I requested a signature so I can get my handicapped placard renewed & I got charged $25 for a lousy signature that takes 2 seconds to perform. I wasn't asking for George Clooney's signature for gosh sakes! Plus, on my previous visit a few weeks back, I waited a combined 1.5 hours to be seen & then got rushed through! Didn't get the care I needed. You would think that after 43 years of being a loyal customer, I would get treated better than this!

He is very thorough, takes the time to really listen to the patient and get to know about their life style, and he is very current on the medical literature. One example I can give is that he had recommended I get a home blood pressure monitor. My mother was sick at the time and I distracted with her condition, so I didn't get the monitor. The next time i saw him, months later, I mentioned that my mother's illness and subsequent death caused me to forget about the monitor. He then spent time talking to me about my mother, and assessing the need for grief counseling, before continuing on with the medical assessment. (I didn't need counseling, but I appreciated the attention to that). He is very prudent with medications, tests, and other medical assessments. He does not hesitate to order diagnostics when they are necessary, but at the same time he does not put the patient through excessive and unnecessary procedures.

She always takes her time and really listens before diagnosing and prescribing random medication. I really feel like she cares and isn't trying to get me in and out. Only reason I cannot give them 5 stars is I generally end up waiting awhile regardless of my appointment but they have always seen me within 2 days of me calling.

I'm so lucky to have found him and his practice, Primary Care. If you're sick, you can call the same day and they will always make sure to get you scheduled the same day. Dr. Gershberg, and the entire medical staff are excellent. A big plus is the on-site lab services. After your doctor's exam, you can have your labs work done the same day. The office is conveniently located across the street from the Berwyn train station and a 5 minute drive from my house. I highly recommend Primary Care.

I was declined a refill of my depression meds (that he upped for not discernible reason) because he wanted to charge me for an appointment and blood draw (that he failed to ask me to fast for the first time). He doesn't order unnecessary tests, he listens with compassion. He is knowledgeable. He cares. His medical assistant is AWESOME. I love, love, love, love this doctor and after 2 years of going through hell, he finally gave me my life back.
