I was only in town for a few days, but quickly became obsessed with Devynn's Garden. What a special business! I was fortunate enough to stay at a hotel nearby and was able to walk by Devynn's daily. The beautiful array of flowers outside, lured me in to discover that the inside of the shop also has so many other cute little gifts. I ended up purchasing two arrangements here in just three days to gift to family and friends that I was visiting. The first arrangement I picked up from a selection of pre-arranged, handheld bouquets. But the arrangement I picked it, was a fun selection of single stems that I gravitated towards based on the friend that I was assembling it for. I picked up a few distinctive exotic stems and then sought out some help to really fill the rest of the bouquet out. The person working at the time, asked me what my ideal price range would be in total for the bouquet and once she had that established, helped me pick out a bunch of fillers. The bouquet ended up gorgeous and so unique! Honestly, just walking by everyday brought me joy but experiencing great customer service and walking out with some people bouquet and arrangement made my day each time. Update: The owner (Cyndi) reached out to me and provided us a full refund. I gained respect for her for doing so. I want to keep my review up because I still stand by what I said. What happened to us was ridiculous and affected our Valentine's Day. The owner seems to be an honest and understanding person. But the store workers aren't kind. Awful customer service causing an honest business to lose customers. DO NOT GO HERE. STAY AWAY. My boyfriend walked into the store today grabbed 12 roses from the water bucket and the lady told him it would be $19 dollars. When he got to the car he received an alert on his phone from his bank that they charged him $94 dollars. He immediately went back asked for a refund and they refused to give it to him. They only offered him store credit when he explained to the lady who JUST checked him out that there was a miscommunication, she still refused. He walked out from purchasing the flowers just 3 MINUTES AGO. How could you not give him a refund??????!!! Take the flowers back and give him his money back. Their actions make ZERO sense. I was shocked when he came home SOAKED from the rain and extremely sad about the situation. All he wanted to do was get me flowers for Valentine's Day. We couldn't afford anything fancy this holiday. I just told him this morning not to get me flowers but he just wanted to get me something and this happened. I called the store asking for a refund myself and they still refused. I asked for the owners name and Information and they told me they don't handle the customer service. Well David and Cyndi I am disgusted by the way your store handles business. It's a beautiful flower shop with a little coffee shop inside. I will say however that there were several employees working in the flower area when we walked in that didn't greet us or ask if we needed help the whole time we were there. The girl in the coffee area wasn't too cheerful but we were, so she was polite enough. I still give it 5 stars because it could've just been that they were busy with flower arranging or discussing orders or business for the holidays when we came in. Devynn's Garden is hands down, the BEST flower shop in the area! I usually go to the location on 2nd Street in Belmont Shore, but that shop is still closed at this time, although restrictions were just lifted this past Friday. Very strategic of Gov. Newsom to lift this restriction, just in time for Mother's Day! This location is almost twice the size of Belmont Shore's, so of course, they have significantly more in quantity. They were well prepared for this busy weekend, with all staff on deck and fully stocked plants, flowers and bouquets. What makes Devynn's outstanding is the variety of flowers they supply. Aside from the common daisies, roses, lilies and carnations, they carry a lot of tropical and rare plants and flowers like proteas, birds of paradise, ginger lilies, dahlias and chrysanthemums! The folks there are so creative and friendly. They make some of the most beautiful arrangements and are always willing to lend a hand if you'd like to customize your own. I really enjoy selecting flowers that remind me of the person I'm buying for and they make it even prettier by adding greens and their finishing touches. If you'd prefer a potted plant rather than cut flowers, they have plenty of those, too! It varies depending on the season, but ivies and succulents are almost always available. The flowering plants in season right now are orchids, dahlias and hydrangea. You can find free street parking on PCH or the adjacent residential streets nearby. I guarantee you will find something you love for a loved one, or yourself! read more

I came here looking for a bouquet of roses for a birthday. Specifically, stargazers. I'm not sure if it was because the time of the afternoon I came or whatever the reason, they had relatively nothing outside on display. I walked around the inside which shares the space with the next business over. No one offered to help me and there wasn't that much setup inside either. I was about to walk out when one woman did eventually stop what she was doing to ask me what I was looking for. Eventually, I got a premade bouquet with stargazers for about forty dollars. Long story short, we attempted DIY wedding flowers, and it fell short of expectations. On the morning of the wedding, the bride's bouquet was falling apart and wilting terribly, causing great distress. In the midst of this looming wedding disaster, and with the original bouquet shedding petals right and left, we sought out the help of an experienced florist. With only several hours to spare before the first look, Devynn's Garden managed to use photos of that wilting sad husk, and reimagined a brand-new bride's bouquet that perfectly fit the original theme. The bouquet brought the bride to tears, which she quickly had to suck back in before photos so as to not ruin her makeup. The bouquet was perfect and now a week after the wedding still looks quite lovely on the dining room table. We will remain forever thankful to Devynn's for saving the day. read more

Ordered some flowers for my grandmother-in-law from this place. The process was super easy and she was overall pleased with them. The cost is comparable with other places, although a bit on the higher side. They called to let us know that she wasn't answering the doorbell and asked us where we would like her to place the flowers. It definitely gave us a sense of reassurance. It would be even more awesome if they took a picture of the flowers there and emailed it to us, as I know some florists do that, but anyhow, would definitely consider them in the future. read more

This is the cutest flower shop ever. We live close by and I have been meaning for a while to go in there with my man. In November we went to an 80s prom party and the day of the party my man went there and asked if the had any corsages. He actually went somewhat close to closing time, about an hour and a half. She asked him to come back before they closed to pick it up. Without him even asking her she told him when he picked them up that she made them with an 80s style. So we went two weekends ago because I wanted to adopt more succulent children....and hopefully keep them alive. I picked a mother of pearl succulent, banana succulent, and some other tiny succulent baby. The two girls that helped me were very sweet when I asked about how often to water them and how not to kill them. I definitely don't have a green thumb but they gave us positive encouragement that we could be great plant parents. The inside of the shop is much bigger than I expected. They also sell coffee and some other lighter meals that I'm excited to try next time. If I need to buy a gift for a plant person I will come here because they have some beautiful pre-planted succulents. Not only do they sell plants but they have other pretty gifts or and the displays are great ideas for home decor. We will for sure keep coming back for more plant babies and gifts. read more
