Just so you know, they take lunch from 1-2pm. If you show up…read moreearly to fill out paperwork you'll be waiting a long time, they don't answer any phone calls either. Eventually I walked down the hall to find someone, considering it was 15 min before my massage appointment was supposed to start, got rudeness from an african american lady who did not want to have her lunch interrupted and kept reiterating that I had to wait. I told her I'm sorry I didn't know but it also doesn't say anywhere that you all are taking lunch at this time (you should really advertise that or put a sign not blame me) and I didn't want my appointment to run behind if I have to fill stuff out ahead of time. The front staff was all over the place and I also had a guest with me getting a massage after me. Not a good impression at all and not a great way to start off a relaxing massage. They didn't decide to ask for full payment until 2:05 and were about to charge me more than I had already paid if I hadn't shown my deposit receipt. They finally took me back and I was rushing to get undressed and hop on the table to give enough time, my massage didn't even start til 2:17 and ended at 2:59, I knew that because of the laptop that's open while you get undressed which was weird, wasn't even used for music or anything. He didn't ask any questions other than what I wanted but didn't check in on the pressure or anything throughout. He was quiet until halfway through he started talking nonstop, cussing as he talked which I get that some people talk like that but not during a relaxing massage or in a professional setting, and he kept stopping the massage to get a thought out. He asked me if I ever heard of "scraping", I hadn't, so he pulled out a tool and said "this is what it feels like" and used it on my neck. He didn't even ask me if I wanted to try it he just went ahead and began rubbing it on my neck. I thought he'd quickly just to show me and I told him it didn't feel that bad...until he started doing it longer and he didn't say til after that it sometimes looks like a bruise, so I now have a nice big red hicky-looking mark on my neck! This made me upset more than anything after I saw what he did to my neck, I didn't ask for that! He didn't spend a lot of time on doing a complete and thorough massage, missed my feet completely (same thing happened to the guest I brought), didn't ask about my flexibility when stretching or if I could and the hot towel he used at the start burned my back to where I jumped in pain to take it off and it took a while for the sting to go away. When he was talking about his training he stated he barely passed his anatomy final which definitely was not reassuring to hear either. Nice enough guy but not a professional or relaxing massage experience in the slightest. I guess you get what you pay for. Word to the wise, if there are a lot of appointments available in a row for someone, you probably don't want to book with that person. I had to warn my guest who went in after me what had happened and regretted even bringing her here. If it was up to me I would have just stopped the appointment and got my money back, but guessing at the staff organization rudeness (and how the owner responds to other low reviews here) they probably wouldn't have given it I'd say 40% of the actual massage work was decent but the rest was just a weird and uncomfortable experience. I DO NOT recommend massages here at all! Update - the massage manager called to discuss what happened. She apologized and offered a 30min massage for me and my guest even though we paid for a 60min massage each, and my guest was from out of town so there was no point. She said she also talked to him about making sure he asks people before doing the scraping....but that's it. What a poor excuse for an apology, bare minimum if that. I told her he needs to be talked to about a lot more than that, they could face lawsuits for how he works. Didn't care in wasting my time further if they aren't going to go above and beyond to make this right. Told her I won't be returning and I'm not removing the review. People need to be aware of what's going on.

Looked at the Yelp reviews and finally convinced him to go. They were so nice to him and allowed me to be with him the entire time so he was more comfortable. The chiropractor could tell where his issues were just by feeling along his back while he had him do some basic movements. All of the front and back office ladies were super sweet and joked with my husband throughout which really helped his comfort level. After adjustment he got therapy with a TENS unit and heat which he LOVED. He is now finally a believer in going to the RIGHT CHIROPRACTOR.

The Vic Spa has shown their true colors recently. As a residence of victory we try to support all…read morelocal businesses but when the service is not good and they illustrate a lack of compassion towards their customers that is where we draw the line and stop using their services. This is the case with the Vic Spa. We had made spa reservations for my wife and two friends who were in town to have their nails done the day after New Years Day. The day of New Years Day one of our friends received bad news regarding a family member and had to book an urgent flight back home that evening. The day of the spa treatment which was the next day our other friend woke up not feeling well. She wanted to give it a bit to see if she would maybe feel better but did not so we called the Vic Spa to inform them of the situation and that we would need to cancel the three appointments. They informed us that they would still have to charge us as it was less than 24 hours notice. I'm not sure how we could have given them 24 hours notice since the day prior the service was New Years Day and the entirety of our situation all occurred less than 24 hours before the service. We escalated to their management who still is not empathetic to the situation but did offer to reduce the charges for all three appointments by 50%. I've since read online that others have had similar experiences regarding 24 hour notice at The Vic Spa. In addition to this experience my wife has shared that the couple of times she used the Vic Spa for nails she's had to have them redone in less than a week. We've since found another spa place that has much better service and have not seen issues with nails chipping or flaking. We will continue to use other services like the Vic Kitchen and Bar where we have seen excellent customer service but we will not be back to the Vic Spa and would advise anyone considering them to be ware of their poor service and management.
