Well what an amazing experience I had with door systems of montana! It was all smashed and caved in and the rollers popped off. I was lucky it didn't fall on my car. I did manage to mostly close it, but I thought it was totally ruined and unfixable. The next morning, in -20 degree weather I called the two main places in town, one of them being door systems, and ended up having the most awesome conversation with Bob, who is amazing and helped me so much. I paid for emergency service instead of waiting till the next week for service, and they had a guy there in ONE HOUR!! And then, to my amazement, the tech that came transformed my smashed and non working door back into a fully functional, nearly normal looking garage door again! You can hardly tell it was smashed and bent previously! Obviously it has some dents and marks and to be perfect again two of the panels need to be replaced, but damn! You have to look hard at the door to see that! I'd almost just leave it be and not spend the money to completely fix it! It's that good. I'm impressed. Anyway, I'll probably get it fully fixed, but I just have to say I am very impressed with door systems, Bob, and the guy who came and fixed my door. And all this for only $165!! It's almost unbelievable for these days. I'll be doing business with Bob again!

In August, Jake with Hieb's Garage Doors visited our property, provided my husband with a quote and told him it would take three to four weeks for garage doors to come in. He asked my husband for a substantial amount down ($13,125) to cover the cost of the doors so he could get them ordered. Jake told him he was going on vacation, but he would order the doors right away and would be able to get the work done in short order after the doors arrived. My husband wrote him a check and was issued an invoice. The check cleared my husband's account shortly after. After the four weeks had passed, my husband started checking in with Jake to determine where he was on the list. Jake would provide an answer, then the next communication, would push back the timeframe again. This went on for weeks. This wasn't our first construction project, so my husband understood that there are many legitimate times when work to be completed gets delayed. He kept patiently checking in, concerned about keeping the weather out of his newly built shop. Jake's reply for his delay and when my husband could expect him to complete the work kept shifting. Near the end of October, we started suspecting that Jake's reasons were merely excuses for delaying our reaction to his inability to do the job as promised. My husband's phone calls became more frequent. Jake finally called my husband, telling him he had some bad news. Jake said he didn't have the garage doors nor did he have my husband's money. Uh. Yeah. That's really bad news! His explanation for what he did with our money wasn't rational or reasonable. Still and yet again, my husband gave him the benefit of the doubt. This guy came recommended and had great reviews. Jake promised to have a good chunk of my husband's deposit returned at the end of the week, again fluctuating on the details and how much he had on hand, when he was going to get the remainder, etc. When the deadline came, my husband called Jake again and offered to pick up any amount he could to start a payback in good faith. Jake then told him he didn't have any money and that my husband should be grateful that he did not keep stringing him along! My husband then told Jake that he wanted to be paid back in full, $13,125 and even gave Jake a few more days to do it so that Jake could obtain a loan from a family member (as he said he was going to do) On the specified date, Jake made no effort to contact my husband. Zip. Nothing. My husband then filed a report with the Cascade County Sheriff's Office Report# 24-04515) and Jake has been charged with felony theft. This is not chump change. It is money that was earned honestly by my husband and belongs to my husband. Businesses are expected to act in good faith. Deposits are not loans nor are they ever meant for someone to spend at their discretion for vacations, band tours, or whatever they feel like, willy-nilly. Even if a person thinks they can make up for it on the back end, that's not the purpose of a deposit. EVER. Yes. We are entitled. To $13,125 that Jake Hieb took and did God Knows What with. He sure as heck didn't order doors with it! My husband repeatedly gave Jake time to produce a refund on his deposit. Jake continually promised and failed to do that. Please. Be cautious where you spend your hard earned money.
