With that said there's no TV or microwave in your room. I didn't ask or look if there was a microwave in the common area but there was a large tv and lots of movies to watch in there. Lots of outdoor seating on the porch and a communal fire at 8 each night. Very nice! I'd love to go back there again. Also very quiet and not busy of 4th of July weekend so if you have pets afraid of fireworks this would be a good place to stay . The hotel itself is good. Like its name Resort & Spa, it's a good place to stay to enjoy the hotel facilities like those resort hotels. We got a one-bed room suite with a full kitchen. The highlight of this suite is the laundry set, a small washer and a small dryer. Since my son plays hockey and becomes stinky with his jerseys, it's a lifesaver to have this set in the suite. I actually did my laundry twice a day to make sure that my son got freshly washed jerseys for his next games. The next amazing thing is the fully equipped kitchen. They prepared everything you need in the kitchen, such as pots, pans, baking pans, plates, bowls, cups, glasses etc. We did purchase some groceries and cooked in our unit since there were not many restaurants in the area. We were also able to reheat the leftover food from the restaurant properly to enjoy. The bathroom is huge and has both shower and bathtub. While it's nice, it's a pain when we have 3 people in this unit. When one person is using the bathroom, other people will have wait. It would be nicer if they could arrange vanity and toilet separately. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I don't have any complaint. Although everything seemed nearly perfect here, I noticed that one of the dining chair was ripped seriously. Ugh! This made me remove one star. Otherwise, I do like this place and would like to come again!

We love camping with the convenience of a restaurant on site. The owners and staff are friendly. The food is delicious 95% of the time. Sometimes the burgers and fries have been overcooked. Our favorites are prime rib Saturdays and any/all of their freshly made on-site desserts. We also love that they continue to make improvements and upgrades across their property. Of course my young son doesn't eat hardly anything, ( basically pizza or pizza sticks, so it's really difficult to get him to eat..welp anything really).. We ended up ordering their Greek salad & a side of home fries for my husband & myself to share & a kids chicken strip/fries for our son. We DO NOT like to go into restaurants really at all. Too many people, too much going on around us, judgemental people all the time etc etc, so like usual I ordered it to go. Then went back out to our truck to tell my husband & son how long til I could go back in & pick up the food. Our son told us that he wanted to go inside AND he wanted to sit down together INSIDE to eat & of course we did it for his sake. My husband will fight tooth & nail to avoid all public events & interactions usually but not this time. We go in & get sat down by a window overlooking the lake. There was a few folks there not much. Let me tell y'all from the moment we sat down, we felt comfortable, invited, not judged, not scrutinized, not any of the normal stressors that will normally get us to get out of any place as fast as possible! It was really refreshing! The manager guy was very very personable, very engaging but not overly so & the bartender guy was the same. We let our son color on a dollar bill & we all signed it & the manager, without even saying anything to him, brought us a stable gun that he quietly sat on the edge of our table so we could put the dollar up on their walls of bills when ready. The food was great - the fries where probably the best fries my husband & myself have had in a long time & our son ACTUALLY ATE HIS FOOD!!! Great job to the two guys working. This weekend, I went to the Okanagan to tour the wineries, something I have always wanted to do…read more (And I had a fantastic time--what an amazing weekend!) My friend found Desert Surfside Waterfront Accommodation through Expedia, and he booked the last two bedroom suite available. (The hotel was sold out the weekend of our stay.) According to my friend's booking, each bedroom had a queen sized bed, but when we got there, one of the rooms had two twin beds instead of a queen sized bed. However, that worked out in our favour, as our group consisted of me and my boyfriend and two people who weren't a couple, so the fourth person did not have to sleep on the sofa bed as we had planned. The suites at Desert Surfside Waterfront Accommodation have a kitchen, stocked with cutlery and cooking utensils, including wine glasses and a corkscrew, necessities for a visit to wine country. (Although you must bring all your own food and condiments, including salt and pepper, and things like plastic wrap and aluminum foil.) There are also BBQs available for guests to use, so we put some steaks on the grill for dinner Saturday night. Desert Surfside Waterfront Accommodation was clean and quiet, and the wifi was excellent--you logged in once, and that was it--the wifi did not cut out, nor did you have to log in every time you came back to the hotel. Quite a pleasant experience overall. I'm not sure what their prices are like during peak season, but I would recommend Desert Surfside Waterfront Accommodation for a small group. We paid $140 a night, and split four ways, it was very economical. And because of the sofa bed, the suite could accommodate up to six people. The one snag was we thought check-in ended at 9pm, as my friend's reservation confirmation clearly stated 9pm. So imagine our surprise when we got there around 8:30pm (and we really struggled to get there by 9pm), only to find that the office had closed, and check-in ended at 6pm! Apparently, the 9pm check-in end time was their summer hours, and they had recently switched to their fall hours. It was probably an Expedia issue, but I would recommend calling them directly and confirming their office hours. (I can't find any information about check-in hours on their website.) Another thing to note: instead of keys or key cards, each suite has an electronic lock, and to open the door, you enter a four digit code. However, when you enter the code, you at first think you did it incorrectly, as it beeps and flashes red, then a moment later, flashes green and unlocks. While we were on our way, the building manager had called to give us the code, just in case we arrived after check-in (which we did), however, he neglected to give us our suite number! We did manage to get a hold of the manager when we arrived at 8:30pm, as his suite was right beside the office, and he saw us through the window, looking puzzled. Overall, a good place to stay for groups who are on a budget, but be aware of their early check-in hours, and call first to confirm! [Yelp collections: Hotels]

