The wall filled up with water for about 8 months when I noticed the wood floor was wet. When I called the restoration company they quickly determines the window was filled with water. I called them back out to seal the window and the water issue subsided. When I called them back to take responsibility for the faulty installation, they denied responsibility. I have since tried to make a claim against their liability insurance to no avail. No one even came by to inspect the damage and they denied it. Don't get caught with $1000s in damages from a company that doesn't know how to install windows properly the first time. I tried to resolve the issue with the company before posting this review, but they are reckless and negligent and in denial.

This job was simple removal of existing countertops ie wood and install Quartz countertops w/Backsplash ! Well all went great until installation day they didn't line up with countertops bottom so u can see a 1/4 " from edge missing on one side and the other was supposed to be one piece but they sliced with dull blade 2 times and you can see both seams which look terrible! So Joe says they will fix it but day one no show, the only positive is I have a kitchen sink and and we can operate the dishwasher! Now the negative these expensive countertops/Backsplash are not as beautiful as promised "You won't see any seams" then backtracks saying he said that when I know I asked prior to even deciding to go with them. Then the other negative is we have family coming in a week and my kitchen is not completed as promised! The communication is absolutely the worse ever not only with the customer but with each other! When they know they messed up terribly they ignore phone calls and text this is the absolute worse experience we have had with a company in a very long time!

To repair damage from Hurricane Michael, I enlisted Area Glass to replace the glass in five windows…read moreat my home. They gave a 6-10 week lead time for the work to be done, so definitely not a quick process.  After seven weeks, they finally committed to an installation date, but on the day of the installation, they informed me that four of the five window panes could not be installed because they were incorrect sizes. The exact reason for this wasn't very clearly explained, but the fault seemed to be shared by Area Glass and its supplier. Because I was in the process of selling this home, Area Glass's mistake and the resulting delay was very consequential for me, but after informing me of their error, they exhibited no urgency in correcting the issue. They offered a lot of apologies, but it took a great deal of prodding to get them to expedite the process of correcting their mistake. Their agreement said they had 10 weeks to complete the work and that's all they cared about. Ultimately, Area Glass took two months to complete their work and, despite all that time, they screwed up one of the most fundamental parts of the project - ensuring glass of the right size was ordered and delivered.  It's unfortunate we victims of Hurricane Michael are at the mercy of contractors like Area Glass who lack the empathy and willingness to provide high quality service or work.
