while we were there. This really took me by surprise since I thought we were pleasant and respectful. I was very careful about how I touched anything, and I even left my umbrella by the door. I'm not really sure what brought this on other than just judging a book by its cover. I will probably not return to that store. Even though there were a few items I was very interested in. So as much as I would love to give them a four or better, star rating, because of their behind our backs attitude I'm only giving them a two.
