Their materials were bad, the workmanship was bad, they only did some of the work I contracted for, and I had to threaten to take them to court before they offered a settlement. As part of the settlement, I had to sign a non-disclosure agreement, so I can't mention their name. Loftus was a wonderful company to do business with. I have used them twice and will use them again in the future. Jess was great to work with. This time, I had 3 rooms of new carpet, one repair where a dog had ripped up and shredded a seam, and a bunch of cleaning of existing carpets. The new carpet was high quality, and installed perfectly. The repair was so good that it is impossible to know that there was ever a problem. The cleaning turned out better than I expected. All of the workmen were super polite and did excellent work. You might save a few bucks with one of the national discounters, but in the end you will wish you had gone with someone like Loftus.

She really knows her stuff. I was extremely nervous about the installation, but there was no reason to be. They showed up an hour before expected even and were so extremely friendly and polite. They worked around my furniture I couldn't move out of the room and left my place spotless when they were done. Couldn't be more thankful for their help. Really glad I decided to use Loftus over the big home improvement stores. (By the way, I thought it would be a lot more expensive to use Loftus, it was the same as the home imprudent stores, just with much MUCH better customer service and communication). The material/rug came out beautifully; however, it was Milan that will bring me back to Paramount Rug, in Hyannis, for our kitchen/hall floor replacement needs (after the cabinets are installed). The stain on my carpet looks much worse after their treatment (see attached before and after photos…read more-- yes, the bad one is the after...) They refused to refund my payment. They don't have expertise in rug cleaning - the reason I hired them instead of doing it myself was because I didn't know how to clean my delicate wool rug without damaging the fibers. Turns out they don't either. It's harder to see in the photos, but they destroyed the fibers in an area much larger than the original stain. I should've known it would be trouble when they came back a second time telling me that they picked up a cleaner that "Home Depot recommended." I told them all I wanted was a refund (I could've threatened them with small claims for destroying my rug.) They refused, so here we are. 1 Star.
