Cute as a Button Photography

I would advise to ignore the 1 star review. I Couldn't recommend Cute as a Button enough!…read moreWe initially had our newborn shoot with Cute as a Button and the compliments we are still getting, over a year on, speak volumes. The 1 star review from another customer is highly unfair. There was no lies or excuses! We also opted for the Christmas Minis shoot and can vouch for the delay with the courier company, as I actually work for the particular courier, that was delivering the prints! We experienced delays due to the busy Christmas period, which unfortunately reflected badly on both us, and the photographer, who actually went out of her way to deliver them asap. We will continue to use Cute as a Button for our photography needs, with confidence, and always recommend them!

On the day of the shoot Olivia was a true professional with the patience of a saint considering my little ones were in self destruct mode. She made us all so welcome and settled the children within minutes with her funny personality and array of props to keep them occupied. Lots of fun was had from beginning to end. The prints we received were just simply awesome and I will cherish them forever. Her work is of the highest quality and I will 100% be back for more as the children get older. Overall it was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. A++++++

The lens itself is a bit smaller so finding a lens cap can be hard, but I got one here along with a clean cloth. Then last week my camera sort of stopped working. It worked enough to take a photo unless I tried to zoom in with the lens it gave a "check the lens status" error. I decided to come down to Hall Camera to see if they could help me out before automatically buying a new lens and/or camera. The man working there was great. We tested another Olympus lens on my camera to see if the issue was just with the lens or the camera itself (it was a lens issue). While Hall Camera didn't have a way to repair my lens the man gave me the name and number of a camera repair shop in Rathmines that might be able to help me out. The fact that he gave me this information instead of automatically trying to upsell me on buying a new lens or a new camera made this a great experience. The staff was friendly and if you are looking for a new camera they seem to have a good selection (along with other photography equipment). I highly recommend checking out Hall Camera.

The big tower and Celtic crosses there are beautiful. We were there in the late afternoon and got to take some nice pictures of the sun shining. It's very serene. This is great due to the variety of stock they have on hand. Any major sport you think of, Nike will have something for it. Staff are friendly too, never had any issues. I only went on two holes but it was amazing. There is also a beach entrance right by the hotel, I walked along the shoreline and made sure to put my toes in the sea... it was freezing! My room was very cozy, king sized bed and a large desk. Spacious bathroom, hairdryer is located in the desk...not in the bathroom... found this to be a normal thing in Ireland. Also free wifi is always a bonus in anyplace. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in... not sure if it was because I had been up all night on the flight over and was super tired. We had dinner at the 1780 restaurant, the tour group had our own menu to choose from. I started off with the shaved truffle parma ham, main course I had the pot roast of chicken, burnt onion, petit pois ala francaise...so damn good! Classic creme burlee for dessert. I loved hanging out at the Jameson bar, old photos, paintings and dark wood was the decor. Enjoyed a whiskey tasting and some smithwicks draft beer. The hotel is a perfect jumping-off point to explore all the most vibrant neighborhoods of Ireland's capital on foot. My family found the Hilton's parking garage to be decently accessible. Driving and parking in Ireland are generally difficult for Americans like myself who are unused to the roads here. However, this hotel offered one of the less narrow entryways for my rental SUV to park overnight. Entering the hotel, I appreciated a sleek and pleasant lobby that features plenty of seating in which to relax. The decor pays homage to Dublin's most iconic structures; an artistic skyline adorns the wall behind the front desk. The staff here is most helpful. When the battery of my rental car died, they graciously helped me contact the airport rental desk to obtain a new vehicle. I also enjoyed the Hilton's breakfast offerings, which featured delicious poached eggs and Irish hash browns. I highly recommend both. Finally, the rooms themselves are modern and fairly spacious by European standards. One room was sufficient for my family of four. Word to the wise: Americans would be well advised to bring electrical outlet adapters to charge their phones. Apparently the outlets here are different from those in the states. In conclusion, I was happy to have selected this hotel for my first night in Ireland. I could not have asked for a better stay.
