Analicia was my massage therapist and she was absolutely amazing! I'm the pickiest person when it comes to a massage therapist. **Disclaimer** (I am not a member and this was my first time ever) I had an extremely disappointing…read moreexperience at Hand & Stone in Peoria. The biggest issue was my interaction with the manager, Megan. Her attitude was incredibly unprofessional, and the way she spoke to me made me feel completely dismissed rather than helped. As a manager, I expected her to know how to communicate with customers and handle concerns professionally, but unfortunately, that was not my experience at all. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was the way I witnessed her speaking to and treating employees. The atmosphere felt tense and unwelcoming, and it was shocking to see that kind of behavior coming from someone in a management position. I came to a spa expecting a relaxing, positive experience and instead left frustrated and uncomfortable. Good customer service starts with management, and based on my experience with Megan, this location seriously fell short. I will not be returning and would not recommend this location to anyone looking for a welcoming or professionally managed spa. If I had the option for negative stars I would.

Stating that if I were to sign up for a membership then they could allow the discounted $120 rate. The manager then came out to inform me that their location doesn't follow the franchise guidelines that are on-line. Furthermore, the pushy sales lady was a total buzz kill after my 90 minute massage! I hope that Jen got the $20 tip I left for her. And no, I didn't pay $195 - that's not what I initially agreed to. I'll never go back.
