I expected my daughter's car to be detailed complately based on these reviews. The owner has his son doing the work and he doesn't really want to work. When i picked up the car they hadn't even wiped down the inside of the car. I asked him to do it and he did it using no elbow grease and didn't go over the inside again when I asked. I had to take the bottle and rag from him and do it myself. On the drive back to my daughter's apartment I found more and more that wasn't cleaned and lots of dust left behind. I paid almost $400 for a job I could have had done at a regular car wash and they would have done a better job. I would not recommend them and I would not take my car to this shop. I was taken advantage of and overcharged for a basic car wash and vacuuming. read more

I took my 2010 Toyota Venza in for a full detail for the first time in the 8 years that I've owned the vehicle. It looks AMAZING! The only time it has looked this good and clean was when I first purchased it from the Toyota dealer. We have two young kids and have taken this vehicle through a lot, including camping trips, ski trips, and even rented it out on Turo; the car had stains, smells, and quite dirty when I took it in, and I was super happy to see the outcome. The price was very reasonable and well worth it for the quality of work done. Also, Brian was very responsive on Yelp messenger and provided wonderful customer service. I didn't think my black BMW X5 after 3 years of abuse from my kids (scratches, resting their skis and mountain bikes on it, sap from the Christmas tree, and a lot of trips to Eldora) could look so good. Needed my Headlights polished up after attempting to do them myself didn't produce great results. I contacted a number of companies on Yelp and found this shop that had a great deal and good communication. I was a little weary at first when I was told they only accepted walk-ins for this service, no appointment, and having to make a 30+ minute drive up I was hoping it wouldn't turn into an ordeal. Luckily, I received great service, got helped right away, nice people, and in and out with a fair cost, quick service and my headlamps looking great. Definitely recommend!! read more

It has been a very long time since I have experienced a business this poorly run. I made a very specific appointment with a woman over the phone a week in advance. She told me to drop off my car by 9am that day. I arrived to find all doors locked. When I called, a man answered and opened the garage for me. He then asked me what I wanted. He had no notes or understanding of why I was there. I finally got him to call the person who booked the appt and had to jog her memory before she remembered. She assured me all would be fine and I left for work. An hour later I got a call from another guy at the shop asking me what service I wanted. At that point I felt like I should leave work and just rescue my car. But I repeated my request to the third person and let it go. They said they would call me to let me know where they would hide the key since they would close before I got off work. 10 minutes before closing I still had heard nothing so called myself. They would still be there. I arrived to pick up and the guys working there had no idea how much the service was or how I should pay. I noticed my floor mats were missing and asked about them. They told me they were in the back, then went around to open my hatch. Not only were they not in there, but he opened my hatch into a tree branch and scratched my car. They had to go back in and look for them then brought them out half cleaned. The inside of the car does look amazing so 2 stars for that. A day later I got a text from someone at the shop saying they don't have details for my bill and could I find the original estimate and send it to them. What? Now I need to work for you in order to pay you? It has currently been 3 days and I still have no idea how to pay for the service. I will pay them, but I will never go back. read more

If you've been taking your car to the Details shop for years, you're familiar with the prior owner Brian Dove's amazing exceptional work that he and his crew provided. Brian left some big shoes to fill! Nervous about taking my Subaru for a simple wash and wax to the new owner, I hoped they'd do a good job. When I came to pick up my car, I inspected it before paying and it looked pretty good! They honored the same price that they quoted me over the phone, which was what Brian had charged me in the past, at least for this first visit. As I drove away, the sun shined through my front windshield and I noticed some of the bug marks were still on my window, and water streaks. They need some work on cleaning the windows better but honestly, I didn't expect the high bar to be met just yet anyway. I'll give them another chance in about 9 months and hopefully their craft will have improved by then. I'd recommend them, but don't expect the "Brian" treatment. We sure miss Brian but we know things never stay the same. Give these new owners a chance -- you can't beat their prices...and the quality is close to the high bar left by Brian, but not quite there yet. read more

We had our 15-year old Subaru with water damage under the carpets cleaned here. Brian was friendly and professional and clear with communication about the process. They needed the car for 3 days which was a little inconvenient but when we got the car back it was like a brand new car! It was unbelievable how spotless and clean the car was. Every nook and cranny was spotlessly clean. I have never had a car cleaned to the extent that they were able to at the Details Shop. Also, our insurance company screwed up the reimbursement process, and Brian was nice enough to mail us a check from his office. We were extremely satisfied. read more

I recently had my 12 year old Audi A4 wagon detailed by Brian and am thrilled with the results. I have taken good care of the car but there was definitely build-up of dirt, lint, etc., on the carpeting, in the vents, and in all the nooks and crannies as you would expect with an older car. It looks like a different car now! I suggested that my husband get his 2013 Q5 Audi detailed the following week. He wasn't 100% pleased with the outcome and Brian didn't hesitate to make things right; he handled the situation very professionally.
