Over the years, I gained weight and now weigh around 115 pounds. I've always been petite with a natural C cup, but after having three beautiful children, my breasts were no longer the shape I wanted. Looking back, I wish I had listened to my first plastic surgeon when he recommended getting a breast lift along with my augmentation. Instead, I only chose implants to restore the volume I had lost. The results were great for the first 10-14 years, but as I gained weight, gravity and the additional breast tissue caused my breasts to become much larger and droopier. Because of these persistent confirmations, I physically called out of my shift at work to make sure I could attend, completely losing out on my wages for the day. When I called the office, I was told my appointment was canceled and pushed to next year. They do not know why they kept sending me reminders. For a premium clinic that charges thousands of dollars for surgical procedures, having a broken and misleading reminder system is completely unacceptable. It shows a total disregard for patients' time, careers, and income. If they cannot manage a basic scheduling calendar, I do not trust them with my healthcare. Save yourself the lost wages and the headache, and go to a clinic that actually respects its patients

She said "i spoke to Doctor ____ and that's not what she said, you have a slow digestive system and need to eat more fiber, you're not having surgery" so i got up and left. She did not even do her own consultation, she based my symptoms off what a different prover at a whole different practice told her. The referring doctor dismissed my issues, therefore this doctor dismissed my issues. I felt like I was in high school having 2 girls gang up on me, not at a doctors office. Long story short, I found a new doctor who referred me to a colorectal surgeon. I had an MRI which shows I do indeed have suspected deep infiltrating endometriosis growing into my rectum. Both my doctor, my new gyno, and this new surgeon agree that i need surgery to repair this issue. I have been told to prepare to get an ostomy bag because that's a real possibility. I am currently awaiting diagnostic testing to determine what type of surgery I will be having. This place refused to even investigate. My visit here was almost 10 months ago. This provider dismissing me without doing her own investigation made me live in pain and agony for way longer than necessary. Please listen to your patients and do your own work rather than taking the words of another careless doctor as gospel.

