Looking for the best sports massage therapist!? You can find it here at the San Tan Salon and Spa inside the Doubletree Hotel. Jessica is the sole masseuse that works wonders with her hands and provides you comfort and relieves all the stress, dull pains and aches. I originally came here probably less than a year ago when my lower back went out along with a series of right side gluteus Maximus pains from the chiropractor. I used a Groupon for this to try it out. Glad I did!! Jessica worked her way through the muscles and knew where to pinpoint. She told me when to breathe for the parts that was going to be a killer but worth it! Along with her magic masseuse hands she has a wonderful persona. She has been the best sports massage masseuse I've been to so far - and let me tell you, I've been to plenty that say they do sports massage and they don't seem to compare. The ladies from the salon were also sweet! Coffee, tea and water are available, along with magazines while you wait. And a bowl peanut m&m! Yum! read more

Had bad experiences with spas previously. So I was apprehensive about going to another one... but am glad I did! Maja is now my go to... my person. ^_^ She is warm and friendly, knowledgeable, her hands are soft and gentle. (The last lady from another spa had course and heavy hands, and she smells like cigies.) The price is just and competitive. The place is clean and welcoming. I highly recommend this place, and my person -- Maja! read more

Was in town briefly for work & saw the sign thinking it sounded good. In fact Jessica was great! Released lots of tension using pressure on specific muscles. Really the best possible use of an hour after so much travel! read more

If you need a good massage therapist then look no further. I started coming to Jessica after my chiropractic adjustments hit a plateau. My body hardly ever hurts since coming here and I've noticed an increase in flexibility in my hips. She really knows her stuff. She will even tell you how to stretch or where to self massage problem areas for in between visits. Jessica's massage room has a nice relaxing ambience and it is always clean. She is a friendly person and takes pride in her work. Once she works on you, you will never want to go anywhere else for a massage. read more

Jessica did a great job. She does pressure point massage that may hurt a little but if you breath through it and relax, it can bring healing to the areas that need it. The salon is clean, small and intimate. The massage room was comfortable and relaxing. I found the salon through a Groupon that made it more than worth the price. Give it a try, I believe you will be glad you did! read more

Enjoyed a therapeutic message thanks to Jessica today. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to book same day, she was very accommodating over the phone. The spa is located in the lovely Double Tree Hotel. When I arrived I mentioned two specific areas that were bothering me and she seriously knows what she is doing. Worked out the knots and tension but I still got to relax during it. read more

I had never gotten a sports massage and was a little nervous but Jessica helped me relax. I felt amazing afterwards, a little sore, but she worked a lot of knots out. Will definitely go back to visit and have already started to recommend. Jessica is very personable and professional. read more

Gary Whittington is the most gifted massage therapist in the valley. For many years he was the most requested therapist at the most exclusive spa in Arizona. Prices there were way out of my price range. Now Gary has a new place to work his magic with prices that are affordable to everyone. I have many health issues that are responding in a positive way to his treatment program, geared specifically for my needs and issues. Although, I have arthritis in my neck, back, hands and other places I literally dance my way out after a 90 min. treatment and remain pain free for several days. For me, this is a miracle! Gary has helped so many find health and I am grateful to have him as my massage therapist! read more

Jessica is great! I had a lot of problems in my shoulder area and back. She worked out all the knots and I feel like I have a lot more flexibility due to the massage. Being a serious golfer I have dealt with a bad back, wrists, knees, legs, feet, etc. After working with Jessica for two years I have significantly reduced my pain and have increased my flexibility. Let me tell you Jessica is a unprofessional don't waste your time or money. I scheduled and confirmed my appointment for a massage and she did not even show up.or bother to reach out to reschedule. So I drove to that spa after work out of my way 35 min. For nothing.... The spa receptionist dident even bother handling the situation properly or offer other options for a no show massage therapist . Horrible customer service.will never return or waste money at this salon. read more

