I was shopping for my new apartment, spent a LOT of money in this store, and had my infant with me -- and the way he treated us was disgusting. As we were leaving with our cart, instead of using basic manners and telling us carts can't go outside, he decided to threaten us by saying, "Keep pushing the cart and you'll see what happens." That instantly made me feel unsafe and extremely uncomfortable, especially with my baby right there. The flooring outside already stops the carts, so his hostility was absolutely pointless. He kept staring us down, making rude comments like, "They're still here at the doors," and giving us nasty, intimidating looks as if we were doing something wrong. It felt like harassment. Because of this security guard named Adam, I will never return to this store. I'm genuinely shocked that management allows someone with that attitude to interact with customers. They need to replace him immediately with someone who can act like a decent human being.

I don't think I saw any Ross employees on the floor putting merchandise away and cleaning up the aisles. Avoid using their self-checkout. This system is so inefficient. After using self-checkout, I had to take my bagged items to a table, where an employee took out EVERYTHING I bought, and counted for each item. I only used this self-checkout line because no employees were at the registers. The whole process was ridiculous! I can only imagine how it is on busy days, where people who have used self-checkout have to then line up in a second line, and have only one employee removed all their bagged items and count them. I understand stealing is an issue, but maybe instead of having this inefficient checkout process at self-checkout, hire more cashiers.

It just wasn't my cup of tea anymore until I became a mom and that child turned into a teen. She would always "window shop" but, would never really buy anything from here. Then there were a pair of pants that she asked for Christmas, so I did an online order to avoid the hustle and bustle at the mall. She opened it on Christmas and wore it for a day and the whole backside ripped open. These are stretchy (almost legging type of pants) and she is a slim 15 year old, so it had nothing to do with me buying a size too small, but everything to do with a very cheaply made product. Brought it in to return a few days later, I forgot the tag at home, but had my receipt. I was unaware that their store policy was they wouldn't accept returns unless the item was unworn with tags still attached. That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. So this super rude "manager" by the name of Jayla continued to argue with me although I told her the tag was at home and it would be an hour round trip for me to get it and come back, she had no empathetic bone in her body and wouldn't budge. Ok, I understand...but 1) Don't he rude (there was a uber long line and she yells over my shoulder "So sorry for the wait everyone, thank you for your patience" in a very condescending tone) even though I waited in that same long line and not once did she apologize and 2) DON'T say the reason you can't take it back without a tag is because you can't resell it. WHY WOULD YOU RESELL DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE?! Super shady. She calls another manager over, Vanessa who had zero personality at all who told Jayla to do a "special return" and Jayla rudely drags my phone roughly across the counter to scan the receipt and huffily processes a store credit. The kicker is, she made this huge deal over $11 pants. This place is trash, more than half the store was empty as according to Jayla they are having an amazing holiday sale to restock new inventory hence why the store was 50% off everything. Sure, ok. Also, if your employees have to wear your clothing brand, please make sure it's tasteful and they are not spilling out everywhere. It was also my daughters's 15th birthday and Jayla totally put a damper on her day with her bad attitude!
