This is probably a more "I'm too medically complex for this clinic" situation than anything. Alas…read moreyou best watch the wording on their website. If you're an opioid dependent individual this clinic does not refill or provide opioid management therapy. Let me be clear on dependence, it's either cannabis that doesn't work well and costs me a fortune or cheap opioid that works extremely well, you can see it's a no brainer why I want to be put back on my opioid therapy like I had until my last prescriber retired at the age of 80. He was an awesome physician and his management allowed me to do so much in life. Right now I am very limited in what I can do and traveling is out of question with dependence on a federally illegal substance (Cannabis) it will never be covered by insurance and it'll never fully get my pain under control when a low dose opioid can. This isn't a problem but it's a lack of staff and lack of service capacity to provide opioid management. If you're looking for opioid alternatives other than cannabis and can wait for procedural therapy then this service group might be for you. If you are a high complexity patient with a grocery list for a conditions list then this service group might not be suitable. If you are an opioid compatible patient and are dependent on them for activities of living and or to extend your ability to thrive in life then this service group will not be able to provide opioid therapy. There are opioid management providers available but not through this service group. The office this service group recommended to me was From Pain to Wellness, their website didn't mention anything about medicine management and their phone system wasn't well built so I looked elsewhere. Midwest Anesthesia and Pain Specialists looks promising, website directly mentions medicine management and their schedulers who are very nice directly stated that traditional medicine management is part of their spectrum of treatment. TL:DR - Go to an office with more providers. This place seems understaffed if they can't manage some opioid prescribing.

The level of care and the engagement with the physician and practitioners was very good but I…read morestruggled with the lack of clarity if not transparency of billing. The confusing detail and lack of information resulted in my flexible spending account administrator clawing back payments they had already made FROM ME. Months of pleading, letter writing and hours reconciling pieces of information really led nowhere satisfactory. The general lack response leads me to believe that while intentions might be good, overall patient care is not a priority. Bottom line: I was left paying for care out of pocket and no one really cared enough to make this right.

Dr. Francis Kania is amazing! I found this gem of a podiatrist per my boss at work. She has been…read moretaking her entire family there for years! There's a real lack of reviews online for good podiatrists, and so I decided to share my experience to help others who may be experiencing anything foot or ankle related: I'm 27 and literally 10 days after my 27th birthday I fell over my dog and broke some tiny bones in my foot. Of course, I went to the hospital in pain and was told I was fine - no breaks. Then I went to my week follow up and was told I was "babying it" and needed to start walking on it. None of these docs had solid reviews online, so I blindly trusted them until my large toe went completely numb. The pain was awful! I went for a third and then fourth opinion and was ignored, told my foot was fine after X-ray review, and then sent for an MRI. Doctor #4 didn't explain what happened to me or what to do. He then wrapped my foot and said to stay off it and to make another appt (which took 3weeks to coordinate) all the while I had no idea what to do. In comes my boss who recommends Dr. Kania!! My first visit he clearly saw there was an issue with the foot. He reviewed my MRI and had me do a standing X-ray (where you could see more). He explained to me that it's hard to see the breaks because of the layers of bone in the foot. Standing for the X-ray allowed him to see one break clearly and the other somewhat clear. He put me in a soft cast, wrote me a note for Lollapalooza so I could still attend in a wheelchair (after nearly 2.5 months of suffering, I finally found a really awesome podiatrist) Dr. Kania worked with me for 2/3 months helping me find solutions to attend my friend's wedding, Lolla, and used laser therapy to help reduce pain and swelling in the foot. We met nearly weekly until the X-ray showed I was doing better. He was excellent at explaining the X-rays, all my options, and coming up with solutions! Even after I was doing better, Dr. Kania and his awesome office assistant, Christine, were always available via phone to answer questions I had. I cannot recommend them enough! My last visit was in January because of swelling after working out maybe a bit too hard and wearing bad shoes. Christine worked to get me into the office the same week and Dr. Kania examined my foot carefully, took an X-ray just to be sure all bones were still ok and then saw it was doing well but suggested better shoes/not over exerting until I felt better. As a runner, spin cyclist, hiker I love being active and this injury was not easy. Dr. Kania and the lovely Christine really helped turn things around for me! I didn't like being broken (no one does) but they truly made the experience manageable. I'm healed up pretty well now and I owe it to them! I can not recommend them enough, and I hope this review helps guide ppl that way!

Up front he told me it was not about knees or ankles, but body mechanics. Also told me my back was going to be next. He quickly identified problem areas, told me why and what I needed to do (stretching, massage gun, exercises & roller balls). Each session he teaches you how to heal yourself. It's not always fun but it works. I have made more progress with him in a few months, than literally years of physical therapy. Thank you Dr. Bach!

I have never injured myself and have spent the last 20 years heavily investing in chiropractic, acupuncture, massage and other forms of body work and supplementation. My muscles seem to always return to their native state of abnormally tight which affects my daily life. If you are frustrated with pain and feel stuck or if you want to avoid spending lots of money on other types of body work, I highly recommend seeing James first.