I have used Jessica's massage service twice before and it was good and that's why I went there again even though it was like 30 minutes away from my home. But this time, it went bizarre!! Beware!!! You can only book appointment online but CANNOT change/cancel online and you will never get hold of them over their advertised business number. If you leave a message a few times, you will get a response and you think its all good and taken care of, or so I thought. And this is how it went when I went on re-scheduled time... I went there at 6:30pm for my 6:45pm appointment and wondering why the spa was closed..waited for 10 minutes in the hotel lobby and gave Jessica call on the number that was on the board outside the spa. She said she is almost there, I said OK. She came in a minute after that and opened the doors. I said how are you? and just continued the conversation about how I was wondering why it was closed and was explaining that..didn't even finish.. she says "I feel like you are attacking me, you can return your groupon"!. I didn't even understand what she was talking about..wondering what groupon...I said, "sorry, what?". She says, "I have right to refuse service, I don't need to be here 20 minutes before the scheduled time and I don't like to be in this space right now". I am like, wondering why she is going this route for no reason at all. I was thinking, may be she has issues following my accent or something..I tried to explain that she had no reason to think that I was attacking her in any way and that I was merely wondering and making a conversation and left as I wasn't going to use her service after being told, I am refusing service to you. I have nothing to make sense of that, except it was like a revenge of cancelling earlier appointment. Like I said, I have used Jessica's massage service twice before once with groupon and once without and I am not sure what is the matter with her this time! Jessica, It may be its a good idea to leave a note on your doors that you will arrive at whatever time that is you are going to come, so your customers know that and don't have to wonder and ask about it unless you want to use this as a reason to refuse service!! read more

After being in major pain for several days, my hubby found a Groupon for The Double Tree San Tan Spa. He felt 100 times better and couldn't stop talking about how impressed he was with Jessica. He then made and appointment for me and he was right, Jessica is amazing. I have gone 2 times now and 3rd appt scheduled. read more

*DO NOT BUY A GROUPON FOR A MASSAGE* My sister bought a Groupon for a one hour massage as a Christmas gift for myself. Since I am not a first time guest, I was told by Jessica I could not use it and I could gift it to someone else. Jessica even said I could not even get credit for it. So I gave the Groupon to my mother to use. She went to use the Groupon and Jessica gave her a hard time regarding the Groupon. She wanted my mom to show it was "redeemed." Since it was a gift, my mom could not click the "redeem" button. Jessica then lied to my mother saying that I could have gotten credit for the Groupon towards a massage for myself. My mother did receive a massage, however it was only for 30 minutes NOT an hour. Jessica did not offer to re-schedule it. This is not how you conduct business. My mom was not given the full credit of the Groupon. Beware when trying to use a Groupon here... what a bad experience here. I would recommend going somewhere else for a massage. read more

Not only was I able to get a last minute appointment with Jessica, she never rushes her treatments or massages. I never mind waiting a few extra minutes. She is personable, courteous, and truly for the people she takes care of. Highly recommended. I also suggest getting any kind of energy work done. She is absolutely amazing. You will never feel better. read more

The therapist Jessica stated she had seen me before and i might have to pay ( $100 ) for the massage and not be able to use the groupon ( $27) . She stated her records showed previous visits which was interesting , but refused to show me these records . Things got weird from there and i left after some unfriendly words were exchanged . As a therapist i knew this was a problem that was beyond my skill set . So be advised if things get weird head for the door quickly . read more

****DO NOT BUY GROUPON DEAL; HONESTLY WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER FROM A SPA**** I purchased a Groupon Gift voucher for my sister as a Christmas gift for this spa. My sister went in to use it and since she was a prior customer she was not allowed to use it, which is understandable. However, she told my sister I could gift it to someone else. I chose to give it to my mom. My mom went in to use the gift voucher and the masseuse, Jessica, told my mom she was no longer taking the groupon vouchers since she was having difficulties with them. Instead of providing the service which the groupon was valid for, which was 60 minutes, Jessica only did 30 minutes since she did not have time to fulfill the entire service. I contacted Groupon reference this incident and they advised this should not have happened and they would be investigating the matter. Even if there was a miscommunication or difficulty between the Spa/Jessica and Groupon, why should the customer suffer and not get what they were promised when they paid? This is the worst customer service I have experienced at a spa. I HIGHLY DO NOT, DO NOT, recommend this spa. Save your money to a more respectable business. read more
