- I will start by saying with my first visit last week Mrs. Weaver ( hope I'm spelling correctly )…read moreis an amazing vet. We brought 1 of my 3 fur babies in last wk & informed her that all of them are experiencing extreme itching, patches, & dry scaly spots. She tested for flea ticks & mites, came back clear & she also performed a skin scrap. Prescribed her steroids & something for the infected skin. Amazing lady. I called the following wk to bring my other fur baby & called prior to my visit & asked to have the same vet we just had ( Mrs. Weaver ) I'm big on 1st faces & comfort. I was told that it will be her again. Get there & it's 2 completely different vets, NOT Mrs. Weaver at all. This specific vet ( Dr. Nunnally ) damn near seemed scared to come towards Gelato. Stood by the door until I distracted him with treats. Basically, came in asked what day did we come in with other dog, said she was going to check the paperwork & came back with medication that was given to my other dog. Literally in & out. Honestly thinking notes are kept & communication is tight, didn't think anything of it ( my babies do have allergies ) until I got home to give him meds & notice he only had steroid NOT the medication for infected skin. So I called back to ask about it, 24hrs later I'm told the vet ( Dr. Nunnally )didn't see the need to because no skin rash was present ( I'll post picture of his skin irritation that she claim he never had because she was too scared to look ) she clearly missed it because it's been going on with them for 3wks, I even had to send pictures & was told I'd have to pay for another visit when it should have been done RIGHT when we brought him & informed them that day. Hell, even the receptionist tried it saying " no she didn't miss it, in her notes she doesn't have skin irritation" like YOU WEREN'T THERE ! It truly doesn't matter atp what she did note because it was CLEARLY false. Gelato was 100x calmer than Queen was & Mrs. Weaver manage to get it done right. It doesn't matter if the revisit was $200 $50 $10 or $2 it's the fact that it wasn't done when he came in so WHY should we have to pay for her ( Dr. Nunnally ) mistake ? Everyone makes mistakes it okay, it's truly just the principal. Mrs. Weaver, however, is Heaven Sent. She gave this place a star in MY opinion. Establishment is beautiful but I'll definitely pay my money towards a vet that gives af.

It was my first time bringing Cloud here for a mini groom and she came out looking and feeling like…read morean actual cloud. As the owner of a double coated dog, my biggest fear is when a groomer doesn't ask for permission and just ends up shaving the dog, but the groomer followed my instructions and just let me know the matted areas so I can brush it out myself. I am really happy with the service and will be back regularly.

Let me start off by saying I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE…read more The first issue I had was that although they were priced too high for the service, they went on to text me half way through the grooming session to tell me that they were assessing $15 because my dog wouldn't sit still. When I arrived to pick him up they showed me a video of the woman shaving his foot and him pulling his foot back. This, they said, meant two people were required; hence, an extra fee was assessed. My dog is 8lbs by the way and not aggressive at all. Next, when I picked up my dog they attempted to charge me another additional $15 because they assumed my dog was over 10 lbs even though I had already told them he was 8.4 lbs. The didn't re-weigh him, they just charged me based on their assumption until I said something and requested they weigh him there. He was 8.4 lbs. Lastly, my dog had fleas the next morning. When I texted them about this, she asked if he does monthly treatments. Yes, I said. Her response was then essentially "well, I wish I knew why your dog is on the treatment but still gets fleas". For a split second, I could appreciate the humor, but then I remembered the $91 I paid for this terrible customer service. I mean, if this is acceptable for you, then cool, but it isn't for me, so we won't be back, and I do not recommend.

If you're looking for a Veterinarian who gives your animals love along with great customer service…read morethen Lance Animal Hospital is the perfect choice! They have helped us through many major concerns between issue from our 2 beloved dogs! My husband & I have a 13 year old miniature dachshund & this past Spring of 2024, sadly our beloved 10 year old Doxie poo (Roxy) passed away. A few days later, we received a special sympathy card in the mail from Lance's. I was very impressed that they had taken time out of their busy schedule to personally contact us after our dog died, and what really made a big impression on my heart was the kindness we received from each member of their staff. Each person personally sent a sympathetic message along with their signature on that sweet sympathy card. In the 13 years since we've had our dogs, we've used 2 other veterinarian's in Hall Co, but neither of them treated not only our animals, but our family with such excellent customer service & kindness as Lance Animal Hospital has treated us! Blessings to Lance's staff from Shane & Paula Karrigan

I think the care my cat and dog received here seemed okay enough…read more That said, there were too many times where the staff was snarky or rude or unprofessional. It's not that they make mistakes, it's that they blame and argue. They deflect their responsibility. They don't seem to understand they can be calm, polite, apologize, and move forward. I've been going to this vet for over five years, and periodically one of the staff would just be really unprofessional in their snark. For example, one staff member argued with me for about ten minutes about the age of my cat. Why? Why argue? It was SO ODD. I did not understand why this was the hill she wanted to die on. The receptionist kept insisting my cat was younger than she was. Over and over and over. THEN, I guess the receptionist finally decided to believe me, and she pivoted to insisting that *I'd* put down the wrong birthday, and that's why she had the wrong age. (ARGUE... then BLAME.) I went along with this theory in hopes we could just move forward in the conversation. But I guess the receptionist had a bone to pick and put me on hold to check the initial visit record. She was right fighting. It was needlessly exhausting. Turns out *they* entered the wrong info into their system. It was their mistake all along. So they wasted time, caused undue stress, and blamed the client rather than, say, calmly update the record and MOVE ON. Like a polite, rational person would. That's one of many, many examples. I'd never asked to speak to the manager before, I'd never called them out on their BS. But after YET ANOTHER MISTAKE, I finally asked to speak to the manager. I just wanted them to apologize and to get things rectified. But the manager didn't want to take responsibility. Their staff had dropped the ball, and the manager's attitude was, "well, IF that happened..." This was the proverbial last straw. It *did* happen. The staff member did drop the ball. I don't need to add gaslighting to snark and blame in these interactions. I wish they'd just apologize and MOVE ON. Just be professional. No need to deflect and argue because you made a mistake. If I were one of the veterinarians, I'd be MORTIFIED that my staff was acting this way. The care here is not fantastic enough for these draining interactions.
