As Buffalo starts to reopen from COVID, my first outing was to play golf at Destroyer Park. It was really exciting, and no door knobs had to be touched to experience this fun event. This was my second time coming here, first of the season. You are required to wear a mask when you are in the office paying to play, because of the close proximity to other people. You are given your own tee as well. At the end of your playing experience, you are asked to return your clubs, balls, tee, and pencil into a basket so they can be sanitized. As usual, the owner is incredible nice and accommodating. Doc, the dog, is the MVP (most valuable pup), and VIP (very important pup) of the place. It is a nice relaxing afternoon of walking, exercise, and getting to do an activity that requires no human interaction, besides getting the equipment and paying. I'm sure this will be the new 'it' place this summer due to social distancing. It is inexpensive too. My mom's boyfriend ended up getting a hole in one on hole 6, right after I said, "I don't know how anyone can get a hole in one." Upon returning to the office, he got a T-shirt that said he got a hole in one, and we all posed for a photo. In the office, they also have equipment for sale, ice cream, and Dick "The Destroyer" Beyer memorabilia. I can't wait to get back there.

I love dinosaurs. Like, LOVE love them. I've been obsessed with the creatures since I was four…read moreyears old, and that enjoyment has never gone away. The magic all flooded back when we stopped in Niagara Falls to look around while on a road trip from Toronto to Buffalo. When I saw Dinosaur Adventure Golf, I literally started screaming to go! In order to quiet me down, my hubby immediately bought a ticket for us to play two rounds of mini golf on each of the dino courses. This place is an absolute blast and an easy must-do if you're even remotely into dinosaurs. Everything is super well kept, clean, and clearly maintained, which makes the whole experience feel legit and not at all like a cheesy throwaway attraction. It's not cheap, but this mini-golf experience is worth every penny. I mean, DINOSAURS!!! There are two full 18 hole courses, each with a different theme. There's the T-Rex Trek and the Raptor Run, and both are rad in their own way. T-Rex is a bit more relaxed, while Raptor actually brings a real challenge for more experienced golfers (I say that very loosely). I'd recommend playing both courses for the best views of all the dinosaurs. A full round takes about an hour, unless you're super fast or a good putter. While the attraction was busy the day we visited, I never felt rushed or crowded. The theming is next-level, making this one of the very best roadside attractions I have ever visited. There are life sized dinosaurs everywhere you look, corny sound effects, rocky cavern terrain, and a 50 foot tall volcano that literally shoots fire. Not "pretend" fire. Actual flames. When it erupted with smoke and fire during my golf game, I was frozen in my tracks from sheer excitement! Guys, they have a VOLCANO. THAT ERUPTS WITH REAL FIRE! REAL. FIRE! Bonus points for the ticket value bundles that are for sale. You can pair this with other Clifton Hill tourist attractions and save a little money, which makes it an even better deal in a touristy area. There are wax museums and fun houses and carnival rides that are cheesy but also pretty awesome, so be sure to check out the discounts if you're going to make a day of it. Whether you're a hardcore dino nerd or just want a genuinely fun mini golf experience, Dinosaur Adventure Golf totally delivers. Fun, challenging, over-the-top, and way more memorable than it has any right to be.

This is actually really fun and worth doing while in Niagara especially with kids. It's large and…read morethere's benches between holes and the large dinosaurs and waterfall and caves are fun. At night the volcano puffs fire which is cool too.

We were a bit skeptical of how it would measure up, because it's in a much smaller unit, but we turned out pleasantly impressed. The one obvious improvement is that it's newer than the old facility, but it's been a few years since they moved. Yet, it is still very fresh and clean. We booked our tickets online prior to going, as recommended on their website, to avoid any wait behind others to get started. Sure enough, we only had to wait a couple of minutes once we arrived to get started. In the meantime, we wandered among the arcade amusements you can enjoy. You can purchase ticket packages in bulk if you want to enjoy the arcade machines and games in lieu of or in addition to your mini golf experience. We were handed out putters and able to choose what colour glow-in-dark ball we wanted. We were able to begin right away. Throughout the entire 18 holes, we rarely had to worry about waiting on people ahead of us, or causing delay to anyone behind. It wasn't perfect, but it was a testament to how well they manage to stagger entrants. All of the holes were different, in terms of layout and paint design. Everything was aesthetically pleasing. The challenge level was a good medium so that you don't want to scream with frustration, but not so easy as to make it absolutely boring. I'd say we spent maybe 90 minutes or so in total to complete the course. We were asked if we'd like to have a scorecard to keep track, which we did. It wasn't always easy keeping up, moving along, and writing scores on the fly, but it made it a little more fun to keep the competitive streak running. We dropped our putters off before exiting the course and were done. It was a great family activity, which I'd recommend with any group you might want to play with. They also offer party packages, with a full sized party area to accommodate a celebratory meal. We'll definitely return every so often for a fun, family experience.

Perfect for date nights or even a fun day out with the family, this mini golf place definitely delivers! Psychedelic colours await you with distorted shapes and figures covered in neon as you putt through all the rounds of a really fun and different course. Each hole is different and has it's own charm. Staff are friendly and even when it's not super busy, it's still a great day out. With such an affordable price, I'll definitely be back!
