I'm not support inclined to return here. I wanted to like this place. They had a cute little junior pedicure stand that was pink. I went in for an acrylic fill and it felt like the fellow was either new or heavy-handed. My poor hands couldn't take it. The acrylic was thick, if you prefer that. I prefer thin. He didn't ask. There was a gal there who saw my misery and she finished up. She might be quite good. The store was fine. There were a couple of other people there. But the prices were exorbitant. That or I haven't looked in a while. In any case maybe it was an off-night. If desperate I'd probably go back. read more

Nice, clean place. Everyone is friendly. My nails are hilariously bad. They are all too small for my fingers and some are oddly shaped. I came with a few people (upcoming wedding) and it was hit or miss on who left with nice nails. Thank gawd the brides nails looked beautiful. I was one of the unlucky ones. I tried to explain what was wrong with my nails but the tech didn't seem to understand. I finally just gave up and let her go with it. I can't wait to take them off. Good pedicure though. read more

I'd been seeing some positive things about this place and been looking for a new place anyway. I made an appointment with Lisa who turned out to be the owner, so I had high hopes I'd be finding my new go to place. However, I will not be going back. For starter there is hardly an apex which is very much needed when you have length to a nail which lead to my pinky nail breaking not even a full 48 hours after getting them done. They already look like they have a weeks worth of nail growth. They was no attention paid to the curticle area what so ever, no hand massage or warm towel experience. They want to up charge for absolutely everything but give absolutely no personal experience or do anything to set them apart. For $75 I would highly expect a more luxurious experience, not to mention my nail not snapping off after two days! I would have expected the owner to be able to do a standard apex to give the appropriate need strength. I wish I paid more attention to what they looked like before I left as I would never have paid that amount for the quality performed. I truly wish I could get a refund. I will not be recommending this place to anyone. read more

This place was sold and I just went in here recentlyz the new owners have the place looking very nice and have super comfortable massage chairs. They also have cute little girl ones too! Staff was nice and friendly and they have a large variety of nail color. Average prices as well. Pedicure was good. read more

This was the worst pedicure I have ever received. I was in and out in an hour (which includes waiting for 25 minutes even after I called ahead and was told to come in). The water was luke warm at best. Typically you get a pedicure to get dry/dead skin off heels and toes but the gentleman that did my pedicure maybe used the pumice stone for about 20 seconds per foot with no pressure while I held my leg up. Although my nails are painted now, it doesn't even look like I had a pedicure. I will not go back. read more

I had good experience the first time I went but my second time was a nightmare! My acrylic fill was lumpy and uneven. The shellac polish color was uneven so parts of my nails were darker than others. When I noticed at home and went back to complain, I was told it was the just the shine of the color I had picked. I am NOT going back I've had my nails done for the last 30 years and have never had these issues with this color or fill, as I tend to stick to one color and fill type read more

First the good- The woman that did my nails was friendly, somewhat talkative but not too much. I went in and decided on dip nails. I choose the color and we began. It was a very gentle manicure, it's supposed to be gentle on your natural nails so I was happy about that. It was not as long if a process as gels or acrylic so I figured it would cost about the same. The price is it on the board. Without my reader glasses it looked ok. The bad - I used the restroom and the back of the salon is filthy. Not just needing to be picked up, actually dirty areas and it smelled like old food. There was a dark room with several children playing on tablets. Two techs sitting in the pedicure chairs, no masks. If there is time to sit there is time to clean. My manicure was so so lumpy. The ends of my nails were twice as thick as center except on several it was hill valley hill. I paid.....$55!!!! I did tip $10. It is still a pandemic so I do want people to make a living. My fault for not asking but I truly think she priced this based on the fact that I wasn't working in the middle of the day... So I had to file the crap out of my brand new $55 nails to smooth them out. Now I know why she didn't. Now I have areas with thin color that look different. I threw a coat of polish on and called it good. I didn't go back because in my past experience with nail salons they typically don't do much. They look OK now. I'll be going elsewhere for my next manicure. $55 for crappy nails I could have done better myself. It was so slow you would think they would go out of their way to do a good job, repeat business is important. You would think they would want it! read more

I think as long as you don't get the guys in there you'll get good service. I've had almost every nail tech work on me there, and the only time I've complained was whenever one of the guys have done it. One in particular that sits in the first chair for manicures. When getting acrylics, I asked for oval. Literally all my nails were different shapes that weren't oval. He also uses the drill way too hard while not paying attention, causing it to go off the nail on to the skin which hurts so incredibly bad. After a few times of him doing the same thing every time I had enough and told him he can not do my nails ever again. Other than that the girls who work there are amazing. They pay attention to every detail of your nails and do their absolute best to give you what you want! read more

