I went to another florist because I wasn't in the area and wanted to save time, and I'm about to throw that sad excuse for a bouquet in the trash. There are too many good things to say about this business. My husband and I were going to get married in Canada and Devynn's Garden created a beautiful bouquet so i could send pictures to our florist in Canada and I could use for pictures here. very convenient locations off PCH beautiful best fresh variety flowers and they sell plants and dried or preserved plants very high quality very boho cute gifts and hand made cards they carry my favorite candles at reasonable prices. everyone here is knowledgeable and friendly they are our local florists the owners are pretty nice people florist Mandy and Jeff at juice bar all very fun to be acquainted with. I have been going here for 10 years. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, staff professional and fun. The flower arrangements are unique, fresh And in style. I have been enjoying the attached smoothie bar , California dream is my fav. If you're looking for nice flowers this place is great. If you're looking for reasonable customer service, maybe not so much. I got to the shop about 4:00pm and wanted to order a small arrangement to be delivered to my girlfriend who works literally around the corner. I didn't want to take the flowers to her personally, I thought it would be a more random surprise if she didn't see me there. However I was told "We're done delivering for the day". I asked "Well the place is literally right there." A 2-minute walk TOPS! The response "Sorry our drivers are all gone for the day." I've purchased flowers from Devynn's at least 20 times. I mean I understand that there's a protocol and maybe I should have called in my order earlier, but if you are not willing to go on a 2-minute .10 of a mile walk for one of your customers then i'll gladly start going elsewhere. read more

For every birthday or special occasion, my boss always orders flowers from this Seal Beach location. The quaint shop with an abundance of different flowers to choose from. Excellent service from the staff. They always have a quality product... and IF for some reason something doesn't turn out the way you want it to, let them know and they'll change or replace to bring the arrangement to Devynn's Garden standards. Because of my boss' recommendation, I called the shop with a color preference and price point 2 hours before pick up and amazed at the arrangement they created. My scouting started at our neighborhood Ralphs because I had received flowers from there on Mother's Day, so I asked the attendant there to show some flowers for graduation. She wasn't much help, stating that she had some spring bouquets that may be satisfactory. I was so unimpressed that I just took a peek at what she pointed out to and thanked her and left. I went to Devynn's because it has been in Seal Beach forever and I always see it when I go to the Yucatan restaurant on the same block. I wanted something special for my daughter's graduation and I knew that they could do it. You can tell a lot about a shop that has fresh flowers for show in front--at this location and in Sunset Beach! The flowers out there always impress me because they are consistently put out there quite neatly. The colors are so vibrant that it's reminiscent of a meadow full of flora and fauna. Ahh, you really have to bask in the delight of it all:) I ordered the day before I needed to pick up my arrangement and I wasn't disappointed when I picked it up at 5:30pm as requested. I picked the lesser priced bouquet compared to the ones I saw on display but they arranged the bouquet so beautifully I didn't notice the size at all--it was perfect! I told them that my daughter loves purple so that I wanted the majority of the flowers to be purple. They asked class color and school color and added it in no problem! The colors were purple, blue and orange and hopefully you can appreciate the colors in this bouquet in the photo I provided for you here! My daughter beamed when she saw the bouquet and everyone who saw her that day said how her hair which had a purple tint in it matched the bouquet quite nicely! Oh and my budget allowed for $20 and the price came up to under $30. That's about $27 and change. Not bad! I think if I had asked for under $20, say $15 I still wouldn't be disappointed. They make flowers per your budget and I really think they would never disappoint anyone. Over a weekend, I had my dear friend's mom pass away and I wanted to get flowers to her the same day. Unfortunately, the soonest available day for Devynn's Garden to deliver wasn't going to be until Monday. I was bummed and started looking at other flower delivery companies for same day delivery. I wasn't happy with the arrangements they had to offer. So I went ahead and placed an order online with Devynn's. I put a note on my order asking, if at all possible, to deliver sooner than Monday. I wasn't expecting anything, but it couldn't hurt to ask. Well, to my pleasant surprise, I get a text from the recipient thanking me for the gorgeous arrangement she received the SAME DAY!!! I first heard of Devynn's Garden when someone from my office had purchased an arrangement here for our boss's birthday. I had never seen an arrangement like it before. It was exotic, fresh, modern....just all out gorgeous! I've purchased arrangements here for my mom (birthdays, mother's day, etc.) And all of them have been beyond beautiful! The arrangements here look nothing like ones you'd get from those online floral delivery establishments. I never thought flower arrangements could have such feng shui. All of the arrangements elegantly reflect the beautiful attributes of each flower used. The florists are very nice and exteremely helpful. They can create custom arrangements for you if you don't find anything you're looking for in their refridgerated cases. The flowers can be quite pricey, especially during peak holidays (Valentines, Mothers Day, etc.) but I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for". Spend $50 here for a smaller bouquet/arrangement and you'll get 10x greater quality than if you were to get an arrangement from 1-800-Flowers or Conroys. And whoever you're purchasing them for will have a wider smile and a warmer feeling receiving flowers from Devynn's. :) read more

