I had to pay over 5000.00 just for P&N to tell me that they still had not a full analysis of my case. The lawyer I spoke to was not even a real estate lawyer. I had to find another lawyer to take my case. This was an absolute waste of time, energy and money.

But looking back, I realize it wasn't his effort that fell short, it was an extremely unfair judge. Through it all, he stayed committed to my case, stood by me when I thought about giving up, and fought hard to protect me from making mistakes that could have hurt me in court. What impressed me most is his character, when I apologized to him for how I handled things, he showed no grudges and continued to fight for me as if nothing had happened. That kind of integrity and dedication is rare. I would absolutely recommend Mr Holihan to anyone who needs an attorney that genuinely cares and stands firm for their clients, even under pressure.

My experience with Ryan B. Charder, Esq. of Cohen & Cohen Personal Injury Lawyers, P.C. was…read moreextremely disappointing and ultimately resulted in my case being reassigned to another attorney within the firm. My two cases had been with the firm for more than a year. During that time, I became increasingly concerned about the lack of progress and activity on the matter with one of my cases. After repeatedly trying to obtain information and clarity regarding the status of my case status, I made an appointment and went to the firm's office in person. Unfortunately, instead of having a professional conversation about my legitimate concerns as a client, the attorney was rude, condescending, dismissive, and ultimately raised his voice and yelled at me. He repeatedly gave misinformation during the status meeting, when advised the information was incorrect he told me to choose a different firm and he'll send me my files. He had done absolutely no work on my case which was with him over a year. His behavior became so atrocious and concerning that his supervisor Albert Cohen, Esq whom owns the firm intervened during the interaction. Following the incident, my case was immediately reassigned to a different attorney. What concerns me most is that this confrontation did not arise because I was making an unreasonable demand. I was asking questions about a legal matter that had been in the firm's possession for more than a year and about which I had serious concerns regarding the lack of progress and communication. Clients should be able to ask their attorneys questions about their cases without being spoken down to, yelled at, or made to feel as though requesting accountability is inappropriate. I am sharing my experience so prospective clients can make an informed decision when choosing counsel. I sincerely hope my experience with the newly assigned attorney will be different. The firm itself has had great success hence why I didn't discontinue their overall representation, however be very cautious with which attorney handles your case within the firm.

Over six years ago I was hit by a car crossing the street on foot in a construction zone. This caused a variety of injuries and forced me into years of PT, doctors appointments, and treatments. The lawyer handling my case, Josh Goldblatt, did a superb job negotiating my settlement with two defendants, a construction company and the taxi driver who hit me. Jack Oresky offered terrific counselling and insight into all legal matters regarding my case and took the time to get involved in when I had my deposition and also was very involved in helping Josh reach an excellent settlement. I was also very happy with the support staff such as Yusmeris Lapis and Cynthia Leon, who really helped me a great deal with all matters related to my case and were there to answer all my questions and concerns in a timely fashion. This is an excellent legal team that is highly professional and effective at obtaining the types of settlements other firms cannot reach. I highly recommend you choose Oresky & Associates!

My experience with this firm was beyond harrowing and unless you're a masochist, don't put yourself through the torture I had to experience and continue to experience on behalf of my incapacitated father. There are so many other attorneys who will be willing to take your case and handle it appropriately for your benefit. I don't have to list any names because with this firm in particular, when you've met one, you've pretty much met them all from the very top to the very bottom. The biggest mistake my parents made was trusting this office. Once I got involved, I realized my parents had been very mistaken. My mom is elderly with English not being her first language and my dad is a stroke patient with dementia. This office hit the jackpot of prey, but unfortunately for them, I got involved and would not allow for my parents to be taken advantage of. The attorney assigned to our case seemed to identify as deaf, mute, blind, and incompetent, and his colleagues turned out to be just alike. The only thing this firm successfully did was make our lives more difficult than it already is. To this very day, I am struggling with the mess they created. They're calculated, self-serving parasites and you might suffer as I am if you involve yourself with them. Save yourself the many, many headaches.
