My repair was an expensive one, around $750, but given I needed a screen and casing I guess it's on par. But when they fixed it they found they needed a new bottom section, metal casing, battery etc, an expensive piece. I was traveling and they they didn't want to bother me and they wanted to homer their price so they did it for free. Wow, not very often I'm pleasantly surprised like this. Really top notch service and a good knowledgeable group as well. Don't hesitate to use this place, I can't imagine they will disappoint you.

I was surprised there was no page for them on Yelp, so I had to create it just now. The man who I believe to be the manager, Mohammed (I hope I spelled his name right), is simply amazing! My Huawei phone's battery became what I can only describe as 'pregnant' (it swellled up!) and I was worried about my phone, and clearly I needed to replace the battery. I went to a bunch of different mobile phone repair places in the Mississauga area, including two other places inside Square One Shopping Centre. The other places either quoted a ridiculously high price ($60 just to do the battery replacement), or said they can't do it at all, because they don't have the battery for it, and don't know where to get it from because their suppliers don't deal with Huawei phones, and they were so busy they didn't seem to care about my issue. I was starting to lose hope... Then I went to the Mobile Care store, I showed Mohammed my phone and its problem. He explained clearly to me what I needed to do. He told me to find and purchase a replacement battery online (such as on Amazon or eBay) for my specific phone, and he will be able to replace it for me for only $30, which is totally affordable! So I did what he said and managed to find a replacement battery. It was a week or maybe two weeks later that I went back to Mobile Care with my phone and new battery, and I couldn't believe it but Mohammad remembered me - he even remembered the exact phone I'd brought in to show him before! (This is a very busy store in a very busy mall, so I was astonished by his good memory, and it made me feel like a very important customer, you know?) So I left the phone and battery with them, and they did the battery replacement for $30 - no weirdness, no extra charges - and when I came back to get it, it was just like new, I was so happy!! I would recommend anyone with mobile phone issues to go see Mohammed at Mobile Care at Square One Shopping Centre (the store - I haven't been to the Mobile Care kiosk in the same mall yet). One thing I should mention - we were hoping Mobile Care might be able to do something about my mother's laptop computer, as it was going through the same problem (pregnant battery, lol!) - but they said they only specialise in phones, so they can't do laptops. Although disappointed, we really appreciated the fact that they are totally honest about what they can and cannot do, and they won't try to mess around with something they are not trained to do, just to get our money. Called Platinum after checking out local reviews and went to see Sam. He was able to fix everything plus in a few hours. No "two weeks it will be ready" story. All work done on premises and very reasonable. So good that I brought my new phone in the next day. Factory reset nightmare. Sat and chatted with Sam while he cleaned it up and even set it up to good to go mode. He didn't have to do that but he did. Honorable man and and an absolutely lovely guy as well. Well, the only reason I'm able to write this review is because of the successful fix of my laptop!…read moreCereal! Just wanted to put in my own experience as it was a good one. My laptop refused to turn on yesterday so I did a quick search of computer repair shops in my area. CompuMobile came up, had great reviews and was literally 2 minutes away from my home. . I walked in, was greeted right away, and the staff (I forget the gentleman's name, 3 letters, started with an A) was immediately sympathetic to the situation. He set me up on their text system, and took my computer. A couple hours later I received a call, the gentleman told me what they thought the problem was (damaged CPU) and they asked me for permission to go ahead with the repair and quoted me around $150 (which, considering my laptop is close to $1000, nevermind all the valuable info on it, is a pretty good deal). Another few hours later I received a call confirming that they have fixed it, and will stress test it over night. The next day I dropped by, a different gentleman by the name of Declan helped me. He gave me a full story to the best of his knowledge of what the issue was, how it happened and what I could do to prevent it from happening in the future, also confirming they give you a 60-day warranty in case the fix wasn't effective. Overall, very helpful and friendly staff, great communication. Will recommend to anyone to come here for phone or computer repairs. Thank you!