I made a reservation and still had to wait about 15 minutes. the staff is pretty friendly. i got a full set of acrylics and it took about an hour and 45 minutes. they look good i guess, but if you take a good look at them, you can tell that the shapes aren't very even. it also seemed like she was rushing a lot but that could've been because the store was already closing. read more

I had one tech going back and forth between me and another woman without washing her hands or the tools she was using in between. I was there 2 hours and 45 min WITH an appt. Only gave 1 star because I could not give 0 stars. Worst gel manicure I ever had. Requested he use files on my nails and he insisted on using drill. When he was painting the nail, it didn't look like he was using any of the gel polish. The next day, I could see through my nails in the sunlight! Within 2 days 5 of my nails had chipped. Called for refund and they refused, offering me to return so they could asses and fix. I was out of town for 12 days, so tried to plead with them for refund as I need to get my nails redone while I travel. The flat out refused. I'll never return to this place. read more

I took my daughters ages 9 and 15 for pedicures. We walked in to find a movie playing on the tv that was extremely violent with pervasive profanity. (One scene had a child being held down on the ground with a gun to his head) The televisions are along the back wall and the pedicure chairs face the televisions. The volume was loud and the subtitles were also on, so my 9 year old got not only a vocabulary lesson, but a spelling lesson as well. I asked the woman working if she would please change the channel. She ignored my request and went into the back of the salon. I thought that maybe she didn't understand what I asked her. After a few minutes, I asked a gentleman who was standing right in front of the television if he would please change the channel. He too ignored my request. The woman came back into the salon area and told my daughters and I to sit down and give her our colors. After I sat down, I asked her again if she would please change the channel. She was very rude and hostile and, in a loud tone of voice, said "do you want your nails done, or you want me to spend my time changing the channel" Needless to say, we left without getting our nails done. We then found a great salon on old US 23 in Brighton called M Nails. M Nails has a beautiful facility that was very professionally run with a courteous staff. read more

I can not say good enough things about the people and this place!!! A+++ !!! I go every two weeks to get my nails done! Here hand nail art is amazing and the nail stamp art is just as good!!! About 2 weeks prior to our date of service, I called to make appointments for a bridal party with services for 10 different people (different combinations of eyebrows, manicures, and pedicures). What was surprising was that upon arrival they maybe had about 3 or 4 people working for the whole salon - including the 10 of us in addition to regular customers. While we were there, they took some walk-ins before servicing the rest of our party who made a reservation. It wasn't terrible service, but it was not the best either. read more

I have been very happy with the pedicures at Nail Tech for several years. They do a super pedicure. We camp nearby in the summer and I won't go anywhere else to get my toes done. The first few times I came here I thought this place was great. It's really hit or miss. I've had good manicures and terrible ones here. It's not exactly clean but could be much worse. Appointments mean nothing to them. They will take them but don't be fooled, a walk-in in the same. Sat 3 hours the night before my wedding despite making them months ahead. Most recent time I was there the outside of my hand burnt afterwards. 2 weeks later it's still hurting...I think some chemical may have touched me left over from someone else's service. Rude and unprofessional. Will not go back. I told them I just moved to the neighborhood, my first visit was for a fill-in only. The tech didn't speak to me was rough and keep pushing my hands where she wanted them and appeared to have an instant dislike for me from the start. I asked for a paper towel because the arm rest was damp from the last customer and she said "we don't have paper towels" I've been getting my nail done for years and this is the first time ever, I didn't leave a tip. Not a good way to impress a first time customer. In hind sight...I think she was rude because I was getting a fill-in only...and not spending enough money. She also left for the back room while doing my nails left me sitting for 5min. I didn't know where she went. I will never step foot in that salon again! Fill-in was too thick also! read more

I just moved to the area and needed to find a new nail salon. I came to this place on a whim and I'm glad I did. The salon is very nice. It's clean and a cozy feeling inside. The older lady with short grey hair completely ruined my experience there. I had a pedicure done and the girl who did my pedicure was super friendly and made my toes look awesome, then i went to the older grey haired lady for my acrylic set and she was AWFUL! she completely rushed through it, none of my nails were even, the nail polish was super messy, and she was not friendly at all. I then came in 2 weeks later for another acrylic set and she didn't do my nails but as soon as i walked in she rushed me to pick a color. i wasn't even in there for a full minute and she repeatedly told me to go to the chair while i was clearly still picking my color. She got an attitude when i told her i was picking a color. The whole time carter (who is beyond amazing!!!) was doing my nails she kept giving me dirty looks while being on the phone and acting as if i was doing something wrong. she is VERY unprofessional AND rude. Will not be back to this nail salon because of her. She made my experience very uncomfortable, and a close friend of mine also was complaining to me about her! read more

I hated my color, the color of the powder wasn't the same as the sample and turned out a totally different (ugly) color.
