It was way too big around the waist to begin with and then I lost another 40 pounds after I purchased it. My gown was a sample dress so it had flaws such as pulled strings and missing beads. Perfect Fit made my dress fit me perfect as well as fixing all the issues it had from being a sample. As soon as my son tried it on, the owner immediately dismissed the idea of tailoring it. Instead, he told my son--a teenager--that the blazer didn't look good on him, that it was too big, and that it didn't fit right. That was not only unnecessary, but also inappropriate. We didn't come in for his opinion on the appearance--we came for tailoring services. The owner refused to listen to what we actually wanted done and was very dismissive throughout the interaction. He claimed the alterations would be "too much" without even properly discussing options. He then started putting together what seemed like random, inflated prices on a calculator. At that point, we decided to leave because of how poorly the situation was handled. As we stepped outside, the owner followed us out and yelled, "You're mean and stupid." His behavior was aggressive and completely unprofessional. We felt uncomfortable and threatened. After I thought about it, I should have called the police. There is likely footage from nearby cameras as well. I also want to mention we were not rude, and we were very polite. **Careful everyone the owner will make a response and claim such things never happened at his establishment, like I just made up the whole thing for the hell of it, I would never write a bad review on someones establishment if it wasn't true!!**

When you walk in, it looks like an explosion of clothes went off and there are articles of clothing everywhere - on the floors, slung across chairs, randomly on tables... everything piled on top of each other. If you don't have the ticket she gave you initially when you return to pick-up your item, it will take much longer for her to find your items and she seems confused (not something that happened from my personal experience, but I've seen it twice with the customers in front of me). Tech Cleaners is located in a very busy main road close to WPI, so it's in a pretty good location with plenty of business. It has a make shift parking spot with room enough for one car to quickly drop off/pick up. There's plenty of space on the side street though. I really like the automated paperslips and receipts which prints out a barcode/number along with the breakdown of costs. It even prints out when to expect pickup with date and time. You can be sure that your clothes are your clothes and won't go missing. Even with the amount of clothes they have in inventory, they have a large automated clothes hanger that keeps everything pretty organized. The cost breakdown was $15.90 for the suits, $5.50 for the pants, and $5.50 for the shirt. The total bill came out to $26.90. Price can't be beat as I'm use to having to pay about $3 -$4 more at other locations. Would definitely recommend this place for quick and fair service!

I brought him a Brioni sportcoat I bought on sale 2 sizes too small and he made it fit as if it was custom made for me. He's a magician. He can take a suit that was made in the 1990's and make the fit look modern. I used to bring my clothing to any tailor and nobody ever complimented me on my clothes. Once I started going here, I felt that my clothes fit better and others started talking about what a great dresser I am. He takes some of the garments apart right in front of you and shows you why other tailors can be butchers. You see a lot of cut corners, crooked seems and sloppy jobs in the work of others. Joe won't let it leave his shop until he's satisfied with the look. All those years, I had been wearing off the rack suits that didn't fit right. Joe can tell if one arm is longer than the other ... knows how you carry your weight to make your silhouette look slimmer ... and actually hems your pants to the right length because he knows how the clothes will shift when you walk. What good is wearing a pair of pants that look good when you are standing still ... if they are too short, or long, when you are walking or sitting? Is this guy the cheapest? Not by a country mile. Initially, I thought ... why would I ever spend twice as much to go to Joe (someone who trained in Italy) when I could spend half as much elsewhere? The answer is ... you get what you pay for. Wanna look good? Spend the extra. It might also take longer than average ... he's a one man shop. But, if you are really in a pinch, he will help you out and expedite your order ... if you tip well. If you need a dress done for a wedding next week, this might not be the place to go. But if you want the job done right, it's worth the weight. Tailoring is about more than just pushing a needle ... and you'll really notice the difference here. Joe is a craftsman and can make an ill-fitting garment look like a million bucks. Smiles, courtesy, a friendly chat, and total honesty about what's possible and what's not. In terms of the actual cleaning, it's great. They work hard to make my clothes nice.
