It will be difficult to convey the supreme level of skill and passion she has for each of these crafts in this small review, but I will try. I have learned after many years of knowing her on a personal and professional level that this stems from her personality. Personal training: I use the same workout schedule she created for me 5 years ago and occasionally add or subtract variations that she suggests. Her innovation and understanding of the relationship between structure and function of the human body never ceases to amaze me: when I work out at the gym the trainers around me ask if I am a trainer because she has the most up to date work out techniques and she has trained me so well with proper technique. Everywhere I go people are complementing me on my figure and muscle tone - which never happened before Julie. Yoga: I travel around the states and often live in another state for 1-3 months. I have, therefore, tried countless yoga and Pilates classes/instructors. If you are into yoga you know that finding the right studio/instructor is worse than finding the right hair salon and stylist. Julie has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and this experience in all types of yoga really shows in her group and personal classes. Massage Therapy: This category will be the most difficult to convey to someone who has never experienced Julie's touch. If you simply ask for a relaxation massage it will be the best you have ever had. If you want more, her breadth of skill and knowledge is literally infinite. She constantly studies concepts in anatomy/physiology beyond what we begin to learn in medical school. As an Osteopathic Physician, I appreciate the knowledge she has about the human body and the skill she has for finding and treating musculoskeletal dysfunction. Sorry for the long review.