I ordered a flower crown and a custom garland lei for graduation and paid over $200 for the 2 items. I specifically asked that the lei not be too long since I am petite and when I picked it up it was in a plastic where we could not see how long it was. When opening the plastic I found the lei was touching the ground draped over my shoulders and it ended up unraveling on one end not even half an hour after I put it on. For the amount of money I paid I felt like there weren't enough flowers in the lei and they filled it with so much green filler. Really disappointed with my experience here. read more

I love this place. I honestly wish there was another awesome place to pick up a unique bouquet closer to DTLB but there isn't and these ladies rock. Always a great assortment of stems. They will put it together for you or just grab a couple and get creative on your own. That's what I usually like to do. For a big-ass gorgeous arrangement with vase I can get out of there for $60. I think that is decent when you compare it to the big guys that give you nothing unique like Conroys etc. I will always drive down this way to make a bouquet to make someone smile. read more

This is the best and only florist I go to now! I just moved to the area and I would drive past this cute little flower shop and see all the beautiful flowers outside and one day I just decided to pop in. Everything is gorgeous! The way its laid out makes you feel so relaxed. Its the ideal flower shop! I had them make me two custom arrangements and picked some colors I liked. About $ 35-40 each was the price range I chose and they looked amazing! I had them in my bedroom and one downstairs in my living room. I got so many compliments from friends and family that came over. I really enjoy having fresh flowers and plants in my home so I come here about every two weeks or so. They're always helpful, friendly and their prices are very fair. I love that the flower arrangements look very upscale and would never be confused for something you find at a grocery store or conroys ( just don't go there). The service is fantastic too. The lady (I forgot her name brown hair, beautiful light eyes) she works behind the counter and makes the best custom bouquets. If and when I give someone flowers as a gift I know this is the only place ill go. read more

After coming to this realization while standing in the middle of the shop with the florist, she quickly whipped me up a fresh bouquet and called the other store to notify them of the confusion. Sure I could go to Vons, Costco, or Conroys for my flowers but why the hassle of dealing with crowds or lack of selection when you can go to Devynn's Garden where they have everything I need. The prices are reasonable, the selection is spectacular, the service is top of the line, and just walking around the shop makes me happy. Living in Seal Beach, all 3 S. CA locations are very geographically desirable for me but I am particularly fond of the Seal Beach location right on PCH. The selection is top of the line and constantly changing based on the seasons. Being family owned, the service is outstanding and very personal. I particularly like to use them for deliveries to my wife's work on that special occassion or when I need to make a good deposit in the relationship if you know what I mean. I am not terrible in touch with what to select for my wife so I simply ask them to make the selection and they also come through with flying colors. read more

Very disappointing service. Went in there to buy greens and flowers to decorate bi monthly pop up dinner party for very high end clientele. Unfortunately the older lady and younger girl duo working were too busy distracted socializing with one another and a friend/ customer on the other side of the counter to acknowledge that I was there. I've used Devynn's Garden in the past and honestly loved all their arrangements but unfortunately today was different. I placed an order for delivery yesterday. It was a sympathy arrangement for a friend. The woman who took the order asked what kind of colors I wanted and I explained just whites/greens and if they have a sunflower to use it because that was a special sentiment. She confirmed that they did have sunflowers. Today I received a text from the recipient who thanked me for the flowers. When I responded I told her I specifically put a sunflower for her mother. Kinda awkward to see the photo with no sunflower. When I called to see if there was a mix up in the order the person who helped me said "oh ya I took that order, guess I didn't put the sunflower in, my bad." Devyn's is by far the best florist I have ever been to. The flower selection and service is unparalleled. I've been many times over the past year and a half and have always walked away with a beautiful bouquet or arrangement with exotic flowers and fillers that you can't find anywhere else. The florists are very skilled and artistic and are best with just an idea or theme and allowed to work their magic. My fiancee, of course, loves them as well.
