She listens with a kind heart and gets to the root of your health issues. It's awesome that a place so affordable can give such high quality care. Such a safe and wonderful healing space! I'll be back again!

Erin, front desk person, completes onsite screening: temp check, oxygen level, questions about symptoms & if you have been around anyone who's tested positive 5. Only 8 chairs set up - less crowded than setting in previous photos - spaced six feet apart 6. Other clients are wearing face masks entire time 7. All chairs have sheets on them + floor to ceiling curtains between them 8. Mayo/acupuncturist wears mask & gloves As for acupuncture process, I tried it about 25 years ago, after falling during a hike & injuring my lower back. And that's the last time I used it! Mayo put me at ease right away & asked me why I was there: oh ya know the world is imploding :) Stress/anxiety/tension! She inserted about 15 tiny needles in me. I only knew the Yin Tang point (between the eyes) b/c a friend said that's primo spot. She informed me she'd leave them in for @ 40 minutes but come back to check on me. The Acupuncture Room emanates a peaceful vibe: white billowing curtains, white-sheeted chairs, and white noise plays in the background, as well as soothing music. Maybe 5 other people were there at the same time? Again all masked & socially distanced in their chairs. I didn't get sleepy or even relax really, but it was my first time. One of the needles fell out almost right away when I was shifting around in my chair. I couldn't exactly yell out & was disappointed that Mayo never came back to check in, until the end. It would have been nice if she had b/c she could have reapplied that one. At the end when she returned, she advised me on how often I might visit, explaining acupuncture works best as a cumulative process. Overall, congrats on providing this healing modality so that it's more affordable/available for everyone! I'm a huge fan of treating mental and physical health challenges with both western and eastern medicine. When Mayo told me she was a one-woman show, I was even more in awe: managing many clients, at one time, in a communal setting, while charging on a sliding scale. Wow! Thanks to both Erin & Mayo.

Joey at Complete Harmony Acupuncture listened to all of my concerns, explained the treatment and now has me convinced I'm in the right place. I have been resting more comfortably since my initial treatment but I'm no stranger to acupuncture. Joey's technique is like an old friend that I've been reunited with and I'm confident, I'm going to be doing much better real soon. Thanks Joey!

EDIT UPDATE 2025:…read more Since my original visit, Complete Harmony Acupuncture has only gotten better! Their new office manager Amanda makes scheduling and check-in a breeze with her warm and professional touch. The updated website includes new package pricing making it even easier to commit to ongoing care. I've appreciated the add on services as well. I've received electro-stimulation and cupping for pinched nerves, a soothing moxa treatment for unusual bloodwork and targeted pain points getting an extra needle or two. The key is to let Dr. Kim (Joey) know your current concerns--he'll determine exactly what your body needs in the moment. And I can't leave out Vincent! I tried making the corn tea he serves at home, but I have to tell you, it just hits different when your feet are soaking and Vincent is kneading your back and shoulders into submission. If you're still unsure whether Eastern medicine really works, trust me: this is the place to put those doubts to rest!