The experience of getting in, getting approved and getting scheduled for your surgery won't be any more difficult than a typical shopping trip. They literally handle everything. You'll meet Dr. Teng and you're going to be very confident that you're in good hands. He's a surgeon and pretty direct/efficient in his communication style, but his bedside manner conveys care, concern and most importantly, confidently competent. He's exactly the surgeon that you want. He's going to listen to your concerns, check you over and order tests as necessary. Your surgery will be scheduled, the check in and pre-op registration along with last minute tests like EKG & blood coagulation factors will be completed with no difficulty. From my very first consultation, everything was explained thoroughly, and I felt informed and comfortable throughout the entire process. The pricing was very fair, especially considering I had an extended abdominoplasty, liposuction, and a fat transfer to my buttocks (BBL). Scheduling my surgery was simple, and before my procedure I had another appointment where every detail was reviewed, including what to expect during recovery and everything I needed to do beforehand. I was especially impressed by how proactive the team was. They arranged my cardiac clearance, blood work, started me on antibiotics, and made sure I had all of my medications before surgery, which made the entire experience much less stressful. My surgical package also included an overnight nurse, my compression garment (faja), and all follow-up appointments, which added tremendous value. The on-site surgical center is beautiful, modern, and state of the art. When I saw my results on the very first day after surgery, I was absolutely stunned. I had a rhinoplasty and septoplasty performed by Dr. Smith in late 2019. This is my honest account…read moreof my experience. I have nothing to gain or lose by sharing it. Dr. Smith & his anesthesiologist were excellent. I remember telling Dr. Smith after surgery, "Your anesthesiologist was amazing." He replied, "Good. He better be, because I pay him a lot of money." I told him the anesthesiologist deserved a bonus. That part of my experience could not have gone more smoothly. Unfortunately, my experiences with several members of the staff have stayed with me to this day. Immediately before surgery, a staff member appeared extremely nervous while attempting several times to start my IV. I normally have no difficulty with IVs and have a high pain tolerance, but her visible anxiety and constant apologizing made me increasingly anxious & almost physically sick. Thankfully, the anesthesiologist stepped in & successfully placed it immediately. My first appointment after surgery affected me the most. I had just endured one of the worst nights of sleep of my life because my nose was tightly packed. I was in tremendous pain & doing everything I could to hold myself together in the waiting area. Two staff members were laughing loudly & joking with each other in the back. That did not initially bother me because I was simply trying to manage my pain. However, when I was called into the room, they remained in the same playful mood & began speaking to me in an exaggerated, babyish voice. They explained that they were going to remove the packing & give me a "mustache," referring to the gauze beneath my nose. They repeatedly told me in that same babyish voice that I was going to "have a mustache for a while." I felt mocked, patronized, & humiliated. I was an adult recovering from major surgery & in significant pain. I simply needed to be treated calmly & respectfully. Instead, I remained silent & answered only by nodding when necessary. When the packing was removed from the right side of my nose, the pain was unbearable. I felt intense pain travel through my nose & around my eyes, along with a distinct sensation that something had shifted or been knocked out of place. The pain continued afterward. The packing on the other side came out easily. I immediately began crying. Only after they saw me crying did their demeanor change and they begin speaking to me appropriately. As I continued caring for my nose during recovery, I could see that my septum appeared significantly bent to one side. I was devastated because I had specifically paid to have a septoplasty along with the rhinoplasty. I cannot know with certainty what caused it. I do not know whether the septoplasty did not heal as intended, whether there was a surgical complication, or whether something was affected when the packing was removed. However, because of the extreme pain & the sensation of something shifting during the nasal packing removal, I have always believed that something may have happened at that appt. The first time I brought the issue to Dr. Smith's attention, my nose was still healing & the area was covered with what I was told was scar tissue. He initially said everything was fine. At a later appointment, he examined it again & acknowledged that the septum was bent to one side. I tried to explain what I had experienced during the packing removal, but I never received a clear explanation. I felt dismissed & as though no one believed me. Eventually, I began accepting that this might simply be my new normal. I had another disappointing experience when my external cast was removed. The staff member handed me a mirror and excitedly told me, "Don't look at it yet!" She seemed determined to create a dramatic reveal. Internally, I was furious. I had spent more than $10,000 on a rhinoplasty & septoplasty, was already concerned about my septum, & had been waiting to see the result of my own surgery. I did not appreciate being told when I was allowed to look at my own face so that someone else could enjoy my reaction. When she finally gave me "permission" to look, I briefly glanced at my nose, handed the mirror back, & simply said, "I'm good." Seeing my nose for the first time should have been my moment, & I did not want anyone to take that away from me. That is my honest experience. I still do not know exactly what happened with my septum, but it remains visibly bent to one side (I still believe something happened during the nasal packing removal). More than anything, I wish my concerns had been taken seriously & that I had received a clear explanation. Externally, my nose is beautiful, & I am happy with its overall appearance. Dr. Smith did excellent cosmetic work. His anesthesiologist was also outstanding. Unfortunately, the way I was treated by certain members of the postoperative staff, along with the unresolved result of my septoplasty, continues to overshadow what otherwise could have been a very positive experience.

I originally tried to make the appointment online and couldn't find any open appointments. I then called and they said they were moving away from the online scheduling system and would rather go through everything over the phone especially if there's any pre procedure instructions or questions that they need answered prior to booking. I loved that, a business who wants to communicate with the customer and make sure there's no misunderstandings. There were several appointments available at all times of the day any day of the week. When I got there, they were also just as attentive if not more! I was also then walked into one of the rooms and asked about my history, any goals I had for my skin, and medications. Part of the pre procedure was also talking to a PA and verifying my history. Then Evie came in to start the blood withdraw. Throughout the process I was constantly asked about how I felt, what to expect, and how I would like to proceed. Since I was nervous, they told me I could wait an entire hour for my numbing, which I did. I didn't feel rushed and felt comfortable the whole time. I LOVED this.
