I had a very disappointing experience with Desert Septic Systems. A septic certification was performed at my property in late December. I was told definitively that my system required full replacement because the tank was supposedly steel and severely rusted. However, the septic system was never located, excavated, or visually inspected before this conclusion was made. Relying on this information in good faith, I contacted their recommended, local contractor to discuss replacement and was quoted $5,000+, which caused significant stress. Because the claim felt serious, I obtained a second opinion from a licensed local company. That inspection located and excavated the tank and confirmed the system was not as described and did not require replacement. I requested a refund due to the inaccurate certification and lack of proper inspection. After receiving no response to my email, I called and spoke with Jeff. I was asked to repeat my explanation multiple times without resolution, and the conversation became defensive. I was told I would receive a follow-up, which never happened. This experience felt misleading, unprofessional, and inconsistent with industry standards for septic certifications. EXCELLENT! This is the Company to call: (760) 369-7338. A tenant had flushed baby wipes and caused quite a mess... We did not know where 2 of the 3 septic tanks were located on the property. We needed an expert, and needed urgently. Rob immediately came to pump 2 septic tanks for us. He knew very quickly how to locate the tanks. As we watched him, we felt that we had called the right Company. He was efficient, proficient, courteous, and very affordable compared to others. We are extremely happy with this Company. BEWARE!!!!!!! I had a property that went through escrow, this company supposedly "certified" the septic tank. This business owner stated he pumped the septic, he provided a bogus certificate. Now, 6 months later I have two professionals stating that he never did the work he claimed he did. When I talked to the business owner he became rude and refused to provide proof of his work, he's a cheat and non trustworthy! Seems he's changed business names and doesn't have a good reputation. DONT HIRE A THIEF!! He really needs to be fined!! read more

Horrible horrible service. Rob, who happens to be the spokesman of the company, is extremely misinformed on what he does. I called to ask if he could service my community's septic tanks, and he told me he doesn't do that and isn't interested. Came right out but refused to try and clear the baffle for an elderly couple. Would have only taken a few minutes. Would not recommend.

Customer service! Our septic was having issues so I called Desert Septic. I spoke with Rob and Jeff. They suggested I try a few things before spending the money to have them come out. Great customer service! Called Desert Septic for a second opinion about a cracked fiberglass septic tank. They went out and verified that the tank was, indeed, cracked. Recommended a low-cost solution to the problem that might have worked well but the crack was more extensive than we thought. We wanted to go with Desert Septic to replace the tank because they had a better bid (and great customer service...they never charged for their visit), but a driveway wall prevented them from getting their equipment in to excavate. Unfortunately we had to go with a different company because the house was closing escrow soon and needed to be finished quickly. Were it not for that reason, we would've found a way to work with Desert Septic instead. We were very happy with our experience with them and will call them for all of our septic needs in the future. read more

20 years ago Howard Marshall recommended Desert Septic for putting in a new septic system. We called Rob and he quoted the job, installed the system and drain fields. We never had any trouble with the system. They came in with a fair price and did the job on time and on budget. Desert Septic is honest. read more
