Where's the six star button? I am getting married next year and wanted to get a gift engraved for my best man. Desert Wind Engraving helped me through the process (realized I couldn't get the gift engraved because it couldn't lay flat for the machine, so ended up getting a plaque instead). The manager quoted me $10 and sent me a mock-up the next day and had the plaque ready the same day I approved it. I went to the store to have it applied to my gift and he told me congratulations and sent me on my way. He refused payment and it was a real class move. I brought a Fantasy Football trophy here to have a couple names updated. I dropped the trophy off in March/April. They told me they would call when it was done, and I still have not heard anything. I have attempted to contact them several times...sent emails...left voicemails...I have also returned to the shop at least three times and there is never anybody there. I cannot comment on the quality of their work at this point. All I know is that they have FAILED me as a customer. I'm hoping I can at least get my trophy back at this point. read more

My fiancé brought in a championship belt he won for fantasy football. Chris was welcoming and helpful from the moment we walked in to the moment my fiancé walked out one day later with his belt. He obviously knew what he was talking about, which gave us a real sense of comfort when we left the belt with him after such little conversation. I wanted to make a shadowbox for my father's service in the Navy. I went to Desert Wind Engraving and described what I wanted. I gave Chris my father's medals, insignia, ribbons, and challenge coins and he definitely delivered. Other engraving places told me I would need to buy a separate piece of metal for them to engrave, Chris was able to use the piece I had and he had it ready the next day since it was a small piece.
