They give me the authentic Chicago hot dog joint, just on the far, far, far Southside. The Chicago hot dog was authentic. Not only do they use Vienna Beef hot dogs but they use Vienna Beef poppyseed buns. That is truly legit. Also had the Italian Beef. It was good, not great, but very good. We also had an order of breaded mushrooms and onion rings. Both hit the spot. The onion rings were probably higher rated, and according to the fellas who work there, they are beer battered. And thank God they don't try to force ranch dipping with these like other spots do. Ketchup is the appropriate dipping for both shrooms and rings. Highly recommend them, will be going back. A lot.

There were so many interesting options but I went with the D & B dog. It had chili, relish, pickle spear and sport peppers. It had a nice spicy taste with a tang. I added an order of rattlesnake fries for us to split. These had chili, jalapeños, and some type of delicious spicy sauce - loved these. My wife had the "hawt dog" which had chili, jalapeños, and some sour cream. She liked it but saw a different hotdog she wished she had tried. Great lunch spot and sooo many different options.
