This place has become a family tradition--it's such a staple! I love that they theme the farm for different seasons; they have a pumpkin patch and Halloween decorations for (you guessed it) Halloween. For Christmas they bring out their Christmas tree farm, all types of Christmas decorations, a Christmas gift shop, and more! They even have s'mores kits for the family if you go at night! I didn't stay long since I wanted to enjoy it before it got too packed--at night they have lights and even more photo ops. There's many, many activities to do for the family (I could go on, but that would be a looong list. One of my favorites about this place is that their prices are fairly reasonable, it's a little way out of San Antonio, and they even have a petting zoo where you can feed goats or cows!! Lots for the kiddos to do from fishing, paintball shooting at festive Dino's, the various play grounds, jump pad and soooo much more. My kiddos didn't want to leave. Going on four years now with a trip out to Devine Acres for their fabulous pumpkin patch - a wonderful and cherished tradition with family and my love. We usually always take it upon ourselves to visit every activity, every Exhibit, and all areas that are picture worthy. Recently attended the fall country fest this past Saturday. Loved it! The flow of the farm with activities, food, drinks was perfect. It's a huge space with plenty of activities ranging from jewel mining, fishing, pumpkin paining, crow balloon throwing, flower picking, and those are just the activities that cost extra on top of admission. They also offer free activities like barrel rides, bouncy area, mazes, and playgrounds. Tip for pumpkin painting leave pumpkin to dry at your own risk. Someone stole our pumpkin I guess they thought it was cute too. 2 tips for improvement. 1) It would be nice to have 2 separate entries for those who purchased online in advance and one for those who still need to pay because line was lengthy to get in due to only having 1 admission like but I understand that this place is family owned and may not have the staff for that. 2) There was a mix up between paid activity stands as to where tickets were supposed to be purchased we were told 2 different things and it wasn't clear as to where exactly we had to purchase. These were minor things that could be overlooked and we still enjoyed our time. Can't wait to come back around Christmas time! read more

This place was absolutely fantastic! It's much better than the other one near San Antonio city limits that we've been to in the past. It's much better if you have kids, this place has a lot of free activities. Two large play areas complete with slides, swings, a large person sized chess set, a rock mining area, marshmallow melting fire pit, tricycle racing, and many others. They had hot cider and cocoa, you can buy food and drinks, ice cream, miniature loafs. There's a cute gift shop with lots of ornaments and nice things and toys for kids. There's two huge areas to pick your trees from, they provide the saw for you. After you cut it down, you leave it in a covered area, where they will bring it to the front on a 4 wheeler and will even load it on your car for you. We totally recommend this place! read more

We attended Saturday's Easter event. Overall, my family had a wonderful time. There were plenty of activities for the kids to do. Our favorite activities were the barrel train, the bubble station and playgrounds. A place for improvement is the food. The food was overpriced for the quality and quantity. The hamburgers were an hour wait so we ordered something else. We ordered the pepperoni personal pizza and the overcooked chicken fingers with fries. There was only one location to order food so there was a long wait time to get your food. There's an Ice cream shop, beverage stands and coffee and donuts shop. The farm is not wheelchair accessible since most areas are not paved. They have portable toilets. The employees I interacted with were very friendly. It's a nice place to be outside during the spring time and cooler days. read more

We had an outstanding time. From cocktails to food, to inexpensive items in their shop, to beautiful photo op displays. Something for all ages, children to adults. Even got into the paint balls, and other activities. Staff was very friendly, and accommodating. Everything was in the great price range. Plenty of parking, and large amount of trees to buy. Looking for a fun farm to visit? I definitely recommend visiting this farm! It has expanded sooo much over the past few years! This farm has been open for many years and as the years go by they continue to expand! If your looking for something fun to do with the kids around the holidays especially then this farm is a MUST! The fee to get in is low priced and there are so many fun things to do with the kids! You won't regret it! They have holiday specials like the pumpkin patch in October and Breakfast with Santa in December. There is always a live band playing. This farm is huge so make sure your wearing the right shoes and ready to get your cardio in. In December your able to purchase a christmas tree as they grow their own! They have everything you can possibly think of. You can feed the animals, go on a hay ride, play games, and much more. The gift shop is one of my favorite areas here! They have fresh homemade jam ready for purchase and fresh breads as well as other baked goods. Cute items for your home as well! They also have a food stand which is very good! We went for the first time yesterday. Overall it was a fun time, mainly because our autistic daughter had fun. On that note, we bought her the $6 bag of mixed gravel/dirt and gemstones and kids can use the farm's water thing to "shift" for the gemstones. The idea is cute but the bag we received had a only few "gemstones" if you want to call them that. A couple were obvious gemstones (my daughter has always been a fan of learning about the different types) but some looked like plain rocks/little pieces of rocks. We saw kids finding red, blue, yellow, pink stones. All ours were in the white/gray/black category and there were only about ten. She was disappointed about that. Also, we bought our tickets online so $12 instead of the gate's $16. Given most of the activities are for little kids leaving parents to just stand back and watch, I'm not sure why parents should be charged the $12/$16. In the end, as long as she had fun, that's all that matters to me. read more

Only open a few times per year: fall fest/pumpkin patch, winter/Christmas trees, and spring/easter egg hunts. A short drive from the city of about 30/40 minutes this is a great weekend adventure for small kids. Purchase the groupon online for admission to save some money, around $24 for a family of 4. This farm has so many different things to do many of which are included with admission. They also sell punchcards where the kids can pick the extra activities that they want. It was $15 for a punchcard that includes 8 activities. Catch and release fishing, a tractor ride, egg hunt, bird house painting, feed for goats/ducks, and mining for treasure just to name a few. Different playgrounds, mazes, and games that do not require a punch card. The farm is incredibly well kept and clean and the people working here very friendly. A great time! read more

If you're looking for pumpkins this isn't the place. They do have pie size pumpkins which cost $5 each. If you have kids I recommend paying the extra $15 at the Dotty Depot which is a package deal that includes a free pumpkin. This was a fun trip, especially for the family. They do have 40 different activities that come with your admission. We ate before we got there so I don't know how the food was. Their gift shop is small but have some interesting things in it, my wife but 3 items. We did enjoy ourselves and the drive from San Antonio was worth it. read more

Its always amusing to read peoples reviews who also take advantage of groupons and deals similar. My best friend and I are always quick to find a patch to take seasonal pictures every year and jumped on the one we found for DAF. It was quite a drive from our neck of the woods, but well worth it. the pumpkin selection was perfect for our under 5 children and there was tons of things for them to do. They enjoyed the duck water troughs and animals. I wasn't too impressed with the hay rides as it was basically very slow and very informative. I definitely saw a lot of Christmas trees and can't blame them from multitasking their seasonal offers. Pretty much took advantage of half of the farm, maybe next year we can take advantage of the other half. read more
