I can recommend Select Cabinetree without reservation! From the moment we walked into the showroom…read moreand met Andrew to the detailed and creative design time with Kimberly to the follow-up to correct a few items (errors by the contractor, not Select Cabinetree), our experience was fantastic. After our furnace malfunctioned and pushed water from radiators throughout the house for five hours, we basically had a full gut job ahead of us. This happened during the heart of the pandemic! We live in Portsmouth, NH, so thought to look in town, but after receiving a great recommendation from our friend and plumber, we headed to Somersworth. Andrew and Kimberly helped us rethink our space and how we used it, providing excellent options, adding recommendations we hadn't considered and even reworking a section minutes before we were to sign the contract after our contractor alerted us to his mistake about a wall that could be removed. Given how busy they were, our contractor managed the installation. I recommend having Select Cabinetree manage the installation as well as the design/material as they will bring that same level of detail and attentiveness to the installation. We all hear vendor nightmares when repairing or building homes, but this business will exceed all expectations. I already gave them the greatest compliment of referring them to a friend, but wanted to leave a review, too. Call them for your kitchen design or redesign needs ... you won't be sorry. Thank you, Andrew and Kimberly! Beth and Michael

When they arrived to review the project and give us an estimate, they explained what they would do and how they'd do it and gave us a very fair estimate for the work. They showed up when they said they would, kept us informed throughout the project, showed us what they had done and asked if we were satisfied. They even did a few extra things not originally covered at no extra cost. They are real craftsmen and would highly recommend them for your painting project without reservation. Plus we got some duck eggs from them!

They worked seven days a week until the job was finished, and they consistently turned out work that was thorough, well done, and professional. The members of their crew were friendly with and respectful to all residents, and definitely went "the extra mile" for many of us. The company owners Lorraine and Dana were in regular contact with our property manager, and this huge job went off without a hitch. We were very pleased with the manner with which this project was conducted from start to finish, and we would welcome the folks from Withrow back in the future.

Dean is everything you want in a home inspector. He did two home inspections for us, and later on…read moreconsulted with me for a shower renovation. The first house, which we walked away from due to the inspection, was great on the surface but Dean was able to clue us in on the immense amount of work that would need to be done. The second house which is now our home, we really felt we knew exactly what we were buying because of Dean's thorough and approachable inspection walk through and report. Dean is great because he takes the time to walk the house with you to point out issues and matter-of-factly explain what would need to be done to rectify the problem. He's very knowledgable about contractor pricing as well as cost and effort involved in a DIY situation. He's objective in his approach and we walked away from both inspections feeling like we knew exactly what we were getting into with our (potential) home purchase. As far as the shower remodel - Dean was able to give suggestions on design, backed up with photos of his own renovation projects, and walk me through the whole process from demo to finishing touches. We will undoubtedly use him again in the future.

I recommend you look elsewhere as…read morethere are plenty of other people in this line of work who are very nice and easy to work with. With Dean, however, billing was a nightmare and he did everything he could to extend his work -- is he hungry or something? I hired him on two more visits (his idea), and on both times he seemed to be doing everything he could to keep extending everything. His report was boiler-plate copy/paste nonsense with pictures thrown in (90% of it was just pictures... thanks... I could have done that myself). On return visits (2!!) he basically did nothing but charged and got super rude about the whole thing. I have all emails, reports and bills to support this review if you're interested. Not happy with his effort at all and everything he did for me was utterly useless to me. EDIT 8/8/2017: I see Dean thinks this is a fake review. He clearly did not see the last paragraph, just above. I have invoices, several emails, and canceled checks to your company. My dealings with you were through a company. I'm happy to provide all this evidence to Yelp for verification. Too bad I didn't record the mean phone calls, too!