Full set of silver wear; including set of cooking knifes. Dish set and wine glasses all in their proper places throughout the kitchen cabinets. Again, didn't expect any of that and it came very handy. Great sofa set with love set. 2 Toshiba LCDs - one in bedroom and the other in the living room. Great private balcony with wicker furniture set - a table and 4 chairs with great view of the lake. In summary, Will be back!

We knew what to expect, we thought, as we had stayed there last June for a couple of nights and really enjoyed it, but this was to be a longer stay - would we feel the same? - we sure did!! Our room this time was a 2-bedroom 'suite' on the 3'rd (top) floor -- two bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed, bureau, tv, and all the "trimmings", plus, a living room/kitchen area, with two hide-a-bed sofas, kitchenette (with fridge, electric range (w/oven), microwave, coffee makers, and the other "works" (pots & pans, and the like) to cook, and all. A large, and very private balcony, with accesses off the living room and the one bedroom -- with patio table and chairs, and a totally-unobstructed view of the beach, Osoyoos Lake, and the surrounding mountains, as seen from this beach-side of the hotel. From early-morning to late-evening, the views from our balcony were always "picture-perfect", at times quite breath-taking, and at other times, just downright interesting (watching the various birds and fish enjoying the beach and water of the Lake below us!!). A nice plus since our last stay at the hotel, there's a small, breakfast dining area on the main floor, where you can make, sit, and enjoy the included breakfast offerings. Cold juices (orange and apple), hot coffee, and water (for tea, etc.), a choice of cold cereals and milk, hot cereal makings, muffins, fresh apples and bananas. It sure worked for us, and was perfect to start our days each morning!! And with all of that, and the friendly and so-accommodating staff, we much-enjoyed anther stay at the Coast Osoyoos.

The Okanagan Valley has stunning views, hiking trails and a plethora of wineries. Our family has been staying at this motel for several years and although it's clean, it needs refurbishment and updating. There are no dishwashers or elevators which is especially difficult in the three-level building where the one and two-bedroom condominiums are located. The couches are past their comfortable stage and the old air conditioners are only in the bedroom, not the living areas. This relic used to be very popular in the summer months but my recent trip this summer was very different. The staff is friendly and helpful but may not have jobs soon if they don't update this place soon.
